I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2 NIV)
WELCOME TO TEXAS
DALLAS — Same person. Different state. More remarkably brilliant strides being made with God, her Helper, steering the way.
During a recent interview with Making Headline News, accomplished serial businesswoman Brandi Sholar explained at length why she deemed it necessary to take her immeasurable entrepreneurial skills from the Motor City to the city that is famously known as H-Town.
“What inspired me to relocated is when I visited Texas and it felt like home,” Sholar told MHN. “It felt like Texas is where I suppose to be with my businesses and, with my family now here, I am starting my insurance agency and my hair company. I feel I’m where God wants me to be and the sky’s the limit.”
Indeed, it is for Sholar, who is now suitably known as a Houston-based businesswoman-turned-author.
Besides having added a Certified Motivational Speaker to an entrepreneurial repertoire that include the release of two book (The Darkness From Within and The Steps I Took To Get Where I’m At Today), Sholar announced the ceremonious launch of her prayer journal, which is available on Etsy along with what she labels “the entrepreneurship planner,” as well as her mindfulness planner website, RichSoulEnterprise, also available via Etsy.com.

Prior to her much-anticipated relocation to the Lone Star State, Sholar has been enjoying sustained success as the owner and CEO of Uptown Tax Pros, Uptown Fashion Wear, and Trulife Coaching. And, just recently, she announced the launch of Impressive Staffing, her newly-erected Houston-area employment agency that is effectively open for operations.
Talk about having an immediate impact in the state where things are routinely done big here.
“(I’m fueled by) motivation, determination, being financially free, and giving my kids the life I have always dreamed of living,” said Sholar, how her competitive drive in life has helped propelled her for her assortment of business ventures. “(I’m determined to) create jobs for my community.”
To her credit, Sholar has been on an entrepreneurial tear, particularly in the wake of an unprecedented pandemic that has crippled the economic landscape.

Sholar, in fact, hasn’t missed a beat while functioning in her element, most notably last fall, during which she announced that she was a rising motivational speaker.
Such an endeavor surfaced in the wake of Motivational Monday, her newly-erected weekly empowerment segment that airs weekly on Facebook Live and YouTube.
Sholar also hosted Rags To Riches, which aired on Detroit’s WHPR 88.1 FM during which she customarily shared of her life’s rash of obstacles.

Also, Sholar had announced the debut of The Brandi Sholar Show, a platform whereby she greatly empowers her viewers and listeners of the importance of clearing arguably the toughest of life’s hurdle that will, in turn, enable them to savor the abundant life that Christ came to give us.
“God started ordering my footsteps,” Sholar told Making Headline News during a July 2020 interview. “God started blessing my bank accounts with an overflow of money, an overflow of business. He started multiplying (my resources). Each time I had to spent (money), He would triple it. My business started blooming, and I started investing in more businesses. Whatever God told me to do, I did it without hesitation.”
Even in the wake of arguably the biggest scare of her life, though, God had ultimately provided her a massive way of escape.
In August 2018, Sholar’s then-12-year-old daughter, Miyah Landers, was rushed to a hospital after sustaining severe burns to several limbs of her body, including to her entire back.
The teen had admittedly participated in the Fire Challenge with friends at her home after seeing it online.
“Don’t do it because it’s not worth it,” Landers told WPSD Local, a Southfield, Michigan NBC affiliate. “It’s just not worth it.”
Sholar said her daughter had sustained severe burns from “her knees to her hair,” and was left fighting for her life.

“She was on life support,” Sholar said of her daughter’s horrifying encounter. “She had 21 surgeries, 18 blood transfusions and, and two plasmas.”
All things considered, God not only restored Landers’ healing, but He miraculously restored unto Sholar and her family the peace that surpasses understanding.
Given the assortment of life-altering trials and tribulations about which she’s had to endure, now we know why she’s been strategically set aside for God’s use to help enrich and enhance the lives of others.
First in Michigan. Now in Texas.
“I feel sharing my story with others will motivate them and give them the strength and faith needed to get to them to next level of greatness,” Sholar said of her proverbial tragedy to triumph experience. “I was once that person, homeless with children, no help, no support, mentally and physically abused, left for dead after I was beaten with a two-by-four with nails…beaten in front of my children, my daughter being on fire from her knees to her hair, my husband being killed.
“The things we’ve encounter in life are lessons and blessings,” Sholar continued. “Everything I’ve been through has strengthen me. I take my anger out on success, which is why I want to inspire people all over the world. I want people to know behind every successful person is a long story to tell.”
Interestingly, Sholar said plans are in the works to taking her life coaching expertise on tour, during which she will travels to various states to teach people how to start their own tax business while giving them the essential tools needed to make a six-figure income.
“Then I will (travel) internationally, sharing my story with others.”
Given the immeasurable strides she’s made in recent years, no one should be surprised by such a monumental forthcoming feat by this new Texas resident who never gave up.
