I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned. But time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NIV)
BLESS THE LORD, OH MY SOUL
As far as Constance Woulard was concerned, she had withheld her life-altering testimony long enough.
Suddenly, she sensed the season had finally emerged, during which she knew full well it was apart of divine purpose to disclose to the masses the miraculous turnaround God had bestowed upon her life.
“After speaking on tour, telling my story of struggling with obesity for 47 years, inspired by the Holy Spirit, I realized a need to go deeper,” said Woulard, recalling the memorable developments surrounding the production of her featured book project. “People need to know and understand how sabotaging behaviors affect and often hinder our personal development into becoming our best self.
“The layers that we form — i.e., defense mechanisms — and the walls we surround ourselves with to protect ourselves from hurt, trauma, mistreatment, guilt, and shame, prevent us from living on purpose.”

Fortunately for Woulard, she can boldly profess the notion that she’s undoubtedly living a life filled with nothing short of purpose, as the Montgomery, Alabama author details in The Invisible Soul, her highly-anticipated anthology that will debut this summer.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes’ International Leadership Summit May 4-6 in Orlando, Woulard, a global keynote speaker, moderator, visionary leader, and 12-time bestselling author spoke at length about what inspired her to spearhead a collaborative book that has created a fervent buzz around various message boards and social media platforms since word spread about her newly-released project.
SET ASIDE FOR GOD’S USE
According to Woulard, the vision for hosting The Invisible Soul surfaced in September 2021 following a speaking appearance at the Shaw Fair Leadership Experience Tour in Detroit.
Woulard launched the call for collaborating authors in Spring 2021. Consequently, the actual project began the following year as 12 collaborating authors elected to join The Invisible Soul, each of whom have disclosed a great deal of transparency in telling stories of being invisible, in large part because of what they collectively describe as “sabotaging behaviors.”
Woulard’s anthology project was completed in January and is expected to be released in June.
“My message is that we are all pre-ordained for success,” said Woulard, when asked what is the divine message she’s aiming to send to her reading audience through her featured book. “It does not matter where you come from, your family dynamics, past trauma and issues, God can and will take your mess and use it to bless. Personal blessings are not only yourself, but also a source to bless others.”
To the coauthors’ credit, The Invisible Soul has garnered a rash of favorable feedback in recent months.
“(People have told me this book will help them with) the relationship between revelation and healing and that we must first recognize our issues, struggles, challenges, and past trauma,” Woulard told MHN. “(They said) we then must reveal in order to heal.”
PURPOSE PUSHER
Woulard made her ceremonious authorship debut when she became a contributing author for Trailblazers Who Lead, a 175-page anthology that made its official release in June 2020. Consequently, she has collaborated with at least two more anthologies in what undoubtedly has been a banner year for the Corporate America professional-turned-author: Sister Leaders with Karen Pruden, a joint authorship project that is scheduled to be released in October 2021, and Unleashing My Undeniable Impact, a collaboration with the legendary Les Brown, which debuted in November 2021.
Also, in 2021, Woulard was one of 90 authors who had joined forces to produce Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by St. Mary’s, Georgia-based International Motivational Speaker and Bestselling Author Carleeka Basnight-Menendez.
LEADING THE CHARGE
Now, she said, the time is nearing during which she will orchestrate her very own anthology, one that figures to be as good as advertised once it makes its ceremonious release in the coming weeks.
“This book is only the beginning for me,” said Woulard, who announced that her next collaboration book project, a prayer and praise guide entitled, Purposeful Prayer and Praise, is forthcoming. “I have learned that I must live on purpose, as well as live with a purpose. My God-given talent is to educate, elevate, and empower others.”
Much to her delight, she’s doing just that, as evidenced by the fervent buzz surrounding an anthology that figures to be as good as advertised.
