Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments. As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion, for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. (Psalm 133:1-3 NIV)
MEN ON PAUSE AND TUNE IN
Pastor Robert Cockfield and Daniel J. Williams are holding it down — and, of course, keeping it real — courtesy of a newly-established podcast.
These two mighty men of valor are the co-hosts of Men On Pause, a rising empowerment platform that is centered largely on candidly discussing issues related to all thing’s manhood.
A podcast that was originally started in mid-April, Men On Pause is powered by longtime and well-respected Alabama philanthropist Dr. Constance Woulard of the Speak Easy Podcast and airs every Friday at 9 p.m. CST via Facebook Live and YouTube.

“The topic came out of relationships of the past, whether it was being a child without guidance,” Tracy Farr, a spokesperson for the Men On Pause, told Making Headline News this week as part of its 2023 Essence Music Festival advance coverage leading to the “the party with a purpose” event June 29-July 3 in New Orleans.
As Cockfield and Williams explained, one of the biggest reasons for a Men On Pause podcast that is figures to emerge as one of the finest of its kind is that their platform will strategically address a variety of relationship-enhancing topics.
“(We will address) relationships that were silenced in communication and past relationships between men and women, (subjects) which, can affect a global cause,” Cockfield said. Some of these topics reflect on coming out of a divorce and how to keep a positive relationship to save the family and remain friends knowing when the seasons have changed.”
Added Williams: “It also focuses on addictions, the behaviors that take place because of the lies we tell and never consulted God in the first place about marriage or relationships period.”
In essence, Cockfield and Williams emphasized, among other things, Men On Pause is purposed primary as a platform where God customarily gets the glory and where men can become more “open and honest” about leading their families and the community to be better stewards of whom God had called us to be.
