TRUSTING THE PROCESS

LANCASTER, Texas — As far as emerging as a progressive, flourishing entrepreneur goes, Ricky Harder doesn’t shy away from the notion that he controls his own destiny.
“(What I like most about my business) is taking charge and being in self-control of my destiny,” Harder told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
The business to which Harder is alluding is his fervent rise as Dallas/Fort Worth-area claims coordinator and mastermind behind an E-commerce endeavor.
A business venture that is in its infancy stages, Harder emphasized, among other things, he’s steadfastly devising ways to enhance his immeasurable gifts through his newly-established entrepreneurial concept.

According to an article via TechTarget.com, E-commerce — which suitably stands for electronic commerce — is the buying and selling of goods and services or the transmitting of funds or data over an electronic network, primarily the internet. Generally, these business transactions occur either as business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), consumer-to-consumer, or consumer-to-business.
Moreover, the terms “e-commerce” and “e-business” are often used interchangeably. The term e-tail is often used in reference to the transactional processes that make up online retail shopping.
In the last two decades, for instance, a widespread use of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and eBay have contributed to substantial growth in online retail, according to the TechTarget.com report. And, in 2011, E-commerce accounted for roughly five percent of total retail sales, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Interestingly enough, by 2020 — particularly with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic — it had risen to over 16 percent of retail sales, the report cites.
So how exactly does E-commerce work?
According to TechTarget.com, E-commerce is powered largely by the internet. That means customers customarily access an online store to browse through and place orders for products or services via their own devices.
