DALLAS — There is no other way to put it.
Tonya Maldonado absolutely loves fashion.
So much, in fact, that this accomplished businesswoman thought it essential some 14-plus years ago to start up a business venture geared largely toward that about which she is so passionate.
A native of Dallas who currently resides in New Orleans, Maldonado is owner and CEO of Lady T Fashions And Accessories, a credible online fashion boutique establishment that offers an assortment of clothing and fashionable jewelry, most notable day to evening attire all at reasonably affordable prices.
“Customers know that they can get some one-of-a-kind pieces,” Maldonado, 49, told Making Headline News this week. “And those pieces can put them in a fashion class of their own.”
A national register medical assistant as well as a national register phlebotomist, Maldonado acknowledged that the notable concept for erecting her online business was spearheaded by the familiar Biblical passage that is Song of Solomon 4:7.
It reads: You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.
To her distinct credit, Maldonado — in explaining the purpose for her business — deemed it necessary to elaborate more on what has become one of her favorite Biblical verses.
“My drive for this business is that I love fashion,” Maldonado said. “I just think that if you look good and feel good, you will do good. And seeing that I had a part in up lifting someone’s confidence makes me feel good.”
A business that officially opened for operations in 2003, Maldonado’s Lady T Fashion And Accessories prides itself not just off the featured Biblical verse by which she has adopted, but Maldonado’s continuous success has surfaced largely because she is routinely afforded the golden opportunity to inspire women, particularly as it relates to teaching them to truly understand their natural beauty.

“The purpose of Lady T Fashions And Accessories is to show that we are all beautiful in God’s eyesight,” Maldonado said. “Whether it be man, woman, or child, feeling extraordinary no matter what fashions they desire or wear it makes you feel good and work good while looking good and doing good in every aspect of life.”
Although her business is nearing 15 years of existence, Maldonado, believe it or not, has been actively engaged in fashion ever since she was a child.
Ever since she was five years, as she tells it.
“The fashion of the business “Fashionista” started at the age of five when she was a little girl watching her mother get dress,” Maldonado explained. “The love for shoes, hand bags, and bringing jewelry is what set her fashion senses off and flowing. This business was a product of a mother that wanted to be home with her three kids and was tired and wanted out of the Corporate America world.”
Given the immense strides she has made since her the inception of her business, it’s safe to assume that not only has Lady T Fashion And Accessories evolved as a popular online store, but it appears that Maldonado’s best and brightest days as an entrepreneur are well ahead of her.
“This one-of-a-kind online and traveling fashion powerhouse is customer-friendly and offer complementary amenities such as special orders, one-on-one private fashion consultation, fashion shows, and we host group events and new items event promotion,” Maldonado said.
Talk about altogether beautiful.
There is no other way to put it.
