To his credit, Tony Jackson allows viewers access to the daily life of a Pastor, who’s struggling with being a manfirst and foremost, and then a Pastor.
Randolph, as Jackson explained during a recent interview with Making Headline News, is under a constant monitoring by people around him, considering he’s eager to do what this producers deems as “regular things,” thus become actively engaged in having fun without being bound by the “Bishop” title that he carries.
“He is a young Bishop and feels he has been bottled, because of the title, and the expectations of people.” Tony Jackson said of Bishop Randolph, who’s characterized by rising actor Mynoris Woods.

The young lady he’s diligently pursuing is up-and-coming actress Sweetrica Baker, who plays “Kelly” in this newly-produced film. The other main character is “Aunt Julie” (Kelly’s Aunt), who’s original name is Mrs. Mary White.
Surely, while the “The Story Of Randolph” figures to be an intriguing and informative movie, MHN deemed it essential to speak with other cast members of the Jacksons’ forthcoming project.

MHN: What production company did you partner with on this movie?
TONY JACKSON: I’m glad you asked. We went with one of the dopest film makers out of Nashville named Victoria Jones. Her company is VaJones Films, In addition to VaJones, she brought on All-Star editor/film crew member Clarence Scott of CScottRun Productions. Additionally, they flew in another bright mind from Nashville: Kevin Mumphrey of Kevin Mumphrey MumphreyProductionsLLC, who also does production and sound. And my wife, Monica R. Jackson, and myself are co-directors, and together, we makeup Jackson4CompaniesLLC. This is a dynamic team. They have been a part of a lot of major projects over the years, including the show, “Nashville.”
MHN: What do you like most about being an actress and playing the role of Kelly?
SWEETRICA BAKER: I enjoy becoming the character. I have always had an appreciation for the arts. It has always been a part of my life in one form or another. My mother always desired for me to do something in modeling, but for years, I was self-conscious about my body and even my skin, so I settled for acting classes in my youth. As I have grown older and learned to appreciate life and the various ways we live it, I have learned to embrace my curves and everything about me that makes me different from everyone else. As an actress, you get to step outside of yourself and become someone else. It is easy for me to feel what my character is feeling, but at some point I was there, too. I understand Kelly not wanting to be burned, especially by a man of the cloth. When you are attached to a messenger of God’s word, you are voluntarily exposed to other’s judgments constantly. The man, not the minister, can’t show that he is fallible. The woman attached to him seems to be held accountable for not only his public image, but her’s and everyone attached to them. I can’t image every first lady’s burden.

MHN: Mynoris Woods, or Bishop if I may ask, What do you like most about being an actor and playing the role of Randolph?
MYNORIS WOODS: It allows me to formulate and understanding for my character and to actually bring my character to life. And playing Randolph in the movie is nothing short of a blessing. It is amazing to play a role that’s so many people and so many clergy individuals have had to deal with on a daily basis, being judged just because they are a man or woman of the cloth. I love playing Randolph. It is one of the most exciting roles I’ve ever had in my life it actually reminds me of myself — LOL — but don’t tell no one.
MHN: What are amongst the age groups to whom your endeavor caters to?
MONICA JACKSON: I think we are attempting to cater to everyone, but putting a special focus on the church goers, people of faith, or anyone that puts people on pedestals knowingly or unknowingly. People in these positions are people first and their title second. They are watched so closely and are stressed a lot of times because they feel they are on that line.
MHN: In your own words, why is it imperative that you esteem and inspire others daily?
TONY JACKSON: Because life is hard. Literally every day, you have to get up and choose to be happy. Happy to me is a mindset. Very simple way I look at it. I control my feelings. If I’m happy, I’m happy, if I’m sad, I’m sad. As it relates to most things, if you say you’re going to do something, simply because you tried, you’ve succeeded. Failure is no such thing. But you’ll have to read all about that in my book, “The Fair Shot That Was Never Given.”

“I want to provide a quintessential service to my community and other communities worldwide,” Muhammad, an OKC Northeast High School graduate, said, explaining his purpose for his organization, which accommodates people 25 years of age and up. “(I love) putting smiles on the faces and bringing excitement to dignitaries, educators and supporting staff.”

“While in high school, I was one of the leaders who started a step team and made it apart of the curriculum,” Witt explained. “We were the first black step team at Martin High School. After high school, I worked full time at an insurance company and went to Tarrant County Community College, (where) I was doing auditions for plays.”
A notable resume that also includes being a contestant in the Miss Black Texas pageant — she actually won the talent portion, largely because of her immeasurable acting skills — Witt eventually would become a founding member of the Beta Phi Chi Sorority/Fraternity that was spearheaded by Dennis Dotson.
Interestingly, she had become a fixture in the “What Should A Sista Do?” stage play.
For Witt, whose entrepreneurship expertise spans more than three decades — she initially adopted the business concept in junior high school, she recalls — it’s safe to assume that she had been destined to go into business for herself.
All things considered, Witt’s wealth of experience as a successful businesswoman has benefited her mightily throughout the years.

Never mind that a rash of stumbling blocks had essentially given way to her enduring an unlikely hiatus from her business.
“After a divorce, I let my business go after five years and I got back into the corporate world and went to school for taxes,” Witt said.

In order to better aid and promote her organization — particularly on national platforms — Scott Jackson has announced that she and her staff will be launching a Keeping Families mobile app, which is scheduled to go into effect as early as June 1, 2019 during its Third Annual Creations of Fashion For A Cause Runway Show.
This yearly event, Scott Jackson said, is designed for children from various walks of life, particularly teens and young adults from Keeping Families Connected, during which they will participate in modeling, as well as meet and interact with professional models.
In order for better aid and promote her organization — particularly on national platforms — Scott Jackson has announced that she and her staff will be launching a Keeping Families mobile app, which is scheduled to go into effect as early as June 1, 2019 during its Third Annual Creations of Fashion For A Cause Runway Show.
For Scott Jackson, the startup of her organization comes amid arguably the darkest chapter of her life.
“I couldn’t see my kids, because they were left with caregivers, who couldn’t afford to bring them to see them,” said Scott Jackson, recalling the tumultuous developments that fueled her desire to establish her nonprofit. “My daughters were in Louisiana and I was in Texas.”
Still, after the dust had ultimately settled and Scott Jackson had emerged victorious by winning her case, it wasn’t long thereafter that God had emphatically showed her why He had entrusted her to endure, yet conquer so much heartache and pain, both of which she emphatically outlasted.
Look at her today, walking fervently in her purpose as an accomplished businesswoman, who’s also widely known as a published author, public speaker, musician, and humanitarian.
To her credit, she birthed Keeping Families Connected out of “a personal desire,” one that would enable her to customarily make meaningful contributions to the lives of those who are incarcerated while being separated an extended period time from family members.
MAKING MUCH NOISE — Interestingly and to her credit, Scott Jackson’s Keeping Families Connected is, by all accounts, an effective institution, considering it’s also committed to rebuilding families and fostering life skills in youth and young adults from broken homes, Scott Jackson emphasized.
“Ever since (she was wrongfully convicted), she wants to spread the hope of redemption and connection one interaction, a letter to an inmate, and one prison visit at a time,” said a spokesperson for Scoot Jackson’s organization. “She also has a passion for speaking to youth and young adults about making the best choices now based on her own past experiences. She has been blessed to build several businesses and mentor students and members of her church to define their own success.”

COMING FULL CIRCLE
SEASON OF THE REBIRTH — To her credit, Scott Jackson birthed Keeping Families Connected out of “a personal desire,” one that would enable her to customarily make meaningful contributions to the lives of those who are incarcerated while being separated an extended period time from family members.
“My life’s trials and tribulations set me up for this journey,” Scott said. “I lost my mom, my dad, and my only son to death, and I really feel that God was removing all of my leaning posts so that I could find my connection and my calling in life and, more so, to help me maximize my potential.”
To her credit, she’s doing just that.
And, what’s remarkably astounding is that she’s nowhere out of order.
Not by a long shot.

DALLAS — Just a few days ago, Dr. Ronald S Hobson, Sr. found himself reminiscing, among other things, about how his family had gone about making peace with Jesus Christ.
Without question, it was arguably the best discovery of his young life.
As Dr. Hobson — a Boston-area pastor who’s widely known as Bishop Hobson — explained, it all unfolded sometime after the tragic death of grandmother, during which his family consequently attended the historic Jefferson Temple Church of God In Christ in nearby North Bellport, New York.
Ironically, Bishop Hobson’s mother, Geraldine Scott, had accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, thus setting off what apparently was a spiritual domino effect throughout the Hobson household.
ON GOD’S BATTLEFIELD
GOD’S MIGHTY SPOKESPERSON — A ministerial calling that spans approximately three decades, Ronald S. Hobson is the Senior Pastor at The Reconstruction Church.
“It was after she accepted Christ that our journey as a family into the Christian faith began,” Bishop Hobson told Making Headline News this week.

Despite the notion that being raised with eight brothers and sisters were both “amazing and discouraging” at times, Bishop Hobson is especially appreciative of the fact this his mother had raised her children to the best way she knew how, though he acknowledged that growing up in what he deems “an improvised community” had its share of challenges.
“Like any other inner-city, I was introduced to many vises and avenues that were not ideal and economically friendly,” Bishop Hobson recalls. “I had to do what I had to do to survive.”
Regardless, amongst the notable factors with which this young preacher had come to grips was that only what he does for Christ will last. So realistically, there was no running from the calling and purpose for which he was created.
MOM KNOWS BEST — For Bishop Hobson, witnessing his mother surrender to God proved to be defining moment, of sorts, for an accomplished preacher whose keen reputation is such that he customarily exemplifies having a heart for people. God’s people, to be more direct.
“The amazing part of everything was that the church became my outlet and focus,” Bishop Hobson explained. “The more I attended, the more comfortable I grew to accept this Jesus my pastor so eloquently shared through his preaching and teachings. The church became my focal point for change. My pastor took the time to teach me all he could for me to become someone or something in life. He poured into me daily values and practices of clean, godly living. He wanted to ensure that I made godly decisions in life.”
All of which practically sums up why this young preacher from a rural town on Long Island has been set aside for God’s use, all the while steadily having a massive impact in advancing the kingdom for such a time as now.
Never mind that according to Bishop Hobson, the awe-inspiring events that had ultimately given way to his divine call to ministry weren’t merely easy, he often recalls.

“Remembering the day when my pastor laid his hands on me, he shared with me a dream I had the night before,” Bishop Hobson recalled. “The Lord knew what He showed me in my dream, but my pastor’s prophetic discernment by The Spirit of God was led to share the dream. He said, ‘Son, God has called you to preach.’ After that, I hit the floor – slain in The Spirit.”
He’s been slain in The Spirit ever since.
He hasn’t looked back ever since.
Credit the fact that He’s been sold out to God ever since.

“Accepting what God allowed was my new momentum and vision focus,” Bishop Hobson said of his well-publicized ministerial career. “I felt secure in knowing Chrissy was in the safest arms. I knew I had to continue to preach the Good News. I’ve learned that through the course of healing that I have to love and not hate…press to impress Christ and live the best life I could for Him, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone, not even me.”

LEAST WE FORGET
REMEMBERING HIS PREDICESSORS — Having succeeded the late Superintendent Elijah Kelley Jr., who passed away on November 19, 2016 at the age of 54, Taylor has made immeasurable strides since assuming Senior Pastor duties and, much to his delight, his congregation has unquestionably and gracefully received him in the process.
If nothing else, it seemed that such a downtrodden and gloomy season of his life only impressed upon the heart of his Creator to come after him the more. So much so that this young, gifted preacher from the “SIP” (a historic abbreviation for Mississippi) had no choice but to do away with his potentially dead-end addiction, thus pick up his cross and obey God’s specific commands that included, among other things, leading His people for such a time as now.
Because at the end of the real day, Taylor was taught, more than anything, that only what you do for Christ will last.
AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART
Armed with well over three decades of experience in the ministry, Taylor is especially appreciative of the valiant and unyielding support of Elect Lady Tangela Taylor, his wife of 15 years, who serves alongside him in ministry.
Here he is today, functioning mightily in his element as the chief executive officer of one of the most longstanding ministries in Dallas/Fort Worth which, to his credit, is a far cry from those days back home in Mississippi, where the adversary sensed he had Taylor right where he wanted him.

A BUT GOD MOMENT — There is, in fact, a variety of reasons Terrie Ann Polk has deemed it essential to take a stance against domestic violence amongst men and women, most notably in the soon-to-be-released book entitled, ““I Am A Black Woman, Volume 2.” For starters, Polk has been victimized by domestic violence and unhealthy relationships which, in essence, has often left her questioning her identity, not to mention her very existence.
DALLAS — Terrie Ann Polk was in the mood to spread some good cheer Thursday morning.
Hastening to her Facebook page, Polk staged to her timeline some rather favorable, inspiring pleasantries to her male counterparts.
Polk erected to her social media page a black and red image that was accompanied by a red heart, which read: “Hey, Black Man, I Love You.”
Much to her delight, it’s safe to assume that Polk’s male counterparts likewise have much love for her, considering how as a strong, black woman, she can greatly attest to the importance of being strong, particularly when being strong is virtually her only choice.
“My message is for woman and men to stop the violent…to get help and split up if you have to fight,” Polk told Making Headline News this week.
“I Am A Black Woman, Volume 2” addresses a variety of pertinent topics, most notably surviving divorce, sexual and physical abuse, broken identity, and mental illness, among other subjects.
There is, in fact, a variety of reasons Polk has deemed it essential to take a stance against domestic violence amongst men and women, most notably in the soon-to-be-released book entitled, “I Am A Black Woman, Volume 2.”

“I have gotten good and bad feedback,” Polk, who holds a Bachelor Degree in Business, said. “Women have been helped with my story.”

DALLAS — Earlier this week, Debra Kay was going on and on about her immeasurable, compelling gifts as an accomplished author.
Truth be told, she’s earned every right to.
“I am usually writing two or three books at a time, as I am right now,” Kay told Making Headline News. “It does not usually take me any longer than six months to start and finish a book. Things are a little bit hectic being a grandmother, but very rewarding.”
Having written 10 books to date, Kay’s featured project is entitled, “The Woman On The Inside Is Greater Than The Woman You See,” an informative, spiritually gut-checking written document she officially released in December 2010.
An authorship tenure that spans a little more than a decade, Kay’s initial book had come full circle in September 2006, approximately four years after she steadfastly exercised her faith to produce it.
AFTER GOD’S OWN HEART — Since delving off into the ever-so-competitive world of authorship, the general consensus amongst Kay’s book is that she’s undoubtedly an accomplished and brilliant author, one who doesn’t shy away from the notion that she’s on fire for God.
“God gave me the vision to write this book in the summer of 2002,” Kay said. “I started this book with the title at the end of 2006. I completed this book in September of 2007.”
As Kay emphasized, it is a book — though it has been on the market for quite some time — she’s aiming to reintroduce to the general public, in large part because “The Woman On The Inside Is Greater Than The Woman You See” is just as prevalent today than it was when it made it ceremonious debut in 2010.
“The single most important reason I chose to write this book is because I have been underneath the feet of people since I was a young person,” Kay explained. “I am a survivor of depression, suicidal thoughts, inferior toward others, and very low self-esteem, which I believe runs in my family with many of the women.”
For what it’s worth, however, Kay’s featured book has brought about renewed sense of enthusiasm for this Martinsville, Virginia-area author, both in the natural and the spirit.
“This book is produced to allow women to know that the greater one is on the inside,” said Kay, who’s widely known also as a Christian-based Life Coach. “You can be beautiful on the outside, but still jacked up on the inside without Christ. When He indwells in you, you are enough.”
Thanks in large part to her life-changing connection with Jesus, Kay not only rediscovered her God-given worth but, more than anything, she’s managed connect with the purpose for which she was created.
“It took many years even after salvation for me to know my worth,” Kay said. “Two bad marriages and I am still single, but at least now I have the wisdom to know what a good man is. I have gained clarity on my worth and it is tied to Jesus, not to a natural man. The book talks about the different stages of my life and how I overcame (them). There is a greater book coming even after this. The half has not been told of my story yet.”
Speaking of “greater” books, Kay is responsible for having produced nine other written works, her latest that is entitled, “How To Walk Out Your Salvation With The Lord Jesus Christ,” which was released in October 2015.
