Simona Badger’s S Badger Empowerment and Consulting Services, LLC is nothing short of brilliant

WOMAN ON THE MOVE

MAKING MAJOR MOVES — Simona Badger’s S Badger Empowerment and Consulting Services, LLC, a credible, progressive Newark, New Jersey-based venture that customarily provides what is known as culturally sensitive, trauma focused psychotherapy, and professional education to the communities she serves.

DALLAS — To her distinctly unique credit, Simona Badger can be appropriately described as an empowerment extradionaire.

Consider, for instance, how Badger had gone about establishing S Badger Empowerment and Consulting Services, LLC, a credible, progressive Newark, New Jersey-based venture that customarily provides what is known as culturally sensitive, trauma focused psychotherapy, and professional education to the communities she serves.
“I’ve always known as a child that I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives,” Badger, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining how her competitive drive in life has greatly propelled her for her business venture.
“Growing up, I was interested in social issues such as inequality, women’s rights, and racism. Starting my own business gave me the freedom to serve my community on a deeper level than if I was working for someone. A lot of the things that I accomplished in my life — degrees, marriage, children, business and finding my purpose — are all things I wanted to achieve before I turned 40.”

Because of the purpose for which God has created her, Badger has accomplished that and more — this for a thriving, 39-year-old businesswoman.

Armed with over a decade of experience in her chosen industry — most notably through treating survivors of domestic and sexual violence — Badger’s mission is centered largely on (but isn’t limited to) educating and supporting teens and adults about unhealthy relationships.

Interestingly, her upcoming book will provide a more in-depth and strategic emphasis on assisting teens and young adults, particularly with regards to healing from unhealthy relationships.

“Simona believes that her gift is to educate and support as many lives plagued by inter-generational and trans- generational trauma, and she believes her work would be incomplete unless she is able to give back to her native country (Jamaica) through her volunteering work,” said a spokesperson for Badger’s S Badger Empowerment and Consulting Services LLC.

Much to her delight, Badger will be afforded the golden opportunity to share with the masses her longstanding mission through her organization when she host the Changing The Language of Men’s Health Conference on June 22, at Newark’s Source of Knowledge Bookstore, located at 867 Broad Street.

A conference that will be highlighted by what organizers have dubbed, “Real Talk With A Dynamic Panel Of Men,” tickets for this event can be purchased by calling 973.392.9473 or by paying via PayPal at: http://paypal.me/simonabadger.

“The reason why I’m hosting this conference and focusing on men’s mental health is because for far too long, men have suffered in silence, which has negatively impacted families and communities,” Badger said. “I grew up seeing how toxic masculinity affected males in my own family of origin. I remember seeing the males in my family drink away their problems, gamble away their money and date multiple women at a time due to being stressed.”

For what it’s worth, she credits her immeasurable experiences as a foster care caseworker and New York City Administration for Children Services clinical consultant through The Child Center of New York for her notable accomplishments of becoming what she refers to as a “momprenuer,” as well as a psychotherapist, educator, and advocate.

SAVE THE DATE

Her empowerment and consulting firm, in fact, provides holistic mental health treatment, as well as prevention and education services to women, men, families, children and adolescents, and under-served populations affected by health disparities, trauma, self-identity issues and poverty.

Widely regarded as a compassionate, professional and culturally competent therapist, who provides what it known as a “strengths based” perspective to therapy, Badger strongly believes that in working together through a trusting collaborative relationship, one can gain support to alleviate emotional pain and begin the journey of self-acceptance.

To her credit, her extensive experience includes — but isn’t limited to — helping clients with traumatic experiences, divorce, relationship problems, sleep problems, grief, work-related stress, family stress, and immigration concerns, among others.

A native of Jamaica (West Indies), Badger Simona Badger attended Ferncourt High School in her native establishment before reuniting with her parents in the United States at 15 years of age.

Consequently, she attended Harry S. Truman High in the Bronx, New York, where and graduated in 1998.

MAKING IMMEASURABLE STRIDES

For what it’s worth, Badger credits her immeasurable experiences as a foster care caseworker and New York City Administration for Children Services clinical consultant through The Child Center of New York for her notable accomplishments of becoming what she refers to as a “momprenuer,” as well as a psychotherapist, educator, and advocate.

Badger advanced her education at Herbert H. Lehman College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology (she minored in Black Studies) in 2003.

Then in 2008, she earned a Master of Social Work Degree from Fordham University. During her graduate studies, she majored in Clinical social Work with a certification in Law and Social Work Practice.

Interestingly, in 2013, Badger completed a post-graduate program at New Jersey Institute for Psychoanalysis-Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Certificate Program in nearby Teaneck.

“I love empowering people to reach their full potential,” Badger said. “We are all resilient, but that’s easily forgotten when we are going through hard times.”

Dallas/Fort Worth businesswoman Crystal N. Tolbert ‘Walking In Greatness’ — literally and figuratively

She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. (Proverbs 31:17 NIV)

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

ON A KINGDOM MISSION — As Crystal N. Tolbert explained during a recent interview with Making Headline News, her mission — and “responsibility” — for establishing her featured endeavor is to customarily offer create a strategic, effective platform, one that would help change the mindset, impact, lead, and prepare what she describes as “the jewels” (or women) for their own legacy, so they can, in turn, walk in complete greatness in the kingdom.

DALLAS — As far as the above Biblical passage goes, say this about Crystal Nicole Tolbert:

She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
In that distinctly unique order.
Consider, for instance, how Tolbert, a progressive, flourishing and devout woman of faith, had go about assuming her strategic, God-mandated assignment as the founder of Walking In Greatness Ministries, a Dallas/Fort Worth-based, faith-oriented ministry and social organization.
As Tolbert, 39, explained during a recent interview with Making Headline News, her mission — and “responsibility” — for establishing her featured endeavor is to customarily offer a strategic, effective platform, one that would help change the mindset, impact, lead, and prepare what she describes as “the jewels” (or women) for their own legacy, so they can, in turn, walk in complete greatness in the kingdom.

“Our desire is to help woman find their value, purpose, joy, independence, and the true meaning of happiness to prepare them for their destiny to fully walk in greatness,” said Tolbert, providing a detailed synopsis of her ministry.

And then there is Tolbert’s “Woman of Greatness Jewels of Destiny,” a mentorship program that essentially falls under her ministry’s umbrella, whereby it customarily prepares and equips individuals to fully recognize their life’s purpose, particularly by gaining knowledge, support, and development needed to ignite their passions, gifts, and talents as an effective way to make a massive impact on the world.

“This (program) provides a Biblical, yet practical approach to living your life in purpose, on purpose,” Tolbert said.

An endeavor that accommodates individuals ranging mostly in ages 25 to 60, Tolbert credits what she deems a “kingdom creative for people who are ready to live a kingdom purpose life” as arguably the biggest reason she’s been blessed to oversee a Christian-based business for such a time as now.

“(I’m) continually gaining obtaining and acquiring the knowledge and skills required to have as a kingdom entrepreneur with ministry in the market place,” said Tolbert, explaining how her competitive drive in life has greatly enabled her to assemble a notable business. “I called it ‘Exit To The Platform.’”

As one of God’s “leading jewels and mentors” Tolbert has been afforded the luxury of promoting Walking in Greatness Ministries in a variety of establishments around the country, most notably Los Angeles, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Las Vegas, and Atlanta, among others.

“I really want to be able to impact and bring forth what God has place in them,” Tolbert, a Lufkin, Texas native said explaining the mission of her ministry. “It is so important to me that Jewels of Destiny are left with something of real value. I was called to be a dream changer because I have the gift to make dreams reality for the kingdom.”

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM

More than anything, though, Tolbert’s kingdom-based assignment is centered largely on her being an anointed woman of God, one who will ceremoniously take a much-anticipated massive step toward her destiny when she is officially installed as a Pastor at Restored IV Purpose Ministries Sunday in nearby Farmers Branch, Texas. Pictured with Tolbert is her husband, Kenneth Tolbert.

A Lufkin High School and Angelina College alum, Tolbert is widely known as a devoted wife, mother, author, prophetic scribe, and speaker.

More than anything, though, her kingdom-based assignment is centered largely on her being an anointed woman of God, one who will ceremoniously take a much-anticipated massive step toward her destiny when she is officially installed as a Pastor at Restored IV Purpose Ministries Sunday in nearby Farmers Branch, Texas.

Restored IV Purpose Ministries is located at 13624 Gamma Road.

Her itinerary also includes:

An upcoming speaking engagement in St Thomas at the Emerald Beach Resort, a Prophetic Scribe Workshop on August 3 in Los Angeles, and an appearance during the Joyful Moments Prayer Brunch on August 24 at Red Oak Municipal Center.

Armed with more than 15 years of experience in her selected line of work, Tolbert doesn’t shy away from the notion that God’s Hands have been on her life for as long as she can recall.

All of which essentially sums up why she sets about her work vigorously and her arms are strong for her tasks.

DESTINY STEPS — Tolbert’s “Woman of Greatness Jewels of Destiny” is mentorship program that’s essentially falls under her ministry’s umbrella, whereby it customarily prepares and equips individuals to fully recognize their life’s purpose, particularly by gaining knowledge, support, and development needed to ignite their passions, gifts, and talents as an effective way to make a massive impact on the world.

In that distinctly unique order.

“I want (people) to be able to be so inspired from what I share that they go back to their own various lives and put forth the action to make their dreams their own reality,” Tolbert said before offering what she labels kingdom tools to live by.

“Seek, write, and believe,” she continued. “You must seek the Lord first. Write the vision. Believe the Vision.”

To her credit, she’s doing that, with God, her Helper, steering the way.

Alabama preacher Tamika D. Pharr goes from ‘thug girl’ lifestyle to selling out solely to Jesus Christ

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

SOLD OUT ON JESUS

BEAUTY FOR ASHES — Aside from overseeing the day-to-day operations of a credible business, Tamika D. Pharr is Mobile-area minister as the beloved Co-Pastor of Tabernacle of Praise Church, a tradition-rich, historic institution that also has a campus in Richmond, California.

DALLAS — Tamika D. Pharr could be appropriately described as a number of things.

For starters, she’s an accomplished businesswoman as a resourceful sales consultant with Paparazzi, a globally-acclaimed venture that’s widely known for offering consumers fashion-forward jewelry and product parties.

She’s a proud mother of two, a grandmother of three, and a mother-in-“love” to whom she often describes as a “beautiful young lady.”
More than anything, though, Pharr would be the first to tell you that she’s devout woman of faith, one’s who deems it essential to go to great lengths to proclaim the matchless Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Never mind that this Mobile, Alabama native was raised in what the urban community has dubbed the School of Hard Knocks.
“I had a rough upbringing. But God,” Pharr, 43, told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “(I’ve) seen a lot, heard a lot, done a lot. But God.”

MORE ON TABERNACLE OF PRAISE: https://www.facebook.com/Tabernacle-of-Praise-Church-of-Mobile-Alabama-Richmond-CA-845016335556713/

And because Pharr, a resourceful, resilient, spiritually-empowering minister, doesn’t shy away from the notion that God is, by all accounts, the Focal Point of her life, it’s safe to assume that life as she knows it is, well, far more superior than her rough upbringing.

Aside from overseeing the day-to-day operations of a credible business, Pharr is Mobile-area minister as the beloved Co-Pastor of Tabernacle of Praise Church, a tradition-rich, historic institution that also has a campus in Richmond, California.

Widely regarded as a Christian-centered ministry that accompanied by the slogan, “Changing The World With The Word,” Tabernacle of Praise is pastored by Apostle Timothy D. Monigan.

WOMAN OF MANY HATS — Pharr is an accomplished businesswoman as a resourceful sales consultant with Paparazzi, a globally-acclaimed venture that’s widely known for offering consumers fashion-forward jewelry and product parties.

For Pharr, that she was steadfastly brought up in the church and raised in an environment where she customarily was taught Biblical principles has proven beneficial to her, considering even to this day, she’s still very much on fire for Almighty God.

Only now, she’s serving and paying homage to Him from a much larger stage.

“My family taught me that when you learn better, you do better,” said Pharr, recalling vividly the memorable developments of her childhood. “That took a while to set in on me, because I was a thug girl, but God turned me into a church girl.”

Widely regarded as a Christian-centered ministry that accompanied by the slogan, “Changing The World With The Word,” Tabernacle of Praise is pastored by Apostle Timothy D. Monigan.

As Pharr explained, it took a relatively solid supporting cast of godly women who collectively helped steer her from the School of Hard Knocks as a “thug girl” to, well, Sunday School — pretty much on the regular.

“I have my grandmother Pruitt, (who was) an elder of love and understanding at Primitive Baptist Church until her health change and God called her home,” Pharr recalled. “My grandmother, Pauline James, plays a great big part in my life. She also helped raise me. My great grandmother, Mary Pharr, is the mother of St. Luke Church, where she’s been a member since before I was born. She is now 100 years old and her health has changed. My great aunt, Pastor Shirley Edwards and I, are the newest pastors in the family.”

For Pharr, that she was steadfastly brought up in the church and raised in an environment where she customarily was Biblical principles has proven beneficial to her, considering even to this day, she’s still very much on fire for Almighty God.

Sadly as it is to say, Pharr’s rise to becoming a full-time minister hasn’t been fully accepted by some whom she sensed would offer valiant support.

“Well, since I became pastor, a lot of family and friends have fell off, but I heard the Lord say that He will add unto me,” Pharr said without hesitation. “I saw God positioning me for ministry back in 2008 after I lost my 10-week-old baby.”

As it turned out, Pharr’s losing an unborn child essentially served a defining moment, of sorts, for this beloved, bigger-than-life thug girl-turned-woman of the cloth.

“I heard the Lord say He has need of me,” Pharr said in the wake of her dreaded miscarriage.

WE ARE FAMILY — “My family taught me that when you learn better, you do better,” said Pharr, recalling vividly the memorable developments of her childhood. “That took a while to set in on me, because I was a thug girl, but God turned me into a church girl.”

To her credit, this young preacher hasn’t looked back since.

If nothing else, she’s diligently drawn closer and closer to God which, in dramatic sequence of events, is a far cry from the proverbial thug girl life.

Having officially accepted her calling to preach the Gospel in 2011 — “I heard God call my name, using a familiar voice,” she recalls — Pharr initially sensed that it was actually her unborn baby who was calling her name.

Oddly as it might seem, she eventually heard her name called three times.

One for the Father.

One for the Son.

One for the Holy Ghost.

In that order.

As it turned out, Pharr’s losing unborn child essentially served a defining moment, of sorts, for this beloved, bigger-than-life thug girl-turned-woman of the cloth.

And if God said it, that settles it.

“My testimony is when God say go, obey His voice,” Pharr said. “I told God I didn’t want to do this. First of all, I thought I wasn’t worthy enough. Then I still wanted to sit at the bar and stay in the club.”

Still, in spite of her rebelliousness, amongst the things that Pharr had ultimately discovered is that if God has a dire need of you, He’ll find His way to the bar and club.

In no particularly order.

“One night, as I was sitting in the club, I heard a Voice so clear and I started looking around for someone,” Pharr explained. “I heard Him again, so I got up and ran out the club like I just seen a ghost.”

In essence, that’s what actually happened.

GOD’S LEADING LADY

As Pharr explained, it took a relatively solid supporting cast of godly women who collectively helped steer her from the School of Hard Knocks as a “thug girl” to, well, Sunday School — pretty much on the regular.

Only this time, it was the Holy Ghost.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

“I have been going since then,” Pharr, who plans to compose a book that depicts her life, said of having found her niche in ministry. “He called me out the club to the church, from a thug girl to a church girl.”

Which goes to show that today, she could be appropriately described as a number of things.

A beloved spokesperson for Christ topping the list.

Houston author Philandis Stovall’s recalls loving memory of her son, who wrote a book before his untimely death

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10 KJV)

VICTORIOUS REGARDLESS

MUSTARDSEED FAITH — Houston author Philandis Stovall wrote the emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work entitled, “Even Through the Storm: A Mom’s Story of Faith Amid Adversity, an awe-inspiring project that garnered a wave of media coverage since its much-anticipated release in nearly two years ago.

DALLAS — To his credit, little “Ziggy” reached his destiny before God ceremoniously called him home.

“I received the confirmation for writing my book when I was in the hospital with my son while he was having his bone marrow transplantation,” Philandis Philly Stovall told Making Headline News during a weekend interview, recalling the memorable developments that unfolded in July 2017, during which her son, Fre’Derick Leontez Young Redd III, was hospitalized at Texas Children’s Hospital after being diagnosed with cancer.
The book to which Stovall is alluding is her emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work entitled, “Even Through the Storm: A Mom’s Story of Faith Amid Adversity, an awe-inspiring project that garnered a wave of media coverage since its much-anticipated release in nearly two years ago.
A book that Stovall began composing sometime in September 2017 and needed approximately two weeks to complete, “Even Through the Storm: A Mom’s Story of Faith Admid Adversity” is a story of one mom’s journey from despair to triumph, according to detailed breakdown by Google Books.

A book that Stovall began composing sometime in September 2017 and needed approximately two weeks to complete, “Even Through the Storm: A Mom’s Story of Faith Admid Adversity” is a story of one mom’s journey from despair to triumph, according to detailed breakdown by Google Books.

In 2012, for instance, Stovall’s then four-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer. Consequently, she found herself in what she described as “a zone,” whereby all she wanted was peace and quiet.

In  no particular order.

“I was searching for sense in a situation that made no sense to me,” Stovall writes.

STAR POWER — Interestingly and much to Stovall’s delight, her book — as well as her son’s written work — has caught the attention of an array of athletes, including the Rice University football program the Houston Texans, as well as former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal.

Interestingly, alone with her wave of thoughts and emotions, Stovall desperately wanted to “wake up” from what sense was a nightmare.

Still, the Greenville, Mississippi native demonstrated enough faith to stay awake, particularly in the spirit, considering she had come to grips with the notion that what was unfolding in her young life wasn’t merely a dream.

“This was reality and she was forced with the choice of retreating into the devastation or fighting her way through the storm,” said a Google Books spokesperson for Stovall’s “Even Through the Storm: A Mom’s Story of Faith Admid Adversity.’” “Finding herself on an unexpected and unwelcome path, the young mother could feel a rebirth happening. With each day and event, she found herself growing stronger and stronger.”

In 2012, for instance, Stovall’s then four-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer. Consequently, she found herself in what she described as “a zone,” where all she wanted was peace and quiet.

Even amid her son’s unlikely diagnosis — he wasn’t born with cancer – Stovall didn’t merely have time to cope; rather, she simply had to learn to deal with it, she’s explained time and again.

Regardless, because of her spiritually resourcefulness, Stovall’s story essentially is one whereby she had to learn of rely on her faith — the kind of faith that had ultimately given way to her exemplifying hope, particularly when that about which she encountered seemed hopeless.

But God…

“I knew from the beginning of our journey we had a purpose and reason for being assigned to go through cancer treatment,” said Stovall, when asked what was the single, most underlying reason she chose to produce “Even Through the Storm: A Mom’s Story of Faith Admid Adversity.” “My handsome son wasn’t born with cancer. He was born a completely healthy baby boy.”

Still, before his health had begun to decline, Stovall miraculously aided her son mightily to fulfill his God-manifested purpose, considering “Ziggy” surprisingly wrote his very own book while in the hospital before he passed away. The title: “The Mystery of the Missing Ring,” which was published earlier this year.

The title: “The Mystery of the Missing Ring,” which was published earlier this year.

Talk about a mother and child collectively devising ways to weather arguably the toughest of adversity.

“I have gotten overwhelmingly amazing reviews and feedback on my memoir, including five-star ratings,” Stovall said. “I was told prophetically I have a bestselling book and that’s what I believe.”

Interestingly and much to Stovall’s delight, her book — as well as her son’s written work — has caught the attention of an array of athletes, including the Rice University football program the Houston Texans, as well as former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal.

Because of her spiritually resourcefulness, Stovall’s story essentially is one whereby she had to learn of rely on her faith — the kind of faith that had ultimately given way to her exemplifying hope, particularly when that about which she encountered seemed hopeless.

“This memoir shares a major part of my life and how I handled it being a single mother of two children with one being diagnosed with cancer,” said Stovall, adding “more personal book projects” are forthcoming much sooner than later. “I have been able to share my strengths, weaknesses, and faith in God words, no matter what the world says. I have been able to start and continue one of my passions, which is helping others with my nonprofit organization efforts.”

Surely, because of keen perseverance, “Ziggy” is peeping through the clouds above and giving his mom’s a well-deserved thumbs up.

Boston author Pamela Reece’s “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” deemed a much-anticipated ‘must read’

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10 KJV)

PURPOSED FOR ADVERSITY

TURNING POINT — To her credit, Pamela Reece’s authorship talents have come full circle, given she is the mastermind behind the spiritually-empowering book entitled, “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage,” an awe-inspiring project that, according to this Boston-area writer, essentially aligns with the purpose for which she was created.

Regardless of how discouraging or dysfunctional things had become, say this about Pamela Reece:

She was determined not to faint (or give up) in her day (present time) of adversity.
“On various occasions, I’d be in the company of friends, sharing portions of my story, growing up in a dysfunctional setting and the adversities I had to overcome,” Reece, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments that fueled her desire to compose her latest book.
“Initially, the conversations were just a means to socialize and share my testimony of God’s faithfulness to me through the years,” Reece continued. “I would go from one experience to the next as my friends listened intently…so much that they strongly suggested I write a book.  I quickly dismissed the idea of writing, because it seemed so daunting.”
All things considered, amongst the things that Reece had ultimately discovered was that God had other ideas, particularly with her regards to her immeasurable gifts as a writer.

To her credit, Reece’s authorship talents have come full circle, given she is the mastermind behind the spiritually-empowering book entitled, “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage,” an awe-inspiring project that, according to this Boston-area writer, essentially aligns with the purpose for which she was created.

“Whenever God sends a deliverer, the opposition will wage war so that the deliverer doesn’t walk in his or her purpose,” said Reece, a devout woman of faith whom, given her array of hardships, is sounding as confident as she’s ever been in quite some time. “The opposition knows the Deliverer if given free course, will powerfully impact lives and generations to come.  So adversity was sent to smother my identity and purpose in the earth, yet every trial was sent to shape my personality but only for the better.  What seemed unfair, unjust and horrific, God has turned it for my good.”

Especially through “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage,” this spiritually-equipping written work that, much to Reece’s delight, was birthed amid all sorts of adversity that emerged in her life to challenge her faith.

Still, come hell or high water, this Christian-based author didn’t merely allow her faith to waver.

If nothing, she deemed it essential to become even more intentional, particularly from a spiritually perspective, considering she steadfastly made it point to draw closer to God in the process.

THE PROVERBS 24:10 FACTOR — “I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” is spiritually-equipping written work that, much to Reece’s delight, was birthed amid all sorts of adversity

Talk about demonstrating enough spiritual maturity by simply embracing adversity.

“Without the adversity, I would not have the advantage today of sharing this interview with the world,” Reece said. “Statistics tell us that eight out of 10 rapes are committed by someone the victim knows.  Every nine minutes, child protective service agencies find evidence of sexual abuse.”

Interesting, Reece disclosed some other notable facts to better support her purpose for assembling “I Chose The Good: Turning  Adversity Into Advantage.”

A native of Boston, Reece’s “I Chose the Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” is her personal memoir that details in length her growing up in a home of severe dysfunctionality and adversity.  This book, in fact, goes into great length of how she was exposed to abandonment, alcoholism, verbal abuse, and sexual molestation.

“I Chose The Good: Turning Adversity Into Advantage” is Reece’s first published book and, earlier this week, she told Making Headline News that after the forthcoming re-launch of “I Chose the Good,” more literary works will surface in the pipeline before year’s end.

“Today and the future are mine to dream, describe, and define,” Reece said. “I am particularly passionate about those who are a little older like myself, who know that they’re made for more and have an insatiable desire to pursue a lifelong dream and touch the world.”

To her credit, she’s doing just that — regardless of how discouraging or dysfunctional things might seem.

St. Louis author Prophetess Deborah Allen displaying unshakable faith through her book ‘Fierce’

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 KJV)

FIERCE KIND OF FAITH

BUT GOD!!! A St. Louis-area Pastor, Prophetess Deborah Allen’s “Fierce” was released amid what was seemingly a trying season in the life of this devout woman of faith. Amongst the reasons is that when God had strategically given Allen instructions to compose her new book, it happened during a time in which her husband, Bishop Glen Allen Sr., had been hospitalized due to an ongoing back pain, as well as an abnormal X-ray and a possible infection in his kidney.

DALLAS — The enemy tried all he could to toss shade in her direction.

Still, Prophetess Deborah Allen was determined to stand toe-to-toe and outlast the adversary the best was she knew how — with the written word of God which, to her credit, had come wrapped up in an awe-inspiring book.
“God first gave me the vision for this book as I was driving home the end of December 2016,” Allen told Making Headline News this week.
The book to which Allen is alluding is her relatively new project entitled, “Fierce,” which officially debuted in May 2018.
A St. Louis-area Pastor, Allen’s “Fierce” was released amid what was seemingly a trying season in the life of this devout woman of faith.

BUY PROPHETESS ALLEN’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Fierce-Prophetess-Deborah-Allen/dp/1642991902

A book that is comprised of 176 pages in length, Allen acknowledged that this spiritually-empowering book, by all accounts, reinforces her spiritual gifts, one of which is the gift of laying on hands and declaring healing upon the live of God’s people.

Amongst the reasons is that when God had strategically given Allen instructions to compose her new book, it happened during a time in which her husband, Bishop Glen Allen Sr., had been hospitalized due to an ongoing back pain, as well as an abnormal X-ray and a possible infection in his kidney.

“However, we learned he had stage four cancer and it had been growing inside his body undetected for about seven years,” Prophetess Allen recalled. “This was a complete shock and stage four chronic lymphocytic leukemia. As I was driving home, I was talking to God about how hard my life seemed to be, that it had been nothing but a battle. God showed me that from the beginning He was with me.”

THIS IS HOLY GROUND

ON GOD’S BATTLEFIELD — Widely regarded throughout the Body of Christ as a fierce, dynamic, and powerful woman of God, Prophetess Allen currently serves as Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Apostolic Ministries of God Church, a stint she’s held for the past two decades.

Indeed He was — and still is.

How else to explain why “Fierce” has been dubbed a “powerful, spirit-filled book” since its much-anticipated a little more than a year ago?

“The Lord breathed upon this book and filled it with a fresh wind,” said a spokesperson for Allen’s “Fierce” in a detailed breakdown of this book at Amazon.com. “Fierce was a God-inspired book as it was being written. God’s yoke-destroying anointing was loosed as this book was being penned. God’s spirit and anointing also flows as you are reading this book. Fierce prepares, instructs, and pushes the believer to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand. Stand in the Lord and be fierce.”

A book that is comprised of 176 pages in length, Allen acknowledged that this spiritually-empowering book, by all accounts, reinforces her spiritual gifts, one of which is the gift of laying on hands and declaring healing upon the live of God’s people.

“He blessed me to have the gift of healing in my hands,” Allen said. “God has sustained my husband and prayer has kept him. This is the season for God’s people to walk fiercely in him.”

Widely regarded throughout the Body of Christ as a fierce, dynamic, and powerful woman of God, Prophetess Allen currently serves as Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Apostolic Ministries of God Church, a stint she’s held for the past two decades.

In addition, she serves as Executive Director the L.A.M. Ministries Inc. nonprofit organization, has been married to Bishop Allen for more than 22 years, and is the mother of six children.

In addition, she serves as Executive Director the L.A.M. Ministries Inc. nonprofit organization, has been married to Bishop Allen for more than 22 years, and is the mother of six children.

Widely known also as a millionaire childcare coach, Prophetess Allen is an accomplished entrepreneur, who is the director of Little Lights Childcare and Learning Center, a St. Louis-area facility that has been in operation for 10 years.

As for “Fierce,” Prophetess Allen is appreciative of the notion that this book has opened “so many doors that I could never imagine,” she said without hesitation.

“This book has opened global doors for me,” said Prophetess Allen, alluding to her Fierce TV Show and Fierce Radio. “I have been featured internationally, because of this book. My God…who would have known that ‘Fierce’ would become such a movement in my life and the lives of many others everywhere? I’m simply amazed.”

As she should, especially considering aside from her husband’s physical challenges, Prophetess Allen can testify of the fact that God has blessed her to survive her very own season in the wilderness.

SEASON THE REBIRTH — Given the immeasurable strides she’s made in recent years — both in the natural and the spirit — it’s obviously this devout woman of faith has been armed with the kind of faith that was accompanied by a great deal of FIERCE.

“I’ve been through molestation, an abusive first marriage, I was a battered wife, teenage mother, and countless things, yet God has birthed His purpose out of my life for His divine glory,” Prophetess said. “As a leader, I want people to know that you can live, grow, and build, despite your life’s circumstances. Jesus is able to heal, deliver, and sustain us during every season of our lives and we are fierce in Him. My book is a testimony of strength, endurance, and encouragement through the Lord.”

So much for all that shade the adversary had tossed her direction.

And, given the immeasurable strides she’s made in recent years — both in the natural and the spirit — it’s obviously this devout woman of faith has been armed with the kind of faith that was accompanied by a great deal of FIERCE.

Bay Area businesswoman Sheila Ann Pullum Jr. goes from high school dropout to well-educated entrepreneur

DEFYING MONUMENTAL ODDS

HOLDING IT DOWN — A native of Oakland, California, Sheila Ann Pullum Jr.’s entrepreneurship stint include functioning as credit repair consultant through the globally-acclaimed UCES Protection Plan, a longstanding financial services venture that was organized as a strategic, effective way to support the financial opportunities of consumers.

Sheila Ann Pullum Jr. could be appropriately described as a resourceful businesswoman, one who has always kept what she deems a “good paying” job.

Still, aside from acquiring a steady flow of income through her regular 9-to-5 gig, Pullum Jr. admittedly has always clung to even loftier goals and ambitions, many of which centered on her quest to thrive as an accomplished entrepreneur.

MORE ON SHEILA PULLUM JR.: www.sheilapullum.com

Generally, this is done largely by implementing positive habits to create and maintain a strong financial future, Pullum Jr. told Making Headline News this week.

“Our unique collection of services have been carefully selected to provide protection and opportunity over the many aspects of your finances — all combined into one easy-to-use system,” Pullum Jr. explained. “Our membership can help to ensure you and your family are safeguarding the assets that you’ve earned and those you have to come.”

A thriving, progressive venture that caters mostly to individuals ranging from ages 19 to “all the way to 70 years old,” Pullum Jr. acknowledged, this Hayward, California-based businesswoman said it is due in large part her keen passion, coupled with her diligently displaying a heart for people that have contributed mightily to her sustained success.

“My passion has always been helping others, so I love being the vehicle to betterment, whether by assisting someone in the credit repair process or by helping someone start a home based business,” Pullum Jr. said. “Our program has helped people achieve goals of homeownership, getting approved for business loans, and simply upgrading lives through the power of credit and entrepreneurship.”

Once a high school dropout, who resumed her education and obtained her GED, Pullum Jr. steadily defied the odds when she had ultimately graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services BSHS.

To her credit, her business-related achievements have been nothing short of remarkable since she delved off into the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship.

That’s because Pullum Jr. is one of the top 65 producers in her company, a feat that resulted in her being awarded a seven-day cruise on the largest ship in the world, during which she traveled to Bay Islands, Honduras, Costa Maya, Cozumel Mexico, and Nassau Bahamas.

Interestingly, her entrepreneurial success has been put on display in such places as various parts of Florida, Las Vegas, and Houston, just to name a few.

As for her personal mission for functioning in her selected line of work, Pullum Jr. embraces the notion that experience undoubtedly has been her best teacher, in some aspects.

“I was never taught about credit and financial literacy, so like many others, I made mistakes and ended up with bad credit,” Pullum Jr. said. “Once I fixed my credit, my life changed for the better.”

Once her life changed, she sensed she had no choice but to devise ways to help change and enrich the lives of others.

“I felt it was my moral responsibility to share (my knowledge) with others,” Pullum Jr. said. “We cannot do better until we know better. “My personal mission for doing this is educate and assist others and to create generation wealth, retire my parents, and to build a legacy for my sons, grandsons, godchildren, and nieces and nephews. Also, I must have control of my time and income.”

Besides her fellow colleagues and business partners, Pullum Jr. said that arguably her grandest inspirations are Les Brown, Tony Robbins, Iyanla Vanzant, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Myles Munroe, and Jim Rohn, among others.

“(These) are influencers who have inspired me to push past my limiting beliefs and to fight for the life that I deserve,” Pullum Jr. said.

A little less than two years removed from having started her business venture, Pullum has become a fixture for hosting what is known as weekly overviews in the Bay Area.

DESTINY STEPS

“I consider myself a growth advocate and mindset mentor, encouraging others to stand in their power,” Pullum Jr. said. “(I love) helping people get from where they are to where they desire to be, to break the crabs in a bucket theory as I grow I reach back for others.

“Nothing in life is easy, but we have to choose our hard. Growth starts with the belief that you are capable of doing something different and stepping out of your comfort zone to greatness.”

Well said by a thriving, West Coast businesswoman, one who’s gone from a high school dropout to a well-educated entrepreneur in her own right.

Fort Worth author Helena Lewis-Norman savors her ‘new next’ courtesy of emotionally-driven book

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NIV)

TRAGEDY TO TRIUMPH

BUT GOD — Helena Lewis-Norman, in fact, can greatly attest to shattered dreams, as she vividly details in her newly-produced book entitled, “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” an emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work that was officially released in mid-April.

DALLAS — For Helena Lewis-Norman, the turmoil she’s endured in recent years, she wouldn’t wish for it to transpire in the life of her worst enemy.

“At some point in life, something will happen to shatter your dreams, your faith, and yes, your whole life,” Lewis-Norman told Making Headline News this week, recalling the tumultuous, disheartening developments surrounding the deaths of her daughter and grandchild. “Tragedy, hurt, and brokenness cross all socioeconomic boundaries, leaving us feeling hopeless.”
Lewis-Norman, in fact, can greatly attest to these encounters, as she vividly details in her newly-produced book entitled, “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” an emotionally-driven, tear-jerking written work that was officially released in mid-April.

BOOK SIGNING ALERT!!!

A native of nearby Fort Worth, Lewis-Norman will host a book signing for “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed,” her 176-page featured written document that addresses an assortment of pertinent topics, most notably what this Christian-based writer refers to as tragedy, hurt, and brokenness, all of which cross virtually all socioeconomic boundaries.

A book signing and brunch celebration for this sought-after book will take on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at the Hampton Inn and Suites, located at 6555 Park Brook in Forest Hill, Texas.

As Lewis-Norman eloquently explained, it was God Who strategically assigned her to compose an awe-inspiring book whereby she recalls in great details how He anchored her spiritually during what arguably was the darkest season of her life.

“It doesn’t matter who you are, somewhere along your journey, life will deal you a hand you don’t know how to play,” Lewis-Norman said. “At that moment, your entire life hinges upon your decision.”

Within minutes after offering a detailed synopsis of her new book, this devout woman of faith then poses a few rather riveting, thought-provoking questions to masses to ponder, particularly as it pertains to their respective season in the wilderness.

“Will you react and continue to do the same things you’ve always done such as avoid painful times in your life? Or will you respond by doing something different and deal with the broken pieces in your life?” Lewis-Norman said. “Things that have shattered in your life, which left you broken, all had a purpose to prepare you for your new next.”

For Lewis-Norman, because of her bend-but-don’t break faith, coupled with her spiritually resiliency as one of God’s beloved spokespersons, she can dauntless profess that she’s ceremoniously crossed over into her “new next.”

Yep. To God be the glory.

“There is life after loss of a love one, divorce — which feels like a death — transition or change of employment or financial crisis,” Lewis-Norman said.

As expected, the feedback for Lewis-Norman’s “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed” has been overwhelmingly favorable.

“Excellent feedback of transparent moments shared in the book,” Lewis-Norman said.

Interestingly, while putting the wraps on her newly-produced project, Lewis-Norman recalls how God had given her specific instructions as a strategic, effective way to minister to His people.

“While finalizing the last chapters of the book, I was ignited as the purpose pusher to help push people who have been paralyzed by their pain and stagnated in disappointment, which caused them to doubt who they are in God,” Lewis-Norman said.

In addition, Lewis-Norman told Making Headline News that she’s devising ways to construct a stage play for “Shattered Pieces: From Broken2Blessed.”

Winners BBQ has been nothing short of remarkable since its 2015 Dallas/Fort Worth inception

“The highest human act is to inspire.”Late superstar rapper Nipsey Hussle

WINNER’S CIRCLE

DOING IT BIG IN TEXAS — A former Iowa State football standout, DeAndre Jackson had ultimately delved off into the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship as the proud founder of Winners BBQ, a family-owned restaurant that has established three franchises since its inception in 2015.

DUNCANVILLE, Texas — If there’s one thing that DeAndre Jackson has learned as a former athlete, it’s how to make good on a seemingly unfavorable situation.

Consider, for instance, how when Jackson’s bid to land on an NFL roster spot fell short amid a career-ending ACL injury, he diligently had become resourceful in that he miraculously found his niche, both as an athletic trainer and real estate agent.
Much to his delight, things for the Garland, Texas native would only get better.

THEY ARE LIT — Winners BBQ, in fact, has become a fixture throughout North Texas, in large part because consumers have come to enjoy — and embrace — its delectable meat plates, meat by the pound, its assortment of sandwiches, not to mention its smoked turkey legs, as well as its distinctly unique meat loaded potato that’s famously deemed “The G.O.AT.”

Winners BBQ’s original location is housed at 3200 14th Street in nearby Plano. A popular Dallas/Fort Worth restaurant that Jackson owns along with his cousin, Tevin Jackson, Tevin’s wife, former University of Texas and professional track and field star Nichole Denby-Jackson, Winners BBQ has since added two locations — one in Cedar Hill and in Austin.

Following what the Jacksons described as “massive success” of the Plano location, DeAndre opened Winners BBQ Cedar Hill in 2017, and in less than three months ago, Nichole, Tevin, and Nichole’s sister, Nichale,  opened the Austin location.

For DeAndre Jackson and Co., it’s been all good ever since.

RED ZONE EFFICIENCY

To their credit, the Jacksons have gone to great lengths to form what has become an All-Star lineup of Winners BBQ CEOs.

“We pride ourselves on bringing flavorful craft BBQ with having a one-of-a-kind menu and delivering exceptional customer service,” Nichole Denby-Jackson told Making Headline News this week.

And then there are Winners BBQ’s mouth-watering sides and its kids menu, not to mention its sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and its flavor-packed dry rub, which takes all of its smoked meats to “another level of flavor,” DeAndre Jackson acknowledged.

Interestingly, Winners BBQ has earned mentions in a slew of food publications, trends that have given way to this star-studded restaurant chain having garnered a host of food awards and magazine honors.

“As high profile collegiate and professional athletes, we are highly competitive by nature and this competitiveness and drive spill over into every faucet of our lives,” DeAndre Jackson explained. “Sports is what we all have in common, and the discipline, dedication, perseverance, mental toughness, sacrifice, motivation, and determination that athletics have instilled in us has taught us very valuable life lessons and how to never quit, no matter what curve balls life throw your way.”

To their credit, the Jacksons have gone to great lengths to form what has become an All-Star lineup of Winners BBQ CEOs.

Surely, their competitive drive as former athletes has contributed mightily to their sustained entrepreneurship success.

For starters, DeAndre and Tevin Jackson, both were legitimate hopeful to land NFL contracts before injuries reduced their effectiveness, thus bringing their careers to unceremoniously ends.

ON A MISSION — As for the Jacksons’ mission for having delved off into entrepreneurship, what it all boils down, they said, is devising ways to leave a legacy for their children — and their children’s children.

Both, in fact, had sustained torn ACL’s, and were forced to tackle — and sack — what they label as the “real world” for the first time in a long time.

And then there was Nichole, a Los Angeles native, who was the catalyst of Texas’ track and field program that captured a national championship before she enjoyed a professional stint with Nike and Adidas that spanned a decade.

Interestingly, Nichole maintained a top-10 world ranking and represented the U. S. on its World Championship Team, as well as served as an alternate on the U. S. Olympic team.

“Another mission is to have enough financial freedom for me to give back to many communities through charitable acts of kindness and build water wells in certain parts of Africa for those without clean water,” Nichole added. “We are all big on philanthropy and are big advocates for our community.”

In addition, the Jacksons announced strategic plans to create what they call the “WINspiration Foundation,” an organization that would allow them to display their notable philanthropy efforts.

“Something that I learned from the late great Nipsey Hussle is that the highest human act is to inspire,” Nichole said. “If I can use my platform to reach at least one person — I would love to inspire many — I would be happy.”

Said DeAndre Jackson: “It is important to pass down knowledge and wisdom to better those around you and make them want to become the best versions of themselves and to be able to pass down and instill these things in the next generation which will pick up the baton as it will be their turn to run the world.”

Just as the Jacksons are presently doing as successful entrepreneurs — this after having made good on seemingly unfavorable situations.

Talk about true Winners.

Florida author Shemeka L. McNair’s choosing to ‘wait on God’ has resulted in her gifts making room for her

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2019 SPECIAL REPORT

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. (Psalm 27:14 KJV)

WAITING FOR GOD’S APPROVAL

TRUSTING THE PROCESS — Florida author Shemeka McNair’s featured written work is entitled, “Impatiently Waiting: Don’t Rush Love,” a 170-page project that jumpstarted her authorship debut when it was ceremoniously released in 2016.

Just before midday EST on Saturday, Shemeka L. McNair took to her Facebook page, where she staged before her social media followers a rather forthright and riveting post that essentially had come wrapped up in a self-declaration, of sorts.

Said McNair in on her timelime:
This year, I will shake hands with million dollar investors. They will fund my vision in its entirety. Then I will become a millionaire and I will shake hands with people like me and I will fund their vision. Not only will I soon be a millionaire I will produce other millionaires for the Glory of God! I walk in this type of favor!! I am anointed for this.
Talk about shooting her spiritual shot. Talk about keeping it 100.
Talk about some making an emphatic, dauntless, in-your-face profession, one that figures to change not just the life of McNair but, most importantly, virtually an entire generation.
If, by chance, God deems it essential to bring that about which McNair has publicly declared to fruition, in all likelihood, she’ll be exchanging pleasantries with millionaires, who will surely express interest in her gallery of books.

BUY SHEMEKA McNAIR’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Impatiently-Waiting-Dont-Rush-Love/dp/1542879418

One in particular is McNair’s featured written work entitled, “Impatiently Waiting: Don’t Rush Love,” the 170-page project that jumpstarted her authorship debut when it was ceremoniously released in 2016.

“I wrote the book, because I was single for so long time and, at a certain point in my wait, I became tired of waiting and begin to make really (ill-advised) choices in men,” McNair, a native of Magee, Mississippi, told Making Headline News this week. “I lowered — basically got rid of — all of the standards I had and I just started to go with the flow of the dating scene. I bumped my head and had my heart broken so many times, I lost count.”

As McNair vividly explained, it wasn’t until God had her strategically confined inside of her vehicle that greatly enabled her to — for a lack of better words — see a light bulb moment, particularly it relates to her unfavorable decision-making in dating.

“One night, in the year 2011, I was sitting in the car, crying over a relationship and I begin to ask God, ‘Why is this happening to me? Why does this keep happening to me?’” — Florida Author Shemeka McNair

As she consequently found out, God — His usual reliable Self — had provided her with some much-needed sense of direction.

“I heard a Voice say, ‘Write about it,’” McNair explained. “What type of response is that? I’m crying and You tell me to write about it. As time passed, I begin to journal about whatever I was going through in the relationships and courtships.”

LISTEN UP — As for the divine message she’s sending to her audience through “Impatiently Waiting: Don’t Rush Love,” McNair said, “If you can wait, you can have whatever it is you want. When we rush we have everything we don’t want…like the wrong partner, toxic relationships, and situations we should have never been a part of. We all have a due season. We just have to enjoy, not despise our wait, because it will always be worth the wait.”

And before she knew it, she was on path to assuming the role of an author, a trend that has given way to this Orlando-based writer and businesswoman assembling three additional books, one of which is presently in the works and about to be headed for the printer.

Aside from an “Impatiently Waiting” book that has caught the attention of actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, who’s famously known for her childhood role as Rudy Huxtable in the classic NBC sitcom, “The Cosby Show,” McNair also authored:

“Behind the Scenes Of Success,” which was released in December 2017, or approximately 10 months after the first one. Then in January 2019, she published “On the Road To Recovery.”

As McNair can boldly admit today, she’s grateful to God for having assigned her to speak along such a thought-provoking, spiritually-empowering topic for such a time as now.

As for the divine message she’s sending to her audience through “Impatiently Waiting: Don’t Rush Love,” McNair said, “If you can wait, you can have whatever it is you want. When we rush we have everything we don’t want…like the wrong partner, toxic relationships, and situations we should have never been a part of. We all have a due season. We just have to enjoy, not despise our wait, because it will always be worth the wait.”

As McNair can boldly admit today, she’s grateful to God for having assigned her to speak along such a thought-provoking, spiritually-empowering topic for such a time as now.

McNair’s “Behind the Scenes Of Success” was released in December 2017, or approximately 10 months after her first book.

“Many people have said to me that I will write books, but I didn’t know how or where to start,” McNair said. “So I just started to write down what I thought I should be writing until one day in 2015, I was visiting a church and the pastor asked me to stand and he said to me, ‘I see you journaling. I see you are writing a lot.’”

Surely, such a public prophesy essentially was God speaking to McNair through one of His spokespersons.

McNair’s “On the Road To Recovery” debuted in January of this year.

To her credit, it’s a good thing she took heed to that which God revealed to her.

Continued the Pastor: “God said for you to hurry up and write the book and he will send the finances.”

STAR POWER — McNair’s “Impatiently Waiting”has caught the attention of actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, who’s famously known for her childhood role as Rudy Huxtable in the classic NBC sitcom, “The Cosby Show.”

And just like that, McNair’s authorship tenure was officially underway, an awe-inspiring development that given way to four books — and counting.

“That put a fire under me and I was trying to write, but didn’t know what I should be writing,” McNair said.

Once she had finally found her niche as an accomplished author, God, in turn, had provided the increase.

GLIMPSE OF GOD’S GLORY — If, by chance, God deems it essential to bring that about which McNair has publicly declared to fruition, in all likelihood, she’ll be exchanging pleasantries with millionaires, who will surely express interest in her gallery of books.

“I have received great feedback from everyone,” McNair said of her assortments, especially the first one. “They feel the book is real and relatable. Even men have said the book was a great read.”

Chances are, those millionaires with whom she will eventually cross paths will share the same sentiments.
