Mid-South Pastor Dr. Alandrus P. Spencer’s banner year continues with the forthcoming release of his second book

It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. (Psalm 119:71 KJV)

Dr. Alandrus P. Spencer is an accomplished Mid-South-area Pastor.

Add to his illustrious resume “extraordinary author” as well.

That’s because days after being named National TAP Author of the Year, Dr. Spencer announced the forthcoming release of his new book entitled, “Encouraging Moment: The Turbulence Was Necessary.”

An 80-Day Devotional Journal, Dr. Spencer’s “Encouraging Moment: The Turbulence Was Necessary” is his second published book and is scheduled to make its official release on December 15.

THE PSALM 119:71 FACTOR — Days after being named National TAP Author of the Year, Dr. Spencer announced the forthcoming release of his new book entitled, “Encouraging Moment: The Turbulence Was Necessary.”

A native of Chicago, who currently resides in Jonesboro, Arkansas — though he was raised in nearby Blytheville — Dr. Spencer’s “Encouraging Moment: The Turbulence Was Necessary” will debut a little more than 15 months after he made his authorship debut, courtesy of his initial written document entitled,  “Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment.”

“I chose to write this book because I love to encourage others, and I felt I could give them these same quotes that challenged and encouraged me during some of life most challenging times,” Dr. Spencer told Making Headline News during an interview in mid-February.

As for his soon-to-be released book, Dr. Spencer doesn’t shy away from the notion that while this project will be accompanied by more encouragement, he also felt compelled to explain in detail why various forms of adversity — or turbulence, if you will — had to find its way to our lives.

DR. ALANDRUS P. SPENCER’S NEW BOOK COMING 12.15.18

“The single, most underlying reason I choose to release this book is because we need to recognize that we have the unique ability on the inside to encourage ourselves and others, just as David encouraged himself in the Lord,” Dr. Spencer, the Senior Pastor of Touching Lives Ministries, Inc. in Blytheville, told MHN this week.

As Dr. Spencer specifically acknowledged, it didn’t take him very long to catch the vision to compose his second book. In fact, he said that God had strategically given him the assignment to assemble Book No. 2 immediately after he made his authorship debut.

“God gave me the vision to write this book immediately after I released the first book,” Dr. Spencer recalled. “He also explained to me that this book would be a part of a three-book series. My first book, Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment was released in late 2017, so I will have one more to write in the sequel.”

STANDING OVATION — Dr. Spencer’s first book, Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment, is a spiritually-driven written document that has been effectively anointed an award-winner.

How’s that for the Holy Trinity (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost).

“God has always given me a heart to encourage others,” said Dr. Spencer, explaining the purpose for his upcoming book. “In fact, it’s my call and purpose.”

Add to the fact that he’s greatly empowered to customarily encourage the hearts of God’s people from behind a sacred desk, and it’s no wonder that such a fruit of the spirit essentially has become a lifestyle, of sorts, for this seasoned clergyman.

“It’s hard for me to pass someone up that having a bad day,” Dr. Spencer said. “I always feel I have a word of encouragement to help them overcome.”

That, after all, practically sums up why second book makes all of the sense in the world, not to mention explains why weeks before its release, Dr. Spencer’s “Encouraging Moment: The Turbulence Was Necessary” is already attracting favorable feedback.

“The feedback has been tremendous and people have expressed the high demand for me to give them more,” Dr. Spencer said. “Some have said it is the daily dose of encouragement that gets them through their day.”

IN THAT ORDER — “God gave me the vision to write this book immediately after I released the first book,” Dr. Spencer recalled. “He also explained to me that this book would be a part of a three-book series. My first book, Encouraging Moment: Live Life By An Encouraging Moment was released in late 2017, so I will have one more to write in the sequel.”

As for Dr. Spencer, his forthcoming book could very well be the prelude to emerging as another award-winning piece.

So stay tuned.

“I am planning to write the last book in this series, and I am writing alongside my beautiful wife a children’s book,” Dr. Spencer said.

Making plans to add to his illustrious resume that already includes “extraordinary author.”

KHIANDRA TURNS 40: Dallas minister Tyrone Woods pays homage to his beloved wife, who turns 40 October 27

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES TYRONE AND KHIANDRA WOODS

Because of the unyielding love he routinely exemplifies for his wife, Tyrone Woods was only trying to bask in the glory of the moment.

As usual, he was nothing short of impressive.

During last weekend’s inaugural State Fair Showdown between college football rivals Texas Southern versus Southern University, Woods — roaming the sideline just before the start of the third quarter — went to great lengths to welcome a host of Southern football players and band members to Dallas’ historic Cotton Bowl.

IN THEIR NECK OF THE WOODS — A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Khiandra Woods will celebrate her 40th birthday on October 27, a much-anticipated milestone to which her life’s most celebrated individual had been looking forward for quite some time. A longtime educator, Woods is married to Tyrone Woods, an ordained minister who accepted his calling to the ministry 10 years ago.

He had a very good reason why.

“I believe she loves Southern University, because it shaped so much of her life,” Woods, during an interview with Making Headline News, said of his wife, Khiandra Woods, a proud graduate of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based predominately black institution.

While Tyrone Woods had spent a great amount of time, paying homage to his wife’s alma mater by taking photos of and interacting with SU players, he’d be the first to admit that his love for Khiandra’s college isn’t merely synonymous to the admiration and honor he has for her.

A native of Alexandria, Louisiana, Khiandra will celebrate her
40th birthday on October 27, a much-anticipated milestone to which her
life’s most celebrated individual had been looking forward for quite some time.

“My love for her far exceeds her love for Southern
(University),” said Tyrone Woods, a native Willis, Texas. “There is no
comparison.”

A Dallas/Fort Worth-area couple who began dating sometime in
2015, Tyrone and Khiandra had eventually changed nuptials in March 2016.

Much to their delight, their close-knit, Christian-based bond has been a thing of beauty with God, their Helper, leading the way.

THE HEART OF THE DELTA — “The way she changed my life and ministry for the better is that she married me,” Tyrone Woods said of the immeasurable impact his wife has had on his life. “Everything that makes me better is wrapped up in her.”

“Southern (University) could only give guidelines for a path
in life,” said Tyrone Woods, drawing a correlation between his love for his
wife and how extremely vital it is that he supports her college alma mater. “I
am on the path of purpose with (her) every day.”

Credit the couple’s devout faith life that’s centered mostly on Biblical principles as arguably amongst the biggest reasons their interdependence and tireless support for each other, by all accounts, have given way to what has become a solid, inseparable union.

“Together, we seek purpose, find purpose, and together through our love for each other,” said Tyrone Woods, an ordained minister who accepted his calling to preach the gospel approximately a decade ago. “And God as our Head, we obtain and fulfill purpose in our lives. She loves Southern University but I’m in love with her.”

Which ironically goes to show that as Khiandra displays loves for her alma mater, chances are, her beloved husband will be right there, cheering on the Jags alongside her.

GOD’S LEADING LADIES — Khiandra Woods poses for a photo with Sandra G. Jackson, the First Lady of West Irving Church of God In Christ, following her wedding ceremony in March 2016.

As evidenced by last weekend’s SWAC showdown that had
ultimately ended with SU coming away with a 21-7 win.

Thank God for a favorable outcome involving the Woods’ favorite
HBCU.

“The way she changed my life and ministry for the better is that she married me,” Tyrone Woods said of the immeasurable impact his wife has had on his life. “Everything that makes me better is wrapped up in her.”

Some pretty remarkably amazing comments by this preacher-turned-SU fan whom, given his public honor to his wife, should be given a free pass on purchasing a birthday card. Then again…

SOUTHERN FOR THE WIN — During last weekend’s inaugural State Fair Showdown between college football rivals Texas Southern versus Southern University, Woods — roaming the sideline just before the start of the third quarter — went to great lengths to welcome a host of Southern football players and band members to Dallas’ the historic Cotton Bowl.

“Happy birthday sweetheart,” Tyrone Woods said with such
authority as his wife’s 40th birthday looms. “God blessed me with
you. It is my desire that every year I’m blessed to be with you, I get better
so that I can make your life better. I love you!”

Once again, he was nothing short of impressive.

Tampa’s Michelle Greene Rhodes savoring the best of both worlds as a medical professional, entrepreneur

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES MICHELLE GREENE RHODES

One thing about Michelle Greene Rhodes, she’s fully aware of the purpose for which God has created her.

She’s not just aware of it, mind you.

Given the progressive and flourishing strides she’s made over the years, Rhodes’ reputation is such that she’s destined to go above and beyond to live her best life as an accomplished medical professional.

And not just live and savor her best life but, most importantly, she’s committed to helping others follow suit.

WHAT ABOUT MICHELLE?
 www.MichelleRhodesOnline.com

COACH ENTREPRENEUR — A native of St Petersburg, Florida who boasts a solid career as a registered nurse, Michelle Greene Rhodes is the mastermind by an immeasurable coaching business, which allows her to inspire and empower nurses into entrepreneurship.

“(I want) to see more nurses fulfilled by their purpose,” Rhodes, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining her mission that has benefited her mightily as a thriving, progressive businesswoman.

A native of St Petersburg, Florida who boasts a solid career
as a registered nurse, Rhodes is the mastermind by an immeasurable coaching
business, which allows her to inspire and empower nurses into entrepreneurship.

“(I have) the desire to see nurses fulfill their dreams and passion outside of the hospital,” said Rhodes, explaining how her competitive drive in life has helped propel her for her business venture. “We have so much to offer. I love the freedom it brings and the purpose it fulfills.”

MAJOR CAREER MILESTONE — In May 2018, Rhodes witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology.”

For Rhodes, who currently resides in Tampa, her well-publicized track record as an RN has been nothing short of remarkable.

That’s because aside from customarily caring for and tending to those who are in dire need of medical help, Rhodes can be appropriately deemed a woman of many hats, considering she is a gifted author and public speaker.

In May 2018, Rhodes witnessed the much-anticipated release of her first book entitled, “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology.”

Comprised of 220 pages, Rhodes’ “The Nurse Echelon: A Victorious Nurse Anthology” is centered mostly on the spiritually-enhancing subject that is victory, most notably how victory has been commonly defined as what she describes as the overcoming of an enemy or antagonist.

“In life, many of us have had to triumph over trials and tribulations to meet a particular goal in life,” said a spokesperson for Rhodes recently-released book at Amazon.com. “Those who do not allow hardships to defeat them have been known as overcomers. When it comes to becoming a nurse or enduring a nursing career, it is known that the schooling is rigorous, the work is tough, the shifts are long and there are some nights that we cannot sleep due to thinking about the shift before. This anthology was created to inspire women, nurses and future nurses to not give up when hard times come. You see, after the rain comes the sunshine.”

A pretty empowering synopsis of a scintillating written document that will be on display when Rhodes hosts her fourth book signing, this time on Saturday, October 20 at a Tampa-area Barnes And Noble.

“We’ll also be launching my 2nd Annual Nurses Book Drop,
(during which) I (introduce) 10 nurses as authors,” Rhodes said. “Last year’s event
was a huge success.”

A coaching business that went into full operations in November
2016, Rhodes emphasized, among other things, that her sustained success has
come to fruition, courtesy of her fervent desire to esteem and inspire others
daily.

TEAM RHODES — For Rhodes, who currently resides in Tampa, her well-publicized track record as an RN has been nothing short of remarkable. That’s because aside from customarily caring for and tending to those who are in dire need of medical help, Rhodes can be appropriately deemed a woman of many hats, considering she is a gifted author and public speaker.

“Having stayed the course and achieved my own dreams, I find joy in helping others attain theirs as well.” — Michelle Greene Rhodes

A business venture that mostly accommodates women ranging in ages 28 to 48, Rhodes has been afforded the golden opportunity to put her work-related gifts on display in a variety of places, even as far as in the Bahamas.

Interestingly, in May 2019, she will be empowering women in Paris, France along with internationally-acclaimed speaker, Cheryl Wood.

“Having stayed the course and achieved my own dreams, I find
joy in helping others attain theirs as well,” Rhodes said.

Now we know why she’s fully aware of the purpose for which
God has created her.

South Carolina Pastor TrVera Williams leading God’s people to make a ‘U Turn’ for Christ

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES PASTOR TRVERA WILLIAMS

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

Just after midday EST on Thursday, TrVera Williams took to her Facebook page, where she staged a rather intriguing and thought-provoking video.

The footage before her gallery of social media followers read: YOU ARE NEXT IN LINE FOR A MIRACLE.

Ahhh…just the ideal message by this devout, big-hearted woman of faith whom, to her credit, is being used by God to advance the kingdom unlike never before, for such pivotal time as now.

“When the Lord placed in my spirit to transition, I just didn’t see how that would work,” Williams, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, explaining in great detail the events that had ultimately given way to her establishing a ministry. “Being single and the sole bread winner, my questions were: How am I going to pay my bills and what am I going to do with the business bills?”

U-TURN INTO MORE SUCCESS — A native of Jamestown, South Carolina, Trvera Williams has made some pretty remarkably and progressive strides as the Founder and Senior Pastor of U Turn For Christ Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., which will be celebrating five years of existence in what has been deemed Harvest Celebration 2018, a three-day, power-packed event that will take place November 16-18.

As Williams consequently found it, because her calling to the ministry essentially was God’s will, it was also, by all accounts, His bill.

Yep, that’s
just like God.

“The Lord told me that He would take care of me and that I was not to go get another job, but my job was to get up every morning, get dressed and go upstairs and spend time with Him. Initially, fear and anger were present, because I didn’t understand why God would take something away that He told me to build.” — Pastor Trvera Williams

That Williams has steadfastly obeyed the Voice of God has benefited her mightily since she ceremoniously delved off into ministry full time.

SOLID CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION — Having grown up in what is known as the Jehovah Holiness Church, Williams and her family, she explained, were affiliated with the First Born Church Of The Living God, a denomination that is based in Waycross, Georgia.

A native of Jamestown, South Carolina, Williams has made some pretty remarkably and progressive strides as the Founder and Senior Pastor of U Turn For Christ Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., which will be celebrating five years of existence in what has been deemed Harvest Celebration 2018, a three-day, power-packed event that will take place November 16-18.

A non-denominational institution that Williams founded in November 2013, U Turn For Christ is housed in the historic Berea area of Greenville, South Carolina, which is part of the Greenville, Mauldin, and Easley metropolitan statistical areas — a town that is comprised of roughly 14,295 residents, according to the latest U. S. census.

“He then
said He was taking it away, but, instead, I was trading in my business,
Serenity Rehab And Wellness Center, for something better,” said Williams, recalling
the infancy stages of her ministry.

CONNECT WITH U TURN FOR CHRIST VIA SOCIAL MEDIA: https://www.facebook.com/UTFCEM/

Interestingly, U Turn For Christ’s regular worship services took place in the gymnasium of Williams’ place of business in Winter 2013.

Today,
however, this up-and-coming ministry’s present site is located at 6243 White
Horse Road, Suite F in Greenville.

A church
whereby this clergywoman is widely known for emphasizing the spirit of
excellence throughout the Body of Christ and in the community, Williams’
professional ministerial resume is such that she isn’t just known for being a
solid and notable pastor.

To her credit, coupled with the divine purpose for which she was created, Williams is widely known also as a godly mentor to a host of leaders, particularly those whom likewise have been called to the ministry.

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM — In 2017, Williams witnessed the release of her book entitled, “A Journey With A Promise,” an awe-inspiring written document that is comprised of poems, as well as recording an inspirational scripture and Prayer CD entitled, “Worship In The Word With Anointed Keys.”

Credit her notable and rich upbringing in the church as amongst the reasons Williams is yet witnessing her destiny unfold right before her eyes.

“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you, be who God has called you to be,” said Williams, explaining what were amongst the key and strategic values her parents taught her as a child.

Having grown
up in what is known as the Jehovah Holiness Church, Williams and her family,
she explained, were affiliated with the First Born Church Of The Living God, a denomination
that is based in Waycross, Georgia.

The daughter to a mother, who was an evangelist and father, who was a deacon, Williams practically grew up in the church.

GOD’S LEADING LADY — For what’s it worth, that Williams had begun preaching the gospel at the tender age of 16 essentially was a prelude to what is taken place at this stage in her life, a trend that was highlighted by her officially accepting her calling, thus selling out solely to God in 1999.

“I grew up, singing in the choir, being active in the youth department, on speaking programs for youth district meetings,” said Williams, once of a product of the historic Church of God In Christ. “(I also) transitioned into playing the drums and then the keyboard of which I continue to play.”

For what’s it worth, that Williams had begun preaching the gospel at the tender age of 16 essentially was a prelude to what is taking place at this stage in her life, a trend that was highlighted by her officially accepting her calling, thus selling out solely to God in 1999.

How else to explain why she was next in line for a miracle all along?

“My mother
says that when I was younger I would preach to my stuff animals,” Williams jokingly
said, but with a straight face.

LET US GO INTO GOD’S HOUSE — A non-denominational institution that Williams founded in November 2013, U Turn For Christ is housed in the historic Berea area of Greenville, South Carolina, which is part of the Greenville, Mauldin, and Easley metropolitan statistical area, a town that is comprised of roughly 14,295 residents, according to the latest U. S. census.

Much to her delight, she routinely preaches before people from various walks of life, people who are discouraged and wounded and spiritually incarcerated, people who are in dire need to change the overall landscape of their lives, all the while drawing closer to God in the process.

After all,
this is what making a U-Turn for Christ is all about.

“This testimony shows me how I thought I believed and trusted (God), but I saw that I believed as far as the bank account and the pay day, because I knew with my profession, I would not be jobless,” said Williams who, last year, witnessed the much-anticipated release of her book entitled, “A Journey With A Promise,” an awe-inspiring written document of poems. “But this test has helped me stand and continue to build U Turn For Christ Evangelistic Ministries on a sure foundation.”

APPLE OF GOD’S EYE — Much to her delight, Williams routinely preaches before people from various walks of life, people who are discouraged and spiritually incarcerated, people who are in dire need to change the overall landscape of their lives, all the while drawing closer to God in the process. After all, this is what making a U-Turn for Christ is all about.

A solid,
faith-based foundation that undoubtedly will stand the test of time with God,
its Helper, leading the way.

“Throughout the transition period and for about six months,” said Williams, “not one bill went unpaid, and many bills were written off, all because my faith came up.”

Indeed it
deed.

For five
years and counting.

Yep, that’s just like God.

Mid-South Corporate America professional Tonia Wynette relishing her vision as a Life Coach/Motivational Speaker

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES TONIA WYNETTE

We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. (Romans 15:1 NLT)

Just recently, on a Friday morning just after 10 a. m. CST in the third week of September, Tonia Wynette had just arrived to work and was in the process of getting settled in.

Just as she was about to begin her day, she suddenly began to hear from God unlike never before.

For what it’s worth, this accomplished and resourceful
Corporate America professional had no choice but to pause and lend her ear to
that about which was directed toward her.

DESTINY STEPS UNFOLDING — A native of Piperton — a rural town that is housed in Fayette County, Tennessee and is comprised of roughly 1,445 residents, according to the latest U. S, census — Tonia Wynette announced recently her strategic plans to carry out her long-awaited vision as a Life Coach/Motivational Speaker.

“With obstacles comes progress,” a dear friend told Wynette during a phone conversation as she tuned in with pure wonderment.

And just like that, Wynette essentially was introduced to the purpose for which God created, was officially introduced to a lofty, God-mandated assignment she sensed would ultimately come to fruition at some point in time.

As it turned out, that point in time is now.

“I’ve always been a nurturer…a bit selfless. I love making others feel good,” Wynette told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “It breaks my heart when I hear people talk down on themselves. If I see sadness in your eyes, I feel obligated to help you to see that there’s something to be grateful for, something to smile about.”

It is due in large part to Wynette’s bend-but-don’t-break
faith, coupled with her fervent desire to esteem others highly than herself,
that she is thoroughly convinced she’s destined to tackle and embrace yet
another awe-inspiring venture at this stage in her life.

A native of Piperton who grew up as a P. K. (widely known as a Preacher’s Kid) — a rural town that is housed in Fayette County, Tennessee and is comprised of roughly 1,445 residents, according to the latest U. S, census — Wynette announced recently her strategic plans to carry out her long-awaited vision as a Life Coach/Motivational Speaker.

For Wynette, 39, it is an endeavor that essentially had been
in the works for some time. Now she’s persuaded the time has come to exercise
her faith because, after all, faith without works is dead.

FAITH ON TRIAL — For Wynette, 39, it is an endeavor that essentially had been in the works for some time. Now she’s persuaded the time has come to exercise her faith because, after all, faith without works is dead.

“(I aspire to) help uplift and build others, to create an atmosphere where you can come and be yourself. “(I want to) to help you become comfortable with being who you are, to offer a safe place to show your vulnerabilities, and to do all within my power to help rid you of all of the hurt, pain, resentment, uncertainty, low self-esteem, etc., that holds you back and keeps you from being the person God intended you to be.” — Tonia Wynette

If anyone can greatly attest to all sorts of spiritual roadblocks, Wynette undoubtedly can. In fact, given the awesome assignment to which she has been introduced, she doesn’t seem to mind sharing before the world her assortment of past hurdles and obstacles, these seemingly discomforting occurrences that have molded and developed and positioned her to possess the best that God had in store from her from the outset.

SHE’S STILL STANDING — It is due in large part to Wynette’s bend-but-don’t-break faith, coupled with her fervent desire to esteem others highly than herself, that she is thoroughly convinced she’s destined to tackle and embrace yet another awe-inspiring venture at this stage in her life.

“Being a person who’s experienced physical, emotional, verbal and financial abuse, a person who was once shunned for being who I truly am — that (actually) was hurt, anger, and resentment fueled me — but after much prayer and support from those closest to me, love, peace, and forgiveness has sustained me,” Wynette said. “I’ve been encouraging and building individuals that I see or feel are in need of it from as early as high school. Professionally, I’m just starting.”

What better time to start than now, especially considering
she’s thoroughly convinced that it was God Who was working diligently behind
the scenes on her behalf all along?

“This is something God has put on my heart and in my heart,
but if I must give credit to any human being, it’d have to be my father, Pastor
Tommie L. Watkins,” Wynette said. “He is the most selfless person I know. He’s
spent his years, from as early as I remember, leading, helping, encouraging,
praying for and building others up.”

Interestingly and to her credit, Wynette seemed destined not
only walk in the footsteps of her father but, most importantly, to help advance
the kingdom with God, her Helper, leading the way.

“There are people going to their graves everyday with gifts
that have yet to be utilized, hearts filled with love that they were too afraid
to give,” Wynette said. “There are hurt people, broken people, depressed people,
people who can’t and don’t realize their worth simply because of abuse,
depression, and low self-esteem. This shouldn’t be.

THE PROVERBS 31 FACTOR — Interestingly and to her credit, Wynette seemed destined not only walk in the footsteps of her father but, most importantly, to help advance the kingdom with God, her Helper, leading the way.

“God has a purpose for your life,” Wynette continued. “Gifts
created just for you. I want people to see it. There are no nobodies on this
earth. God created everybody to be somebody special. I just want to be one of
the tools He uses to get that message across for as far as He allows my voice
and physical presence to reach.”

And just like that, she’s effectively embracing the purpose
for which God created, effectively embracing a lofty, God-mandated assignment
she sensed would ultimately come to fruition at some point in time.

As it turned out, that point in time is now.

Texas author Gina McGowan Cade enjoying an increase in sales, global exposure since book’s release

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES GINA MCGOWAN CADE

DALLAS — To make a long story short…

“This book still blesses me,” Gina McGowan Cade is swift to acknowledge when recalling just how much God has steadfastly used her for His glory through her spirited and empowering written document entitled, “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul.”

Since her book’s much-anticipated release nearly three years ago, McGowan Cade has enjoyed a considerable amount of success, most notably through increased sales and enhanced exposure through the mainstream media.

An inspiring and spiritually-driven book in which McGowan Cade’s featured message is rather direct and forthright — to remind the people of God that God is always with us — “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul” is steadily having a massive and vital impact throughout the Body of Christ, particularly for those whom, well, are longing for some much-needed encouragement.

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THE WORLD — A native of Dallas, Gina McGowan Cade is the author of “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul,” an inspiring, tear-jerking, spiritually confirming book in where Cade’s featured message is rather direct and forthright — to remind the people of God that God is always with us.

“Since my last story, my book sales took off,” McGowan Cade, a native of Dallas, told Making Headline News this week. “I am selling many books at book signings and online through Amazon as well. Since the (last MHN) story, the readers were literally introduced to Gina McGowan Cade. Many people would see me, were Facebook friends with me, but did not know me as a person. They just saw the image.”

Now that “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul” has evolved into a constant success and spiritual hub for those seeking a godly sense of direction, it’s safe to assume that McGowan Cade isn’t just an ordinary social media friend to many with whom she crosses paths.

CONSIDER THE SOURCE — An inspiring and spiritually-driven book in which McGowan Cade’s featured message is rather direct and forthright — to remind the people of God that God is always with us — “Iron Sharpens Iron: Encouragement for the Soul” is steadily having a massive and vital impact throughout the Body of Christ, particularly for those whom, well, are longing for some much-needed encouragement.

Fortunately for them, she has become a monumental beacon of
light as an accomplished Christian author, considering her reading audience has
become accustomed to witnessing her good works, all the while glorifying the
Father in heaven.

“I have received many testimonials where others have been equally blessed when reading the book,” McGowan Cade said. “There is so much word between the pages of the book that has something for almost everyone. Many dilemmas, situations, and issues. Jesus cares for us all.”

Given the continuous influential impact her book is having, particularly during times that are widely regarded as perilous, it has become a foregone conclusion that McGowan Cade cares for those who are destined to draw closer to Christ.

OFF THE CHARTS — After taking direct and strategic commands from her Creator, McGowan Cade not only caught the vision and wrote it down. To her credit, she has earnestly ran with it, ran with it in such a way that a 200-plus book was produced as a result.

Because after all, iron sharpens iron.

If you didn’t know, now you know.

“After writing the book, I would go back and read some of the chapters and be wowed. But understand this isn’t bragging about me. The information for Iron Sharpens Iron Encouragement for the Soul was given to me by the Holy Spirit. — Author Gina McGowan Cade

So to make a long story short…

“If a person hasn’t heard one of my interviews or read an article, they would not know that many of times, I would be asleep and would receive a heavenly download that I would jot down or place notes in my phone,” said McGowan Cade, explaining the awe-inspiring that transpired surrounding her book. “After waking up, again I would go back to review what I wrote and I would often ask the question, ‘Wow, this came from me?’”

SEASON OF OVERFLOW — Since her book’s much-release nearly three years ago, McGowan Cade has enjoyed a considerable amount of success, most notably through sales and enhanced exposure through the mainstream media.

Now that her initial book has caused a stir in the Body of Christ for all the right reasons, McGowan Cade has become inspired to begin writing Book No. 2.

The title: “Your Winning Season: Fear Not,” a project that is scheduled to hit the market sometime in Spring 2019, McGowan Cade said.

As for her latest book, McGowan Cade is especially giddy about the overflow of blessings that have surfaced since its release, some of which arose outside of the United States.

“I have only promoted the book physically in Texas,” McGowan Cade said. “I have had interviews with other (media outlets) that are in different states and even in Nigeria.”

Because after all, iron sharpens iron.

If you didn’t know, now you know.

Texas author Annie Ezell’s empowering book helping others ‘see their potential through pain’

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES LADY ANNIE EZELL

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)

DALLAS — Long before Annie Ezell became the First Lady of Latter Rain Church of God In Christ in nearby Sherman, Texas, God had strategically introduced her to an awe-inspiring vision, one that essentially unfolded nearly four decades ago.

“The vision of me becoming an author started to form when I was in my 20’s,” Ezell told Making Headline News this week. “It was difficult to take the first step or know where to begin, but I knew it was a long-term goal.”

Indeed it was.

And so it came to pass sometime in 2012 that Ezell began to diligently work her vision as a newcomer to this ever-so-popular world of authorship, a trend that was culminated approximately two years later when she witnessed her compelling finished project that is entitled, “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words.”

GOD’S LEADING FIRST LADY — And so it came to pass sometime in 2012 that Sherman, Texas author Annie Ezell began to diligently work her vision as a newcomer to ever-so-popular world of authorship, a trend that was culminated approximately two years when she witnessed her finished project that is entitled, “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words.”

A spiritually-enhancing written document that is comprised of 72 pages in length, Ezell’s “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words” was officially released in March 2014 and, much to her delight, has become a fixture throughout the Body of Christ.

“This memoir is a reminder that better days are ahead if you make the right decisions,” said a spokesperson for Ezell’s book in a detailed breakdown of her work at Amazon.com. “For Annie Ezell, making the right decisions only came through patience, prayer, and learning from her experiences. Life events from a young child into adulthood have conditioned her to help guide others through difficult decisions.

MASSIVE KINGDOM IMPACT — A spiritually-enhancing written document is comprised of 72 pages in length, Ezell’s “Making Decisions Is Not Always Easy: A Memoir Of Unspoken Words” was officially released in March 2014 and has become a fixture throughout the Body of Christ.

“Her wisdom comes from spiritual guidance and obedience to
her calling to encourage others to not give up when they are faced with a
difficult situation. Her appearance doesn’t tell the story: Open the cover to
discover the truth about her life.”

As Ezell, 60, eloquently explained, she had always sensed
that she would eventually find her way to the ideal platform to share of her
assortment of testimonies, as God’s manual encourages us, according to Psalm
105:1.

Now that it all has come to pass, she doesn’t shy away from
the notion that, well, He was there all the time (as the classic gospel song goes).

“I always wanted to tell my story, but I had some reserve,
because of the layers of pain it would evoke,” Ezell, a native of Haworth,
Oklahoma, said. “This particular publication came later after the experience of
losing my mother. I wanted others to understand that when they are faced with
difficult decisions, there is a system to defeating self-doubt and pain.”

Interestingly, Ezell will be afforded the golden opportunity
to promote her book and share of her testimonies as the keynote speaker on
October 13 during a Women’s Conference.

Accompanied by the theme, “Forgiven But Not Healed (Matthew
6:14-15),” this assembly will take place at the United Way Building, located at
713 East Brockett Street in Sherman, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. CST.

As for ways in which her book is synonymous to the purpose for which God created her, Ezell emphasized, among other things, that her reading audience should look no further than her solid, relentless faith walk.

GOD’S MYSTICAL UNION — A product of the Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Superintendent F. T. Pratt Sr. Which — “He taught me the value of a Christian life,” Ezell said — Ezell and husband, Pastor James Ezell (the couple will be celebrating 40 years of marriage on December 31) had ultimately raised their children under similar Christian standards, teaching them morals, empathy, respect, and workmanship, among other things.

“This book is a part of my purpose by allowing me to testify and be a witness of faith, obedience, and victory. It became my platform for speaking to women of all status. It also built my confidence that led me to develop the Forgiven But Not Healed as a Women’s Ministry.” — Lady Annie Ezell

Widely known as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and counselor, Ezell founded her Forgiven But Not Healed ministry two years ago. Initially, it started as a small women’s ministry that was centered mostly on Q&A sessions.

“We (would) gather and have open discussion about salvation and forgiveness on a monthly basis, helping women through their pained experiences and quest to forgiveness,” Ezell said her ministry, which has evolved into more of a spiritual movement, of sorts. “This year will be the first conference inviting attendees from the sessions and is open to the public.”

Prior to their appointment as spiritual leaders, Latter Rain was guided by Elder Clevester and Gladys Johnson

“The support from my husband, children, and spiritual
leaders has pushed me to be a virtuous woman, having faith and praying
fervently for my family,” Lady Ezell said.

The feedback that has been generated since her book’s
release has been favorable.

“My audience has found this book to be a comforting
reference during hard times,” Lady Ezell said. “Men and women comment on their
similar experiences and positive encouragement as they are faced with difficult
times. It has given hope and spiritual uplift for many.

“I’m inspired to continue writing for women audiences and
helping them see their potential through the pain,” conditioned Lady Ezell, a
mother of four and grandmother of four who has announced that other books are
presently in the works. “I’ve prayed for wisdom and God has shaped my heart and
mind to be accepting of others and have the patience to meet them where they
are in their journey with Christ.”

The WORD Network to air Prophetess Maria Vaughn’s 4th Annual Eagle Excellence Awards in September 2019

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES PROPHETESS MARIA VAUGHN AND THE WORD NETWORK

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. (1 Timothy 5:17)

Dr. Maria Vaughn wasn’t just born and raised in the church.

Because of who she is and because of where God is taking her, her reputation is such that she routinely goes to great lengths to advance the kingdom.

In remarkably impressive fashion for the most part.

“My mother is an evangelist and my father is a deacon,” Dr. Vaughn told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “I have great support from my family, which I draw strength from.”

THE PROVERBS 31 FACTOR — Widely known throughout the Body of Christ as Prophetess Maria Vaughn, this Crisfield, Maryland native is not only the proud Founder and CEO of Exodus Deliverance Outreach Ministries, Inc., her Lakewood, New Jersey-based non-profit organization — which has sponsored an assortment of community-related events and awarded scholarships to prospective college students — but she has gained widespread respect amongst her peers for having organized the Eagle Excellence Awards Ceremony.

Such unyielding family support, coupled with the massive divine calling on her life, have benefited Dr. Vaughn mightily, considering her ministry is steadily attracting more of global presence.

NATIONAL IMPACT — Next year’s Eagle Excellence Awards Ceremony, which will be nationally televised by The WORD Network, will be hosted by Bishop Greg Davis and will take place on September 7, 2019 at 5 p.m. EST from Lakewood, New Jersey.

An event that is entering its fourth year of existence, the Eagle Excellence Awards is widely regarded as a mandate, of sorts, whereby organizers deem it essential to honor, celebrate, and encourage Pastors, reminding them, among other things, that their immeasurable kingdom-based work is not being executed in vain.

“Although their ultimate reward will come from God, we deem
it necessary to give thanks to them for the years of selfless service that they
give to the Kingdom of God,” said a spokesperson for the Eagle Excellence
Awards in a synopsis at https://www.eagleawards.org/.

MORE ON THE WORD NETWORK: http://www.thewordnetwork.org/

Roughly a month removed from the latest awards ceremony, Dr. Vaughn’s Fourth Annual Eagle Excellence Awards Show figures to be just as adventurous, thus attracting more of a universal presence.

That’s because next year’s event, which will be nationally televised by The WORD Network, will be hosted by Bishop Greg Davis, and will take place on September 7, 2019 at 5 p.m. EST from Lakewood, New Jersey.

WORTHY OF DOUBLE HONOR — Interestingly, Eagle Excellence Awards organizers have had the luxury of paying homage to more than 150 Pastors from around the country, in part because a number of them haven’t gotten the respect and exposure they rightfully deserve, Dr. Vaughn emphasized.

If the previous three years are any indication, it’s safe to
assume that next year’s event figures to attract a slew of prominent
personalities throughout the Body of Christ.

“We have been able to host many ministry leaders in the
communities to bless the Body of Christ,” Dr. Vaughn said.

Amongst those leaders are Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Pastor Tye
Tribbett, Evangelist Vicki Winans, Evangelist Karen Clark Sheard, Evangelist
Dorinda Clark Cole, Bishop Jason Nelson, Charles Butler & Trinity, the Mann’s
Tour, the Bloody Win Tour, Bishop Marvin Sapp, Le’Andria Johnson, and Tasha
Page Lockhart, just to name a few.

MUCH SPIRITUAL HOOPLA — If the previous three years are any indication, it’s safe to assume that the 2019 Eagle Excellence Awards figure to attract a slew of prominent personalities throughout the Body of Christ.

Also, next year’s Eagle Excellence Awards will be comprised of what Dr. Vaughn said are “specific changes,” most notably a newly-established production team, a variety of commercials and promos months leading to the event, as well as new marketing strategies that will enable organizers to enhance the event’s vision.

In addition, Dr. Vaughn and her staff are devising more
effective and strategic ways to implement networking and continuing long-term
relationships, all the while adding more volunteers and community involvement, particularly

Dallas/Fort Worth author Ann Anderson witnesses God’s mighty plan unfold through her empowering new book

BISHOP T. D. JAKES 2018 WOMAN THOU ART LOOSED ADVANCE MEDIA COVERAGE

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. (Isaiah 55:8 KJV)

DALLAS — As it relates to the above Biblical passage, no one can greatly attest to this thought-provoking notion like Ann Anderson.

Consider, for instance, the memorable, awe-inspiring memory that vividly unfolded, during which Anderson was assembling — both in the natural and spirit — the detailed outline for her newly-produced book entitled, “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott.”

As Anderson explained, whereas God had strategically introduced to her a strategic vision to compose her book some two years ago, she had no lofty concept that her Creator would ultimately take her on an unlikely detour, of sorts.

PURCHASE ANN ANDERSON’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Butterfly-Uprising-Ann-Anderson/dp/1635683041

GOD’S GPS SYSTEM — As Dallas/Fort Worth author Ann Anderson explained, whereas God had strategically introduced her to her vision to compose her book entitled,
“Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott,” some two years ago, she had no lofty concept that her Creator would ultimately take her on an unlikely detour, of sorts.

“I’ve known that I would write a book for over thirty years, and God even gave me ‘Butterfly,’” Anderson told Making Headline News this week as part of the publication’s advance media coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes 2018 Woman Thou Art Loosed that will take place here from October 18-20. “But what I did not always know was that it was going to be about me. It was not until about two years ago, just before I sat down to write, that it dawned on me that it would be my life story.”

And the
rest, as they say, was history.

And just like that, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” had eventually become a personal biography, of sorts, one that is steadfastly impacting lives mightily, most notably throughout the Body of Christ, not to mention a book she’s yet believing God will bless her to escalate into a feature film or perhaps a movie (“I have already written the screenplay,” Anderson said).

EDITOR’S NOTE: Making Headline News, which salutes author and The Potter’s House member Ann Anderson, will be one of several Dallas/Fort Worth-based media outlines, covering Bishop T. D. Jakes’ Woman Thou Art Loosed October 18-20.

“To help empower other women and young girls to find their own voices and to speak their own truth,” said Anderson, a native of
Houston (but was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana) said, when asked what is the single, most underlying reason she chose to produce ‘Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott.’ “To break their silence and stop living in shame and condemnation after experiencing or going through any type of abuse.”

For
Anderson, who resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she certainly knows what
it’s like to navigate and persevere through arguably the toughest of life’s hardships
or, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of her book at https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/butterfly-uprising,
a life that is mired by what she refers to as “multiple dramas.”

By and
large, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” depicts
the life of an 11-year-old girl and her incestuous stepfather, not to mention what
the writers dubs a two star-crossed lovers, a strung-out drug addict, a
struggling single parent, an inspiring ballet dancer, a single young woman, not
to mention a loving middle-aged married couple.

BUT GOD — For Anderson, who resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she certainly knows what it’s like to navigate and persevere through arguably the toughest of life’s hardships or, as mentioned in a detailed synopsis of her book at https://www.kobo.com/ca/en/ebook/butterfly-uprising, a life that is mired by what she refers to as “multiple dramas.”

Interestingly,
such a sequence is all embodied in one woman, Anderson acknowledges, thus revealing
the evolution of Alexander Scott.

And then there is the divine message that this fine and gifted writer shares when offering a thorough breakdown of her book.

“Perseverance,
resilience and overcoming,” Anderson says with such authority. “A butterfly
represents change and is often seen as a foreshadow of positive life changes
and a master of how best to embrace them. As a caterpillar transform itself
into a butterfly, the process is quite painful for it…it represents that even
when a change can be very painful, you come out stronger and more beautiful
than ever before.”

To Anderson’s
credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, she has, by all accounts,
emerged as the beautiful and dynamic godly woman for which she is widely known.

GOOD VIBES — The feedback since the release of her book has been mostly favorable as expected, said Anderson, whose newly-produced written document has generated an array of positive reviews, most notably on social media platforms.

Talk about
basking in the glory of a proverbial “But God” moment.

“Over the
years, I realized that I did not look like what I had been through and that the
only way I was going to be able to help anyone is that I would have to expose
my own sorted truths,” Anderson explained. “I knew that I could no longer be
silent about my traumatic and devious past. At that moment, I was convinced that
when I wrote this book that God would bless me to use it to impact women and
young girls’ lives, to help them to transform from their own traumatic
experiences and become the best version of themselves. And so this was my main
motivation for writing this book.”

FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE — To Anderson’s credit, coupled with the divine calling on her life, she has, by all accounts, emerged as the beautiful and dynamic godly woman for which she is widely known.

The feedback
since the release of her book has been mostly favorable as expected, said
Anderson, whose newly-produced written document has generated an array of
positive reviews, most notably on social media platforms.

Not to be
outdone, additional books are presently in the works, Anderson said.

“I am
presently writing two more collaboration books with other authors and one of
them is called, ‘Hearing God’s Voice: Above The Chaos,’ which will be published
November 15, 2018, and is up for Christian Literature awards and also featured
in Tribute Magazine and RHG Magazine in California,” Anderson said. “My article
is called, ‘Even A Twenty Year Drug Addiction Is Not Final.’ The fourth book
collaboration that I am presently writing is called, ‘I Matter,’ which will be
published on January 30, 2019. My article is called, ‘Rescuing Yourself From
Toxic Relationships.’ I will also be starting my new book soon called, ‘Beauty
From Ashes.’”

PURCHASE ANN ANDERSON’S BOOK HERE: https://www.amazon.com/Butterfly-Uprising-Ann-Anderson/dp/1635683041

A MUST READ — By and large, Anderson’s “Butterfly Uprising: Evolution Of Alexander Scott” depicts the life of an 11-year-old girl and her incestuous stepfather, not to mention what the writers dubs a two star-crossed lovers, a strung-out drug addict, a struggling single parent, an inspiring ballet dancer, a single young woman, not to mention a loving middle-aged married couple.

Talk about basking in the glory of not just her element and, most importantly, in the divine purpose for which God created her.

Especially
as a Christian-based author.

“Another one of the other many things that I love about God is that He does not waste anything that we go through. As I look back over my life and reflect on all of the things that I have learned from what I have experienced in life, I am just amazed about how many different facets of life that I have knowledge of. And so I am able to impart wisdom and help a lot of people in a lot of different areas. I think that is incredible.” — Author Ann Anderson

“I love
serving people and helping them to be better and reach their goals,” Anderson
continued. “As well as helping them to be healthy more productive human beings.
People are always complimenting me on my inner and outer beauty, and the love
and compassion that I have for people in general. And I always share with them
that they are witnessing the beauty that God gave me for all of my ashes.”

Dallas/Fort Worth author Mel Brown McGinnis’ newly-released book drawing a variety of rave reviews

MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES MEL BROWN MCGINNIS

Come unto Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

DALLAS — For Mel Brown McGinnis, age isn’t merely just a number, particularly as it pertains to her immeasurable gifts as a writer.

Consider,
for instance, how at just the tender age of 14, McGinnis was appropriately
introduced to her awe-inspiring gift as a writer, an introduction that, much to
her delight, was orchestrated by God Almighty.

“I’ve known since I was 14 years old that writing is my calling and my God-given gift,” McGinnis told Making Headline News this week. “I’ve been writing poetry since that time, but was never in a position to publish my work.”

CONSTANT PAGE TUNER — Dallas/Fort Worth-area author Mel Brown McGinnis is a little less than two months removed from having witnessed the much-anticipated release of her book entitled, “Reflections Of Life: A Collection Of Poetry, Prose, And Images.” (Photos By Lynsey Wade)

Fortunately
for McGinnis, that all changed some four years ago.

That’s because in 2014, this Louisiana native began working diligently on her novel.

Never mind that she consequently endured the dreaded writer’s block or, as she recalls, she “couldn’t quite move the story and the characters forward.”

Fast forward to some three years later, September 2017 to be exact.

“I was having dinner with an author friend of mine and we were discussing the timeline for finishing my book,” McGinnis explained. “I mentioned to her that I didn’t know if I was quite ready to move forward with the novel, but that I had all of these poems that I had written a few years back that really helped me to get through some dark days.”

LOUISIANA PURCHASE — A spiritually-enhancing and kingdom-advancing written work that is comprised of 134 pages, McGinnis’ “Reflections Of Life: A Collection Of Poetry, Prose, And Images” is the debut literary work of this remarkably brilliant author and poet.

It was, by all accounts, because of those darks — those spiritually challenging and wilderness experiences — that have greatly helped propel McGinnis to authorship greatness.

That’s because McGinnis is a little less than two months removed from having witnessed the much-anticipated release of her book entitled, “Reflections Of Life: A Collection Of Poetry, Prose, And Images.”

A spiritually-enhancing and kingdom-advancing written work that is comprised of 134 pages, McGinnis’ “Reflections Of Life: A Collection Of Poetry, Prose, And Images” is the debut literary work of this remarkably brilliant author and poet from the small town of Monroe, Louisiana.

“This compilation takes you on a journey of love, loss and triumph,” said a spokesperson for McGinnis’ new book in a thorough breakdown at Amazon.com. Reflections is a collection of inspirational poetry, prose, and pictures from all over the world taken by the author during her travels, including selections from the author’s photo collection, ‘Natural Elements.’ The poetry, prose, and images work together to tell stories of empowering women, finding love after heartbreak, advocating against domestic violence, navigating the political landscape, creating pathways to success from humble beginnings, reveling in a love of sports, and paying tribute to a musical legend.”

What’s even more astounding for McGinnis is that since the recent release of her book, she’s managed to garner an array of rave reviews, many of which have blanketed her social media timelines.

A licensed attorney and certified sports agent, McGinnis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a minor in Mass Communications and Journalism from Louisiana State University.

STANDING OVATION — What’s even more astounding for McGinnis is that since the recent release of her book, she’s managed to garner an array of rave reviews, many of which have blanketed her social media timelines.

“The message that God is using me to deliver is that no matter how dark the days may be, never give up on yourself and never give up on your dreams,” McGinnis said. “I use this book to discuss themes of women’s empowerment and advocating against domestic violence.”

McGinnis said a percentage of sales from her book are donated to Women Called Moses, a local nonprofit organization that provides resources and support for victims of domestic violence.

Credit McGinnis’ keen ability to press and navigate through arguably the toughest of times, coupled with her devout faith in God, as amongst the grandest reasons her Creator essentially handpicked her for such a time as now to advance His kingdom, most notably through her endeavor as an author.

“After a
difficult divorce, I was in a very dark place mentally,” McGinnis explained. “I
didn’t know how to move forward in my life and I struggled just to get through
each day. I would pray to God and say, ‘Ok God, so let’s make a deal. If You
will just give me the strength to get through the day and get back to my car,
then I can just cry when I get in the car on my way home. But please don’t let
me have a breakdown at work.’

“I cried
every day literally for six months straight, and I just didn’t think I was
going to get through it,” McGinnis continued. “But I did. One day, I went home
and I said, today will be the last day I cry about this. And it was. Prayer was
my source of strength. I just want people to know that no matter how hard things
get, have faith in God and His plan for your life, and you can get through anything.”

Fortunately for McGinnis, she has been afforded the golden opportunity to make public appearances to promote her newly-assembled book which, in essence, is a unique ministry, of sorts, in its own right.

VIRTUOUS WOMAN — McGinnis is having an immediate and massive impact as an author, this having recently made her authorship debut.

Following what was a busy past few weeks, during which her book has become a constant fixture in the community and on the literary circuit, McGinnis will continue her book tour with a return to her native establishment of Monroe to host what is known as “Conversations With Mel.” This event will involve a Q & A segment and book signing and will take place at the Ouachita Parish Library on October 12.

McGinnis is scheduled to host a similar event on October 13 at the Louisiana Cotton Museum in nearby Lake Providence, where she was raised during the early years of her life.

Also, she will stop in Fort Worth, where she will attend the Women In Local Government Summit that is known as Women in Leadership: A Seat at the Table on October 25, during which she will be a guest speaker and a panelist, but isn’t expected to promote her book.

BUT GOD — Credit McGinnis’ keen ability to press and navigate through arguably the toughest of times, coupled with her devout faith in God, as amongst the reasons her Creator essentially handpicked her for such a time as now to advance His kingdom.

However, she will be promoting “Poetry & Prose” on October 28, which will be highlighted by live readings and a book signing at Victory Drinklab in New Orleans.

In wrapping up the tour, McGinnis will be on hand for “Conversations From The White Sofa” that is powered by the Book Club Brunch, an event that will take place in February 3, 2019 in Plano, Texas.

Talk about having
an immediate and massive impact as an author, this having recently made her authorship
debut.

“I am first
a child of God, and I truly believe I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens
me,” McGinnis said. “I would hope to inspire others to believe the same.”

GOD’S LEADING LADY — Fortunately for McGinnis, a proud alumnus of Louisiana State University, she has been afforded the golden opportunity to make public appearances to promote her newly-assembled book which, in essence, is a unique ministry, of sorts, in its own right.

That she’s
certainly doing with God, her Helper, leading the way.
