Houston entrepreneur Necia Jones’ newly-established Bossed Up Media becoming a popular social media venture

Andre Johnson March 25, 2018

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves. (Philippians 2:3)

Necia Renee Jones’ track record is such that selfishness doesn’t merely hold a place in her life.

TEXAS SIZE IMPACT — A native of Houston, Necia Jones, 38, is owner and chief executive officer of Bossed Up Media, her Houston-based a social media growth company that is geared largely toward enhancing the presence of social media account holders.

If nothing else, a majority of Jones’ peers would collectively described her mostly as a woman who goes above and beyond to help enhance the lives of others, to esteem others highly than herself, as the above Biblical passage insinuates.

“I think we all need support and encouragement,” Jones said. “I’m just trying to do my part.”

That she certainly is.

During a weekend interview with Making Headline News, Jones explained in detail how beneficial her business has been to countless of individuals around the globe.

THAT’S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR — Jones said fellow business owners Caujuan Mayo and Dustin Duffy, her mentors, were amongst those who encouraged her “to go for it” when she initially sensed that she’d like to start a business.

A venture that is just three years removed from his inception, Jones’ Bossed Up Media’s primary focus is to routinely serve as a beacon of light, of sorts, particularly as it relates to she establishing and grow social media accounts.

In a nutshell, this online-oriented business is designed to help social media users increase exposure, most notably by way of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, SoundCloud, not to mention help them to become relevant through Amazon and Google reviews.

“I’ve always been driven and I’ve always loved helping others,” said Jones, explaining what she likes the most about being in business.”

GOD’S PLAN — Interestingly, Jones is a single mother of three who, despite the assortment of hurdles about which she’s faced in running single-parent household, has never allowed unfavorable situations and circumstance reduce her ability to maximize her potential.

More than anything, she acknowledged, being a viable and essential help to others is amongst the key factors that typically fuels her desire to keep going out of her way to help others succeed the best way she knows how.

“I love helping other small business owners, entrepreneurs, and music artists, etc., gain more exposure and get more customers and clients,” Jones said. “I love hearing how their business changed after I helped them with their social media presence.”

Interestingly, Jones is a single mother of three who, despite the assortment of hurdles about which she’s faced in running single-parent household, has never allowed unfavorable situations and circumstance reduce her ability to maximize her potential.

If nothing else, she steadfastly affixes her mindset on what really matters — seeing the light at the end of the tunnel by devising ways to succeed, then reaching back and helping someone else in the process.

“I believe we’re blessed to be a blessing,” said Jones whose educational credentials include having studied at SUNY-Canton, the University of Texas, as well as the Champions School of Real Estate, where she received her real estate license 2003. “After 12 years of real estate and property management, I just want to help as many people as I can. All my services are affordable for that reason.”

Bossed Up Media services clients ranging in ages 18 and up.

“I have so many friends with their own businesses, and they all had the same problems,” Jones said. “They had lack of exposure, business page likes, and followers. That inspired me to start Bossed Up Media.”

The rest, as they say, was history.

Today and much to her delight, Jones has quickly emerged as a fixture in the social media world, all in a span of just three months.

“Since January, and I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude because the response has been phenomenal,” said Jones, whose forthcoming itinerary includes appearing at the 2018 Rated Boujie Awards on May in Houston. “I haven’t traveled outside of Texas yet, but I’ve helped people from all over the world.”

Now we know why her track record is such that selfishness doesn’t merely hold a place in her life.
