And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (Habakkuk 2:2 NIV)
Charmin Y. Anderson is a woman with a vision.
A massive vision.
A resourceful vision.
An effective vision.
A vision that, much to her delight, is being orchestrated by God, the Giver of life.
“I want more speaking engagements for Charmin Y. Anderson,” Anderson, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said while explaining in detail her immeasurable, progressive brand. “I want to travel around the world, helping women fight for themselves.”
Given the immense strides Anderson, 41, has made in recent years — particularly with regards to broadening her horizon — it’s safe to assume that her best and brightest days are well ahead of her.
A native of New Jersey who resides in Chesapeake, Virginia, Anderson is a rising Life Coach/Motivational Speaker whose primary objective is geared largely toward helping clients to help themselves by way of what she refers to as “moving forward to make a difference with a purpose.”
An accomplished businesswoman and skilled author, Anderson also is the proud founder and chief executive officer of C&A Enterprises, her Chesapeake, Virginia-based company that specializes in setting up nonprofit entities and educating community-based driven individuals on how to start, run, or revive a nonprofit organization.
A CHARMIN Y. ANDERSON RELATED STORY:
As for her venture as a motivational speaker, Anderson doesn’t shy away from the notion that her competitive drive in life, coupled with an array of life experiences, have greatly fueled her desire to walk and operate in the purpose for which God has created her.
“Everything that I have experienced in my life, from my stroke to losing my twins to domestic violence relationship, it has caused me to strive for my life and fight for me,” Anderson said. “The amazing thing is I get people to help people. I love helping women be active in their lives to help themselves.”
By and large, while the road to establishing a public-speaking-type business venture hasn’t merely been easy, what Anderson deems mostly appealing is that she is afforded the golden opportunities to enrich and empower and impact lives — one life at a time.
“I get to teach individuals that they do have a purpose and to fight for themselves by sharing their story,” said Anderson, explaining her mission for her latest endeavor that caters mostly to women 21 years of age and older. “I want to instill and inspire others that they to are fight for a reason and others can learn from them.”
So far, Anderson has had the luxury of putting her immeasurable speaking talents on display in such places as New York, Maryland, South Carolina, Florida, California, she said.
A graduate of Bellevue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service Business and Master’s in Organizational Performance, Anderson consequently received a certification from Duke University in Nonprofit Management.
Interestingly, when it comes to those who have greatly inspired her to move forward with becoming active in public speaking, Anderson would be remiss if she did not salute her C&A Enterprises staff, her array of life experiences as well as what she alludes to as “karma,” not to mention fellow motivational speakers Carla Cannon, Regina Hall, Katrina Dawson, and Tracey Spencer, among others.
A business venture she established some three years ago, Anderson’s schedule includes a number of speaking engagements in the coming months, most notably in California, New York, South Carolina, and Maryland.
Given the notable strides she’s made in such a brief timespan, it’s safe to assume that other opportunities to speak publicly will surely arise.
“Because I need to remind individuals to fight for themselves daily,” said Anderson, when asked why is it imperative that she esteems others daily, as God encourages us, according to Philippians 2:3.
