DALLAS — Dytaan Carter has come a long way in recent years.
A very long way, mind you.
Once viewed as just some dude from the hood who was accustomed to running the streets and getting his hustle on, Carter, to his credit, has adjusted comfortably to a life whereby he has made God the Focal Point.
For that reason, he is savoring the fruits of his labor.
A native of Detroit, Carter is an accomplished businessman as the owner of Auto Info By DT, a Dallas/Fort Worth-area automobile venture that is known for specializing in pre-own vehicles through as many as 30 different lenders, Carter told Making Headline News during a recent interview.

“We shop the market for people who may be too busy to do so,” Carter said.
Interestingly, this car salesman guru’s reputation is such that he possesses the skills to sell vehicles in each of the 48 Continental states, and, as he emphasizes, “I can deliver the vehicle to a store near you.”
Known amongst his peers as “DT Carter,” Carter was inspired to delve off into the automobile selling industry amid what he deems a “bad car buying experience.”
It wasn’t, in fact, until after his unsatisfatory purchase that he realized such an experience was warped largely by his lack of knowledge, particularly with regards to the process of buying a car.
All things considered, though, Carter — a devout man of faith — doesn’t shy away from the notion that he’s surely walking in the divine purpose for which God created him.
“The best thing I like about having my own business is the fact that I can be creative and there is no limit to what I would like to do with my business,” said Carter, who’s also an accomplished minister.
His mission includes, among other things, catering to American drivers, he acknowledged, sounding somewhat like a crafty politician in the process.

“If you can drive, I can provide,” Carter said. “My personal mission is to put a smile on people’s faces by providing them with the best serve in order for them to purchase the vehicle that best fit their needs.”
From the Motor City to Lone Star State, Carter was destined to find his niche in the ever-so-competitive car industry.
Having relocated to the DFW along with his wife and the couple’s three children, Carter said he’s always had a passion for helping people, and that through selling automobiles, it was then that he had come to realize he could make a huge difference by way of providing fair and unbiased information to car-buying seekers.
“Consumers who were in the market for one of the most important purchases for their family, a car,” Carter said. “Many people end up with the wrong car, the wrong financing arrangements, the wrong experience.”
By and large, that is where Carter deems it essential to put into play his car-selling expertise.
“I help people understand the process, to make appropriate decisions as to the car and the financing, and the needs of the individual or family,” said Carter, adding that he was first inspired by God to give to His people as well as has enjoyed sustained success with the solid support of his wife. “I am a consultant. I provide the best information…maybe not sell, but I help the clients in making long-term decisions.”
