For a considerable amount of time, these three individuals have proven to be virtually inseparable, particularly as it pertains to making a difference in their respective communities.
What’s especially intriguing is that they are having a collective influential impact in their strategic and ongoing quest to combat and reduce homelessness.
For instance, Archibald and Neely, both of whom are military veterans, have routinely demonstrated a passion for aiding and showing unyielding support for veterans that these progressively thriving businesswomen collectively established Active Veteran With Answers.

Graves, a youth activist and accomplished author, has become a fixture for The DIMES 4 Homeless Veterans Campaign, an organization that is widely known for assisting homeless veterans annually.
Since their last reports by Making Headline News in June 2017 and December 2017, Graves, Archibald, and Neely have gone to great lengths to enhance and promote what undoubtedly have become community-based organizations, each of which are starting to acquire more of a national presence.
For instance, Graves, Archibald, and Neely have joined forces to end the fight against homelessness, they told MHL during a recent interview. According to three, Active Veterans With Answers And Dimes 4 Homeless Veterans collaborates with independently-operated Chick-fil-A and The Green Turtle on fundraising efforts to support veteran service organizations.
Also, AVWA and Dimes 4 Homeless Vets have become committed to hosting what is known as “The Mother’s Day Shopping Extravaganza,” an annual fundraising event that has raised more than $2,000 to date.
In addition, AVWA has become active in facilitating training workshops quarterly, Graves, Archibald, and Neely said through an event called M.I.L.E., an acronym for Making It a Little Easier.
During these workshops, veterans are aided in resume writing, job interviewing techniques as a strategic way to help them and their military spouses transition into the civilian workforce.
And then there is Vet Girls ROCK, an organization that was founded in 2017 and centers largely on educating, enlightening, and supporting women
veterans through professional and personnel development that improves awareness, potential and identify talents. According to Archibald and Neely, women veterans who miss that camaraderie can surely find it in Vet Girls ROCK.
Interestingly, Vet Girls ROCK selected women veterans to become what is known as VGR Champions, during which it partnered with independently operated Chili’s Bar And Grill restaurants to simultaneously coordinate and host the inaugural “VGR Meet and Greet” event attended by women veterans in seven different cities across the nation.

- February 19th is proclaimed National Vet Girls Rock Day on the National Day
Calendar.
- VGR presents “I AM My Sister’s Keeper” support group meetings, held every third Saturday at various libraries across Hampton Roads, Virginia and is established to exclusively bring together women veterans. Specific topics include: returning to civilian life, resilience of women veterans, and recognizing your military and veteran identity. Professional education workshops facilitated by women veterans includes how to transfer military skills, job-specific employment skills, and important updates about Virginia Women Healthcare. Independently operated Olive Garden restaurants proudly honors VGR and sponsors lunch for these events.
- VGR anticipated book release, “Surviving the Transition: A Women’s Veterans Guide to Starting a New Life Post Military Service” is the anthology created by women veterans and is scheduled for release in February 2019. Also, Barnes and Noble is hosting what is known as “Vet Girls Write,” a panel discussion in Hampton, Virginia on November 10, 2018. This event will recognize writings submitted for this book and other published women veteran authors.
- Additionally, celebrity partnerships led to rescuing leftover cuisines from concert performances by Shawn Mendes, Zac Brown Band, and other artists. AVWA’s participation in this repurposing effort assisted homeless veteran shelters with much needed food items, Archibald and Neely acknowledged.
- Star Vista Live Cruises welcomed back AVWA on board the Soul Train Cruise 2018, during which over 150 veterans and their family members joined together and shared priceless fond memories at the “Veterans Get Together.” This was the 2nd consecutive cruise that AVWA facilitated a Veterans Disability and Compensation Q & A session with cruisers registered under the Star Vista Live unique cruise experience, Archibald and Neely said and,
- They are slated to make a guest appearance on The Nikki Rich Show online radio in Beverly Hills, California. This blogtalk radio show discussed veterans concerns and how to bridge the gap within their communities. Information was shared regarding the Department of Veterans Affairs and their subsidiaries which led to recommendations on how to become a more effective veterans outreach organization and AVWA hosting a Veterans Summit soon, Archibald and Neely said.
When asked as it pertains to enhancing your brand; what is so special about these developments as it pertains to enhancing their brand, Archibald and Neely said, “Within two years, we have demonstrated our commitment to support and empower veterans by providing free informational seminars, one-on-one guidance, and outreach in the major cities and rural areas in our country. These developments fulfill our mission to educated veterans, family
members, survivors, and caregivers about the programs, eligibility, and benefits they’ve earned through military service from the Department of Veterans Affairs and their subsidiaries.”
