For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 KJV)
FAITH ON TRIAL
Are you presently enduring unfavorable situations and circumstances that is trying and testing your faith?
Well, Shirley Hentz’s got good news for you.
“My test of faith can be a testimony to someone else that going through different seasons of life to keep believing and keep the faith you can achieve obstacles,” Hentz says without hesitation.
So can yours, as Hentz vividly explained during an interview this week with Making Headline News.
A native of Coffeeville, Mississippi, Hentz is the mastermind behind the book entitled, “Unless You Believe: 20 Days Of Devotion, Faith, And Proclamation.”
A spiritually-empowering written work Hentz began composing sometime in 2015, this Mid-South-area Christian-based author needed somewhere in the neighborhood of three years to assemble a book that is shaping up to become a fixture in the Body of Christ.

A book that is comprised of 119 pages in length, Hentz’s “Unless You Believe: 20 Days Of Devotion, Faith, And Proclamation” was officially released on December 10, 2018.
To her credit, it has been as good as advertised in its brief time on the market.
For Hentz, a devout woman of faith, “Unless You Believe: 20 Days Of Devotion, Faith, And Proclamation” is testament of her immeasurable faith walk, coupled with the divine purpose for which she was created.
More than anything, she acknowledged, her newly-assembled book has emerged as a motivational tool for individuals from various walks of life, notably those who are in dire need some spiritual relief.
“Trouble was never design to last forever,” Hentz said while referring to a few Biblical passages to support her notions. “It may be cloudy now, but the sun is going to shine again. Every day, God gives us his daily bread. Every day, He gives us a measure of grace. God said His grace is sufficient and that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Weeping must go. Weeping and joy can not stay in the same house. We must stay focused. Unless you believe that faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen…unless you believe that you are more than a conqueror if when it do not look like it…we walk by faith and not by sight.”
Moreover, as mentioned to Making Headline News, Hentz emphasized, by all accounts, that it is very seldom that we are afforded the chance to delay — or restrict — the storms that God allows to erupt in our lives.
With No. 2 currently in the works, Hentz said the feedback she’s garnered since the release of her first book has been overwhelmingly favorable, as expected.
“The feedback has been, ‘Wow! God Wow! To God be the glory! Amazing! Thank you Father for grace and mercy,” Hentz said. “It has been a life changing experience for some and for others. It has enhanced their walk with Christ in life to be authentic.”
All of which practically sums up why Hentz doesn’t shy away from the notion that, well, when all else fails, we must seek and consult God Almighty for a divine sense of direction.
“(We must) proclaim the Word of God to the world,” Hentz says without hesitation.
Fortunately for Hentz, her book has given way to her having acquired a great deal of exposure through the media, a trend that included appearances on White Dove WKRA 92.7 FM “The Change” in nearby Holly Springs, Mississippi.
She’s also appeared on Memphis’ WMCTV 5’s “Bluff City Life” which is hosted by Janeen Gordon, as well as The Inspirational Channel 24, the Tammie Tubbs Show on Christian Television Network Channel 49 in nearby Tupelo, and Memphis WDIA 1070 AM’s The Beverly Johnson Show.
Also, Hentz spoke at the Book Club of Oxford, as well as Bring It To The Table, and she’s hosted a book signing at Water Valley’s Fountain Square.
“I want more of God and less of me,” Hentz said. “I want to live intentional on purpose in faith, love, and expectancy.”
All the while standing on the Word of God in the process.
