DALLAS — JacQuie Coleman could be appropriately described as a serial entrepreneur.
How else to explain why she’s the mastermind of a couple of businesses and one book?
A native of Chicago, Coleman in mid-June will be featured by Making Headline News, a story that will chronicle her rise as owner and chief executive officer of Events N Affairs, her Austin, Texas-based event planning venture that is starting to attract more of a national presence.
A company that is 10 years removed from its inception, Coleman’s Events N Affairs is widely known for specializing in all things events, most notably destination weddings, which Coleman deems “our specialty” — along with a variety of sizable events of up to 200 people, many of which are comprised of full service concierge from booking flights, airfare and hotel bookings, not to mention ordering selected theme cakes.
“We do it all, every detail, every décor…from start to finish,” Coleman said. Aside from overseeing the day-to-day operations of Events N Affairs, Coleman owns Chic Stash Inc., her newly-established boutique that is scheduled to go into operations next month. Chic Stash Inc. will be known for specializing in what Coleman describes as “sexy and sophisticated styles for women.”
Also, Coleman authored The Man With the Blue Pants, her intriguing and informative 24-page children’s book that was officially released in May 2019.
Stay tuned for Coleman’s in-depth news feature story by MHN in the coming weeks.
