Delaware businessman Donald Morton empowering black men to ‘recover and be resilient after moral failings’

Andre Johnson July 1, 2020

A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! (Psalm 133:1 NKJV)

MAN UP!

MASSIVE IMPACT — The ReManned Project Incorporated is Donald Morton’s Wilmington, Delaware-based organization that has expanded to garner national notoriety, as mentioned in a detailed introduction of his venture at https://www.remannedproject.org/about.

Donald Morton’s immeasurable entrepreneurial track record is such that he customarily exemplifies having a heart for people.

Especially African-American men ranging in ages 25-and-up.
“We help black men 25 years old and older break the cycle of missed potential so they transform every area of their lives,” Morton told Making Headline News this week.
This pivotal breaking of the cycle is done through The ReManned Project Inc., Morton’s Wilmington, Delaware-based organization that has expanded to garner national notoriety, as mentioned in a detailed introduction of his venture at https://www.remannedproject.org/about.
Generally, the primary objective of ReManned is to strategically answer the crisis of hopelessness and helplessness that exists in our society, said a spokesperson for what has been appropriately deemed a “movement.” In essence, according to organizers for this venture, it was discovered that every available credible statistic that tracks social ill has pointed to manlessness and fatherlessness as the root cause of everything — from rises in suicide, violent crime, school dropout, mass incarceration, and more.

KEEPING IT 100 — “It became a far more important call after I encountered my own moral failing that caused me to lose everything,” said Morton, explaining his longstanding passion he routinely exemplifies as the CEO of The ReManned Project. “It’s important to live a life that models the life you want our society to respect. When you build a home, you do so with the image of the model home as inspiration. We should be the men that our world wants to see and reflect — men of accountability and responsibility.

That, after all, is amongst the reasons ReManned officials have emphasized that, “In order to refrain from picking low hanging fruit, we address the root, manhood, family men, and societal men.”

A native Delawarean, Morton’s movement — much to his delight — couldn’t have reemerged as a globally-acclaimed fixture at a better time, in large part because of the wave of international headlines the Black Lives Matter movement has generated in recent months.

LEADING BY EXAMPLE — His professional expertise includes having empowered and helping men grow and develop for the past 25 years.

“(This) movement to improve the quality of life of individuals, families and societies through accurately reconstructing authentic manhood,” Morton, 50, told MHN. “We are currently working with men that are justice involved. I love seeing the transformation of these black males and seeing them becoming strong black men.

“I have seen that there are many that pay attention to youth, women and other people groups and very little attention paid to men in general…and African American men in particular. We love shedding the light on black men though positive imagery.”

Having become greatly inspired to establish his movement by his late father, as well as prominent individuals such as the late Dr. Myles Munroe, Dr. Ed Cole, Dr. Tony Evans and, “most importantly, Dr. Michael Freeman,” whom Morton describes as a mentor because “He is the model of excellence and integrity,” The ReManned Project is steadily acquiring a continuous global presence, in large part of Morton’s fervent quest to ensure his movement remains relevant, especially for such perilous times as now.

“I have been really fortunate to teach this message of manhood in several cities and states in the United States and countries around the world to include Accra Ghana and Israel,” Morton said. “I will spend the rest of my life attempting to heal and make whole black men who have been traumatized by what it means to be black in this country.”

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER — A proud alum of Howard High School, Morton is a graduate of Philadelphia College of the Bible, Friends International Christian University, Howard University, and Princeton Theological Seminary’s Black Theology and Leadership Institute.

And, then there’s what Morton labels “the second part” of his notable movement, which addresses a call to personal responsibility and self-uplift, he acknowledged.

“We answer the question of, ‘Since we know the things that have happened and continue to happen to black men, what do we do?’” Morton said. “We handle, without excuse, the only thing we can handle and that is being responsible for ourselves, our families, and our communities.”

Public events and appearances are forthcoming during which Morton will be afforded the golden opportunity to promote his global movement.

SPREADING AGAPE LOVE — Morton’s immeasurable entrepreneurial track record is such that he customarily exemplifies having a heart for people.

From October 15-17, The ReManned Project will be hosting what is known as The Emerge Experience: Manifesting Manhood, followed by The Emerge Experience 1000 Black Man March: Beyond Grievances on October 17.

A proud alum of Howard High School, Morton is a graduate of Philadelphia College of the Bible, Friends International Christian University, Howard University, and Princeton Theological Seminary’s Black Theology and Leadership Institute.

His professional expertise includes having empowered and helping men grow and develop for the past 25 years.

“It became a far more important call after I encountered my own moral failing that caused me to lose everything,” said Morton, explaining his longstanding passion he routinely exemplifies as the CEO of The ReManned Project. “It’s important to live a life that models the life you want our society to respect. When you build a home, you do so with the image of the model home as inspiration. We should be the men that our world wants to see and reflect — men of accountability and responsibility.

“I want it to be known that men can recover and be resilient after moral failings,” Morton continued. “Society often gives up on black men. I won’t do it. They are the cornerstone to family and society and without them, our society will never reach its fullest potential.”

DID YOU KNOW? Generally, the primary objective of ReManned is to strategically answer the crisis of hopelessness and helplessness that exists in our society, said a spokesperson for what has been appropriately deemed a “movement.” In essence, according to organizers for this venture, it was discovered that every available credible statistic that tracks social ill has pointed to manlessness and fatherlessness as the root cause of everything — from rises in suicide, violent crime, school dropout, mass incarceration, and more.
