ON & POPPIN’ IN 2021
Ja’Niyah Monique Adams’ Niyah Monique, LLC officially opened for operations on September 13, 2020.
Now the eight-year-old Detroit entrepreneur is devising ways to help inspire other young likeminded kids to delve off into the ever-so-competitive world of entrepreneurship.
Behind the unyielding support of her parents, Adams will host what is known as the Niyah Monique Kids POP UP SHOP, a two-day event during which young area entrepreneurs will have the golden opportunity to showcase their business-related skills and promote their products.
Niyah Monique Kids POP UP SHOP will take place January 2-3 at the Oakland Mall in nearby Troy, Michigan, the site of her forthcoming relocation.
Adams’ Niyah Monique, LLC is currently housed in Great Lakes Crossing Mall — at least through through December 20, Adams’ mother, Sha-Ron McGore told Making Headline News — in nearby in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where she’s open for business every Saturday and Sunday.
As for Adams’ inaugural Niyah Monique Kids POP UP SHOP, McGore said there has been a few children who have officially committed to taking part in her daughter’s event, but she expects more to sign up in the coming days.
Adams’ Niyah Monique, LLC has reaped immeasurable success since its inception, in large part because it is widely known for creating handcrafted hair bows and lip gloss.

As for her forthcoming Pop Up Shop, McGore emphasized, among other things, that such an event is extremely key, particularly young entrepreneurs who are destined to take their respective venture to the next level.
“It gives other kids the opportunity to show off their talents,” McGore said of an event that has been in the works since the official startup of her daughter’s business.
For what it’s worth, McGore said that Adams has become inspired to host a notable event in early January is testament of her solid work ethic as a kid entrepreneur.
McGore, said her daughter — whom she appropriately dubs a “girly girl” — has had a knack for fashion for as long as she can remember.
“I encourage my daughter to be the best at whatever she does,” McGore said, critiquing the strides she’s made in recent weeks since her daughter’s business went into full operations. “And I’m going to support her and push her to be great.”
So far, so good for this young, enthusiastic business owner whom, according to her mother, has already filled half of the slots needed for her Pop Up Shop event.
“I already have three vendors booked,” McGore said. “I want a total of seven for this event.”
