Because of whom she is and because of the divine calling on her life, God is steadfastly using Vernessa Blackwell in a mighty way, particularly as an accomplished author.
Never mind that Blackwell’s rise to becoming a beloved Christian-based writer has emerged amid a rash of tear-jerking, life-altering experiences.
A native Roxboro, North Carolina — a rural Person County establishment that is comprised of roughly 8,362 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Blackwell assumed her God-mandated assignment by delving off into the world of authorship following the deaths of her youngest sister (each of her three sisters are deceased), as well as the deaths of her brother and both biological parents.

A book that is comprised of 190 pages in length, 90 co-authors have assembled to collectively birth Blackwell’s Finding Joy In the Journey Vol 2 Healthy Ways to Find Joy During Difficult Times 90 Day Devotional, whereby they strategically engage in real talk about finding joy during difficult times, most notably COVID-19, loss, love, grief, and healing, among other pertinent topics, this accomplished writer emphasized.
Blackwell also is the mastermind behind Finding Joy In The Journey Vol 1: Healthy Ways to Navigate Grief and Loss, a 191-page project that made its official release in August 2020.

“After we finished that project, the authors wanted to write more,” Blackwell said. “I wanted to help others to heal, and the vision God gave me to share it with other people to share their stories has blossomed into a masterpiece.”
As for Blackwell’s latest “masterpiece,” it appears to have already begun to make immeasurable strides days before its official release, considering her co-authors are well on their way to reaping fruits for their labor.
