RAISING THE BAR
DALLAS — Another notable milestone, another step in the right direction for Texas businessman Derrell Noris.
The Co-Founder of Fresh Tech Solutionz, a Houston-based company that Noris witness go into full operations in December 2016 along with fellow businessman Bardiya Shadmehr, Noris announced that his venture has formed a rather intriguing partnership with the historic Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce.
According Noris, a former Corporate America professional, Fresh Tech Solutionz on August 13 assembled what is known as the ‘GHBC Mobile App,’ a development that had ultimately given way to the app being officially published at the beginning of October.
“We would love to create similar mobile apps for other Chambers of Commerce around the world,” Noris told Making Headline News this week, adding that consumers can now download the ‘GHBC Mobile App’ from their Apple App store or at Google Playstore.

Amongst the reasons Noris’ partnership with GHBC is especially vital is that GHBC officials requested that the mobile app be assembled so that it could be available for Apple and Android, a trend that will allow users to join the chamber, view the GHBC’s up-to-date events, search the GHBC business directory, view current job openings, connect with GHBC social media pages, view business opportunities, and even donate to the GHBC.
Formed in September 1935, several prominent community leaders organized the Houston Negro Chamber of Commerce (or HNCC at the time) to empower and promote African-American businesses in the city. By and large, they focused on encouraging business within the African-American community.
However, in 1964, under the leadership of Mack H. Hannah, Jr., the chamber changed its name to the Houston Citizens Chamber Of Commerce (or HCCC).
Interestingly, even as the Chamber membership expanded mightily, it wasn’t until 2013 that the chamber rebranded its look, thus naming its institution the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce (or GHBC).
As for the newly-established GHBC app, Noris and his team are confident that it will benefit this organization for years to come.
“This will be a better way to connect to members,” Noris explained. “They will be able to send push notifications instead of sending emails to notify users of important announcements and upcoming events.”
Wait. There are a few other added perks and features offered through the GHBC Mobile App, Noris acknowledged.

“The app will also make black businesses, job openings, and business opportunities more accessible and easier to locate,” Noris said. “The app can also be used to showcase major events like the Pinnacle Awards. There is a section added in to highlight pictures and business links for all of the finalists for these prestigious awards being given out at the ceremony.”
Located at 1301 Fannin Street, Suite 2440 in the greater Houston Metroplex, Fresh Tech Solutionz is widely known for developing affordable mobile apps and websites for businesses as a unique way to enable companies mobilize business processes and, most importantly, increase customer engagement.
“I created Fresh Tech Solutionz, because I was doing mobile development in Corporate America and figured that I could do this for myself,” Noris said during a March 2016 interview with Making Headline News.

That he has managed once again to prove to be nothing short of impressive through his venture has benefited him mightily.
Talk about doing things big in Texas.
“I have been a proud member of the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce since January 2018, but have been attending their events since I started Fresh Tech Solutionz 2 years ago. The events that the GHBC have are phenomenal and really showcase the excellence and necessity of black business in Houston, and I’m blessed to be a part of that.”
Another notable milestone, another step in the right direction for this accomplished Texas businessman.
