She considers a field and buys it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 ESV)
AND ANOTHER ONE
To her distinctly unique credit, Caroline L. Liggins has added yet another credible endeavor to her stout list entrepreneurial repertoire.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Liggins, 40, could be appropriately described as a woman of many hats, considering she boasts a solid and immeasurable professional resume, one that includes her assuming the roles as an author, a credible Mindset Coach, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), CPR Instructor, Licensed Insurance Agent and, most recently, a Certified Crematory Operator.
And now this:
Liggins has announced the startup of her latest business venture as an independent Life and Health Insurance Agent.
“(This business endeavor is designed to) educate my (clients) on the importance of properly securing their income through life insurance and final expenses, annuities, savings, and debt resolutions,” Liggins told Making Headline News during a recent interview.

Not only that, Liggins’ responsibilities also include recruiting individuals into the financial service industry, she told MHN. This is done in large part by customarily assisting prospective recruits with obtaining their life insurance license
Also, because Liggins works as a Funeral Director and Embalming Apprentice, she has been afforded the opportunity to work under the supervision of a licensed director and embalmer, all the while assisting families make final arrangement for their loved ones, as well as facilitate grief and preparation of decedents.
For Liggins, a Memphis Melrose High graduate, her rise to becoming a Life and Health Insurance Agent comes amid humble beginnings.
“After working as an LPN for 14 years, I started getting burnt out with the workload and the politics included,” Liggins explained. “I began to speak my future into existence by saying things like, ‘Retire at 40.’ I wasn’t sure how it was going to happen. I only had a desire. During those 14 years, I developed unmatched empathy and compassion for my patients and their families during time of need.”
As far as making the essential adjustments to her already thriving career, Liggins admittedly has always been inclined to embracing new challenges, she acknowledged.
“I have always loved to learn new things,” she said. “After suffering for a condition known as Thanatophobia, I enrolled in Southwest Community Colleges Funeral Service Program, where I will obtain my associated degree in Mortuary Science in 2022.”

In many aspects, Liggins seems to have already found her niche in her latest line of work months before acquiring her degree.
“(I am passionate about) assisting my clients secure their income and providing financial literacy to my community,” Liggins said. “(I’m committed to helping) preserve and restore deceased loved ones, allowing family and friends to say their final goodbyes.”
As for her future ambitions, Liggins said she aiming to, at some point in time, open a family mortuary that will enable her to provide a wide range of death care services, most notably embalming, cremation, and final expense needs.
“I aim to inspire others to (acquire) safe and generated income, plan for the inevitable, and to always push pass their fears,” Liggins said.
