We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. (Romans 15:1 KJV)

A native of Cario, Illinois who was raised in Union City, Tennessee, Bishop Foster’s Woman Be Thou Healed conference will take place a little more than one year after she was elevated to the office of Bishopric.
Inspired and influenced for leadership through the Voice of God, Bishop Foster’s rise to sustained success in ministry comes amid humble beginnings.
HE WAS THERE ALL THE TIME
At the tender age of nine, for instance, Bishop Foster was diagnosed with epilepsy, a genetic disorder or an acquired brain injury such as a trauma or stroke. Also, during a seizure, a person experiences abnormal behavior, symptoms, and sensations, sometimes including loss of consciousness.
There are few symptoms between seizures.
Generally, epilepsy is treated by medications and, in some cases, by surgery, devices, or dietary changes.
As Bishop Foster recalls, doctors said she would not live to see 30 years old.
“However, because of her crazy faith in God and with fasting and prayer, the Lord delivered her from epilepsy,” said a spokesperson for Bishop Foster’s ministry. “She promised the Lord if He would heal her, she would tell the world about it.”
Consequently, Bishop Foster’s battle — and subsequent outlast of epilepsy — is what fueled her fervent desire to organize the Woman Be Thou Healed conference.
“This conference is targeted towards all women with and without afflictions,” Bishop Foster told MHN, referencing the familiar Biblical passage that is Psalms 34:19.
SEASON OF A REBIRTH
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Bishop Foster served over 10 years in counseling at the Murfreesboro-based Behavioral Youth Facilities, during which she also hosted a show on a morning radio station (WGNS). That ultimately gave way to the startup of her radio ministry in several states.
After residing in Atlanta for over 10 years, she relocated in 2012 to Montgomery, Illinois, where she found her niche in full-time ministry, during which she established Bible studies in Behavioral Youth Facilities in nearby Merryville and Aurora.
HARVEST FORTHCOMING
Overseeing a flourishing outreach ministry alongside her husband that has garnered a sustained international presence, Bishop Foster is founder and president of the Mt. Zion Christian Institute, which teaches practical and Biblical principles to help the masses develop better understanding about direction of leadership and the word of God.
Consecrated as a Bishop over women on June 19, 2022, Bishop Foster is a thriving author who has sold hundreds of books, a trend that has added to her already impressive professional resume, both in the spiritual and natural realms.
