APPLE OF GOD’S EYE
As part of Making Headline News’ advance coverage of Bishop T. D. Jakes’ International Leadership Summit May 4-6 in Orlando, Georgia businesswoman Kendra Williams discussed the memorable developments surrounding her authorship debut.
The architect of Am I Not Worthy?, Williams said several life-altering experiences fueled her desire to compose a book she senses will enrich and impact lives for years to come.
“One was going through the aftermath of heartbreak and rejection from a dating relationship,” Williams told MHN. “Truly finding my value and worth in God helped me be able to heal and forgive from that situation. My healing journey took time, but God showed me that my pain wasn’t in vain.
More than anything, Williams acknowledged, God has strategically steered her to the divine purpose for which He created her through Am I Not Worthy?
“He showed me my purpose is to help other women who have experienced similar circumstances,” Williams explained. “I now coach women to heal from past relationships, to rediscover their confidence, and become the best version of themselves, as well as discovering their career paths and purpose. I also share my journey of past academic struggles, overcoming adversity, and success in life, relationships, business, and much more. I am excited to relate to the readers on their journey and to be a beacon of hope that their past doesn’t define them and for them to know they are worthy of everything great in life.”
In essence, Williams’ Am I Not Worthy? has been suitably dubbed a book about overcoming your past, self-doubt, and rediscovering confidence to live a full life while knowing your worth and not settling for less in relationships, career, and life.

Also, this spiritually-empowering written work is a self-help guide to help individuals looking to change their lives and have freedom and success in everything they do.
“(This book is) inspired by events in my life when I doubted my worthiness to live the best abundant life God had for me,” Williams said. “Throughout my journey, I experienced doubt, fear, and shame from my past. I will share my journey of healing from my past dating relationship, forgiveness, grace, and much more.”
Some of the notable topics in Williams’ Am I Not Worthy? include helping individuals recover from heartbreak (or mental health benefits), helping individuals deal with rejection, as well as helping people who find it difficult dealing with shame.
“In life, we come across many obstacles that come our way,” Williams said. “These obstacles and situations often determine how we view our esteem and how others view our value. During our growth process, we may run into people who don’t understand who we are and where we coming from.
“Nevertheless, in our everyday lives, we face rejection,” Williams continued. “This often comes with feelings of sadness, loneliness, and self-doubt. It is important to remember the people we were before these obstacles and situations came into our lives. It’s important to ask yourself, ‘How was your self-esteem before you were rejected from that person, that job, that acting role, that sports team?’ Whatever has impacted you negatively in your life, ask yourself who you were before this happened. Does another person’s perception of you truly define your worth?”

YOU ARE WORTHY
Despite her rash of obstacles, amongst the things about which Williams is blessed is that she has managed to “bounce back” from what could be appropriately described a dreaded season in the wilderness.
“With faith, perseverance, and finding my worth, I am able to share my story with you today,” Williams said. “I hope to inspire generations with my message that it is never too late to find your worth and live an abundant life.”
Williams said she is forever grateful to her solid galley of supporters — and naysayers — for helping her fulfill her dream as a first-time published author.
“I dedicate this book to everyone who has ever doubted their worthiness,” Williams said. “May this book empower you to find your worth and to strive for greatness in all areas of your life. I am grateful to God that I had supportive family and friends, mentors, and coaches support throughout the years and everyone who helped in my book process putting together this book.”
