“Every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities. And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way.” — Kamala Harris, Vice-President Elect of the United States of America
TEXAS-SIZED BLESSING
LANCASTER, Texas — Truth be told, Claudia Jackson merely didn’t want to go down that same dreaded road.
If we’re being honest, her parents didn’t want her too, either.
“Both of my parents dropped out of school at early ages, which inspired me to do good in school,” Jackson told Making Headline News this week. “Education is important, so I wanted to obtain my college education. I encourage my kids every day to stay grounded in school. I’ve always wanted to help others, which inspired me to join the military.”
Thanks in large part to Jackson’s valiant contributions in serving her country and her community, such a commendable trend has enabled her to become the beneficiary of a notable national honor.
A native Dallas, Jackson, 52, has been named a recipient for The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
“We are thrilled to announce that Claudia Jackson has been selected to receive the prestigious award,” said retired Air Force veteran Dr. Radiance Rose, referring to an honor that is powered by ViVi Cole Coaching & Consulting LLC, an official certifying organization that is affiliated with President Biden. “Claudia is among the esteemed trailblazers who will be recognized for their dedication and outstanding commitment to volunteerism and service, which has made a positive impact on the communities they serve.”
Added Jackson, who resides in nearby Midlothian, Texas:
“My strong military foundation has inspired me to help others unselfishly. Volunteering gives me pride in knowing I can help others. Knowing I can make a positive impact in someone’s life is uplifting and rewarding. To make a difference to others, you don’t have to be rich, you just have to have a caring spirit.”
A retired Army veteran who served 23 years in the military, Jackson will be honored during a national ceremony December 9 at New Black Wall Street Market at 2 p.m. EST in Stonecrest, Georgia.
Tickets to this assembly will be available July 11, according to a spokesperson for the event.
Generally, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely considered one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.

As part of Making Headline News’ 2023 Essence Music Festival national coverage amid “the party with a purpose” in New Orleans, Jackson recalled the immeasurable impact Alpha Delta Omega Military Sorority, Inc. has had on her life since its inception.
A credible nonprofit organization for military women that was founded in October 2022, Jackson’s newly-established sorority has the ability to help individuals and groups all ages, she explained.
“Our mission is to provide assistance to military and civilian families in our surrounding communities,” Jackson told MHN. “Right now, we have military women located in Texas, Georgia, Missouri, and North Carolina.”
Interestingly enough, Jackson’s notable community service spans more than three decades.
“I started in high school while I was in JROTC and continued throughout my 23 years in service to present,” Jackson recalls. “Since I relocated back to Texas, I volunteered with Faith Formula Human Resources, providing food and necessity items to the local community.”
DF–WORTHY OF NATIONAL RECOGNITION
Also, Jackson has become an ambassador for Arlington Charities, whereby she customarily provides food and other essentials to local communities. Not only that, Jackson volunteers regularly for Mission Continues, an organization that is comprised of veterans, particularly those with the desire to help others in various phases of their lives.
A devoted member of the National Association of Black Military Women, Jackson is a 1989 graduate of Dallas’ David W. Carter High School.
She holds an Associate’s Degree from Barstow Community College in Business Management, a Bachelor Degree from Troy University in Business Management (with a Minor in Human Resources), and a Master’s Degree In Business Management from Trident University International.
Jackson’s other notable community contributions include, but aren’t limited to, being a catalyst for:
Faith Formula Human Resources
“Is important to me because the organization helps anyone in need,” Jackson told MHN. “One important aspect is helping the homeless community. We refer to the homeless as ‘V.I.P.’s.’ It’s important that our homeless community knows they matter, and the world still cares about them. Faith Formula has established a walk-up food pantry site that allows families to come in and obtain some much-needed food items. Every month you can receive fresh vegetables as well.
Arlington Charities
“(Through this organization, we) find communities where families need additional assistance with food items,” Jackson said. “They set up mobile food pantries in those communities. Every month, with the help of many volunteers, we provide food to many families in need.”
No More Violence Organization
“(This organization) provides long-term support to families after bereavement for free,” Jackson explained. “The organization really helps families that have lost loved ones due to gun violence, suicide, bullying, and domestic violence, and human trafficking.”
The Chocolate MINT Foundation
“The Food Pantry, Uplift Saturdays Program and senior initiative help to fight food insecurities in the community,” Jackson said. “We provide fresh food to families in need.”
Soldier Angel
“As a veteran, it’s important that our troops are cared for,” Jackson told MHN. “I have participated and hosted a sock drive, coordinated and supported the Santa Stocking Stuff Campaign.”
