Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psalms 23:4/NKJV)
NO WEAPON!
On the night of October 1, Shekina Sanders hastened to social media, where she deemed it essential to stage a rather empowering, thought-provoking post.
A portion of it went something like this:
I told my story, and it was very transparent story. Life is life and when God calls you to share stories and testimonies that will help someone looking for help you have to move.
Some pretty eloquent and fascinating words of encouragement by Sanders, this beloved devout woman of faith and Shreveport, Louisiana-based author who is the mastermind behind The Walk Through The Valley: Purpose With Power.

Her sophomore written work that made its official release on September 23, Sanders’ The Walk Through The Valley: Purpose With Power, by all accounts, is centered largely on this writer’s audience grasping a thorough understanding of what it means to walk through the valley was how I got past my thorns.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance coverage of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ All Hope Is Found: Rediscovering The Joy of Expectation book signing in Dallas October 27, Sanders spoke at length about how God strategically infused within her the vision to compose her latest book shortly after she made her ceremonious authorship debut three years ago.
Sanders in 2020 witnessed the release of Getting Past The Thorns, a 64-page book that had been in the works for some three years, according to detailed breakdown of this writer’s book via Amazon.com.

Meanwhile, Sander’s The Walk Through The Valley: Purpose With Power is purposed in large part to encourage and inspire readers that no matter what season of life you’re in to keep walking, we must understand that God wants us to come out of the valley to experience the abundance of life He has for us, according to a synopsis via Amazon.com.
“In every valley experience, God is there with us, and we must learn to lean and depend on Him,” Sanders, a native of Mansfield, Louisiana, says via Amazon.com. “We also must understand during your walk through (wilderness experiences), we have to understand the importance of keeping our peace, guarding our minds, and guarding our hearts. During the walk our bones, we will feel like they are all over the place, and even in that, God can restore and replenish every bone that you may shout, ‘God is the joy and the strength of my life’ while walking.
“This gives you satisfaction in knowing that you will come out of the valley, however many of those things and people weighing you down will need to be left behind. Everyone can’t go with you when God has His hands on you to discover your freedom and breakthrough of coming out. For every valley experience, remember to keep walking and fear not, for God is with you.”
A book that is accompanied by 45 pages, Sanders emphasized, among other things, the divine message through her latest book is predicated largely on our keen ability to press and navigate through the dreaded valleys in spite the slew of the circumstances that often surface in our lives to challenge our faith.

“We must continue to walk until we reach the mountain tops,” Sanders explained. “In the valleys that we travel, we must indeed keep our hearts and minds guarded, learn to have peace while walking by trusting that God will supply in our darkest hours. Although our bones may make our body feel scattered all over the valley, we should find peace in knowing that the bones can live again through Christ Jesus.
“However, while traveling, get to know who is for you and who is against you, because you can’t climb out of a valley with a heavy load constantly pulling you down. No matter what season of life you are in, keep walking, because you will eventually reach the mountaintop.”
Interestingly enough, Sanders said it was sometime in 2020 that she began to gather notes for her sophomore book project. Approximately three years later, her latest book would ultimately become a reality — just as God said.
“This book’s purpose for me is to help share how to recover from hurt, shame, confusion, etc., by having peace of mind by guarding your every being,” Sanders told MHN. “Life will get hard sometimes and even harder for others, but people need to know that they can be restored, healed, and can live in happiness again as God intended. That is the purpose I am called to share.”
DESTINY STEPS
For her valiant efforts, Sanders has become the beneficiary of an array of favorable feedback.
“I have gained positive feedback from readers just saying that the book is insightful and that it encourages them to keep walking when faced with adversities,” said Sanders, who will host her inaugural women’s conference on Saturday, during which she will promote both books.
Other book projects, she said, are forthcoming.
“The call to speak and write came about seven years ago, but it wasn’t until 2018 when I spoke in my first women’s conference that the call was indeed a call from God,” Sanders said. I spoke on the (subject) Challenged Woman, and that woman of the Bible was the woman at the well. I could relate to her in so many ways. This is what brought about my first book.”
Not to mention, jumpstarted what has evolved into a successful authorship adventure in the process.
