AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED
DALLAS — For Dr. Dannah McKellar Ntaka, it was a foregone conclusion that her organization hosted the Second Annual Global Women’s Healthcare Summit.
Much to her delight, it was nothing short of remarkable.
A virtual empowerment assembly she established during the unprecedented global pandemic, Dr. Ntaka’s summit took place August 4-6 at The Campus of Care’s Research Institute in Dallas.
Ironically, the three-day Global Women’s Healthcare Summit took place on the 18th anniversary of The Campus of Care Healthcare Corporation, her featured business endeavor that has become a fixture for finding cures for women’s issues, particularly from pre-menarche to post-menopause.

“Educating the public about health-related issues falls under the four pillars upon which The Campus of Care Global Healthcare Corporation is built,” Dr. Ntaka told Making Headline News during a July 2023 interview.
A rising empowerment assembly that suitably adopted a church-related tent revival theme entitled, Revive Us Again, Dr. Ntaka’s event held a variety of workshops, some of which addressed updates on “America’s epidemic,” as well as the increasing maternal mortality rate, the need for all families to know basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and the path to better health while in a global crisis and downturn economy.
Interestingly enough, this year’s Global Women’s Healthcare Summit featured 20 guest speakers, each of whom disclosed to the masses essential information that figures to enrich and impact their lives for years to come.
Amongst the notable speakers were Dr. Sadie McConner, Shirley J. McKellar, Ph. D, Dr. Zita Seshie, and Hasiyna Carroll, among others.
Having appeared at the summit for a second consecutive year, Dr. McConner addressed the subjects of racism and health disparities in the American health system. A well-respected professor of anatomy, Dr. McConner is owner of the McConner Research & Development Institute and serves as chairperson of the Maternal Mortality Review Board in Daytona, Florida.
McKellar, meanwhile, is widely regarded for her stellar career as a longtime registered nurse.
Currently a retired OBGYN and medical-surgical nurse, McKellar also is a retired Major in the Army Nursing Corps, as well as a retired agency owner who held government contracts with the State of Texas in the 1980’s, during which she cared for sexually-abused women and children.
Dr. Seshie, meanwhile, is a native of Ghana, West Africa who serves as Professor of Sociology in Canada. During the Global Women’s Healthcare Summit, Dr. Seshie spoke from the topic, Health Disparities of women around the World.
“She gave a dynamic presentation,” Dr. Ntaka said of Dr. Sheshie, who also was featured on CTV in Canada for her work with women and girls’ health issues globally.
Also, Global Women’s Healthcare Summit welcomed Carroll, a rising Philadelphia entrepreneur who is the face of Uzuri By Nature LLC.
Generally, Uzuri By Nature LLC, is Carroll’s featured business endeavor whose strategic mission is centered largely on enriching, enhancing, and encouraging individuals through its variety of distinctly unique beauty services.
“We are committed to providing exceptional skincare services and holistic wellness experiences that empower our customers to embrace their inner and outer beauty,” Carroll told Making Headline News during a recent interview. “Through the use of natural and organic products, personalized care, and a customer-centric approach, we aim to nurture and uplift individuals on their journey to self-discovery and self-care.”
