Dr. Angela Seay celebrated her birthday back on November 25.
Fifty-six where?
“This is what No. 56 looks and feels like when you’re focused on being the example you want to see,” Dr. Seay wrote in a spirited post via Facebook on the morning of November 25.
Three days after her latest birthday, Dr. Seay had become the beneficiary of some remarkably amazing news, courtesy of the Petite USA Pageant System.
As if that wasn’t enough to make for what already was a festive, memorable week, Dr. Seay on December 2 fielded a congratulatory email from Petite USA, which informed her she had been dubbed named 2024 Elite Ms. North Carolina Petite state title holder for what is widely regarded as the country’s largest pageant system for women 5 foot, 6 inches and under.
A campaign that was officially announced on Monday, Dr. Seay has advanced to compete during the National Petite USA and International Miss Universal Petite Pageants in July 31 through August 3, 2024, in Chicago.
“With excitement, I submitted the (additional) information immediately,” Dr. Seay, a longtime Alabama educator, told Making Headline News this week. “My commitment to promoting a healthier community aligns with (Petite USA’s) vision of making a positive impact. Founded in 2009 by Hazely Lopez-Alvarez, Petite USA’s strategic vision is centered largely on empowering and celebrating petite beauty — 5 foot, 6inches or less. Generally, the Petite USA Pageant focuses on celebrating the accomplishments of petite women and provides them opportunity to be a voice and spokesmodel for petite women around the United States.
With a vision of serving, Petite USA is more than just a pageant. The Petite USA family, by all accounts, is a sisterhood that embraces healthy competition and a heart to serve others through our leadership and outreach. Each contestant is asked to champion a personal platform that is near and dear to her heart to encourage leadership, community service, and kindness.
A campaign that “is ongoing until we reach the finish line,” Dr. Seay said, the longtime businesswoman-turned-philanthropist acknowledged she is grateful to The Committee To Support Dr. Angela on this journey.
“I strive daily, and it is intentionally to be better today than I was yesterday,” Dr. Seay said of her rising campaign. “I am my only competition. I am determined to be the example that I want to see in others. To lead by example.”
Interestingly enough, Dr. Seay emphasized, among things, this notable campaign has afforded her the golden opportunities to share her passion and determination, particularly with regards to empowering individuals to live “healthier, happier lives” through education, seminars, and workshops.
“(What’s so special about this campaign is) the honor of representing a state that I love while advocating for causes that are important to me,” Dr. Seay told MHN. “The platform provides opportunities to raise awareness and empower individuals on health, wellness, and self-care.
“(This campaign is) the opportunity to connect with diverse people and make a meaningful impact,” Dr. Seay continued. (It’s about) being a role model for aspiring individuals and empowering them to pursue their dreams, the opportunity to use this title as a voice for positive change and philanthropy, the joy of sharing my journey and encouraging others to strive to achieve their goals.”
A native of New York, Dr Seay is an accomplished Holistic Wellness Practitioner Health Educator and the Chief Visionary Officer of D3 Health Fitness, LLC.
To her credit, her immeasurable entrepreneurial gifts have been put on display in a variety of markets around the globe, most notably the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Australia, the United Kingdom, Dubi, Asia, and Germany.
“My personal mission is to represent the people with grace, dignity, and a commitment to making a difference,” Dr. Seay said. “(My mission is) to promote education and awareness to empower individuals to make informed decisions about health, wellness, self-care within our communities, to foster positive change and leave a lasting impact.”
By all accounts, her inspiration through her campaign comes amid her immeasurable body of work in the education in the education sector.
“As an educator, knowing the importance that individuals of all ages can and will benefit from a multifaceted role model who is determined to empower and encourage each person to pursue their dreams fearlessly, and the opportunity to extend contributing to communities at-large via educating on various aspects of health,” Dr. Seay told MHN.
