A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. (Proverbs 18:16/NIV)
PURPOSE PUSHER
Donald Morton undoubtedly understood the assignment.
“I needed to put in writing our signature science we use to help men break the vicious cycles of missed potential so that they master their lives, leadership, and legacies,” Morton, during an interview this week with Making Headline News said, recalling the memorable developments surrounding his latest book. “It has become our first offering in helping men on their journey to mastering business without losing their families and leading their families without losing themselves in the process. This book is the only book a man will need in his library in 2024. It’s the Black man’s Bible of the year.”
The book to which Morton is alluding is The ReManned Book: The Spiritual Journey for Mastering Life, Leadership and Legacy, his featured written work that has created a fervent buzz across various message boards and social media platforms of late.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Morton spoke at length about how his new book — which was released officially in late-2023 — has been as good as advertised and figures to help enrich and impact the lives of men for years to come.

“Within its pages, lies not just knowledge, but transformative experiences,” Morton says of his latest book via his website. “It’s the spiritual journey that lays bare the truths about mastering life, pioneering leadership, and crafting a legacy that damn well resonates for generations.”
In a nutshell, Morton acknowledged, The ReManned Book: The Spiritual Journey for Mastering Life, Leadership and Legacy doesn’t just challenge the status quo, it shatters it.

When asked to assess the feedback he’s garnered since the release of his new book, Morton appropriately singled out a prominent sports journalist, who had some overwhelmingly fascinating things to say about his published masterpiece.
“I think this can be answered best by one of my friends Chris Broussard: ‘Victimhood is often misunderstood by those on both ends of the spectrum. Those who act as if victims don’t exist deny both history and reality, lying to themselves and society as a whole.
“On the other extreme are those who may rightly admit they’ve been victimized but who wrongly have allowed it to become either an excuse for bad behavior and underachievement or a tool that robs them of their self-agency and determination, leaving them drowning in a pool of self-pity and unrealized potential. In The Remanned Book, Donald Morton takes a sledgehammer to both of these faulty mindsets and after tearing them down, rebuilds the reader’s mentality in a way that, if accepted and actualized, will empower him to walk with newfound confidence, conviction, and character.
“The Remanned Book is a must read for all men and boys who are wallowing in mediocrity – or worse. If you want to become the mighty man you were created to be, fully embrace the words on the pages of this book. You, your family, and your people will greatly appreciate it.”

Besides The ReManned Book, Morton has authored the following books: The Sharper Image: Bringing Manhood Into Focus (released in 2011), Faces: The Evolution of Authenticity (which debuted in 2013), and Remarkable Power of Choice (released in 2018).
As for his latest book adventure, Morton emphasized, “In The ReManned Book, the divine message I’m sharing is centered around empowering black men to reclaim their true potential, embracing a life of character, integrity, and resilience. The message weaves together the spiritual, the personal, and the communal, offering a transformative perspective that transcends mere self-improvement.
“I will not rest until every single black man reaches his full potential in leading his life, family and business,” Morton continued. “That’s my purpose for being alive. My purpose is to help all men, but black men in particular answer two fundamental questions that every man has to answer: No. 1, Who am I? This is a question of identity and, No. 2, Why Am I? This is a question of purpose.”
Generally, Morton’s The Remanned Book is an extension of The ReManned Project Inc., his rising organization that has expanded to garner national notoriety.
“We are attempting to create a space where adult black men can reach their full potential,” Morton told MHN. “As we know, there are programs for other people groups, but not as much for adult black men. I am committed to standing strong with brothers and helping to foster a culture where they can show up fully in the world.”
