Interestingly enough, in 2019, after struggling to get her books into bookstores, Polk subsequently opened Professionally Sassy, LLC, a credible bookstore, located at 5300 Cottonwood Road, Suite 4 in Northeast Memphis (Parkway Village area).
By all accounts, Polk customarily uses her bookstore to help aspiring authors see what their books can be, host her own events, and host other authors’ events.
Best known for her book, Girl, Go Eat A COOKIE!….And Then Handle Business!, Polk also uses the power of the written word to help her readers to take accountability for their roles in their setbacks and knockdowns.
