The highly-anticipated collaborative book project that will make its ceremonious debut March 9 amid International Women’s Day, Williams’ rise to becoming an first-time published author comes amid humble beginnings.
An anthology that is accompanied by 13 co-authors, Home Care Around The Globe Volume I is endeavored in large part to serve as a movement, of sorts, one designed to educate, empower, collaborate, and innovate together.
As Williams, she deemed it essential to compose the designated chapter entitled, The Birth of Back to Home Healthcare Services for an anthology that is currently in its production’s final stages.
As part of Making Headline News’ advance national media coverage for Bishop T. D. Jakes 2024 International Leadership Summit from Dallas March 21-23, Williams emphasized, among other things, she’s destined to strategically enlighten the community of how some nursing home residents are equipped to live on their own while having at their disposal special home care services.
“They need people to advocate for them,” said Williams, explaining in detail her selected chapter in Home Care Around The Globe Volume I. “I want the community to now there are government services that will allow your loved ones to obtain services up to 24/7 care.”
A native of Boston, Williams began composing her Home Care Around The Globe Volume I chapter last August and needed somewhere in the neighborhood of two months to complete it.
As for the divine message she’s aiming to send to her reading audience through the anthology, Williams said:
“(My messages addresses) the struggles that minority women face in leadership, being a woman and not feeling equal to our male counterparts, not always feeling like we’re taken seriously.”

Now just weeks away from officially making her authorship debut, Williams said additional books are forthcoming, most notably a written work entitled, Women In Nursing Leadership.
“I should be finished in March 2024,” Williams said of a book that, like Home Care Around The Globe, is in its production’s final stages.
“I have spoken to other women who have shared their feelings of inequality in their leadership roles, including being paid fairly,” Williams told MHN, adding that she wrote an eBook a year ago on how to start a multi-figure home care agency. “I believe that God created me to speak a word over other women who may be feeling this way and doesn’t have the voice to share how they feel and what they’re experiencing.”
WILLIAMS’ FEATURED BUSINESS ENDEAVOR
The mastermind behind Back To Home Healthcare Services, Williams has been actively involved in healthcare since she was a young child, assisting her mom, who worked at a local nursing home. In fact, Williams enrolled in a medical assistant program in 1993 and quickly found her passion in healthcare — this after overseeing a gynecologist’s office in Brighton, Massachusetts. She admittedly had become intrigued by the evolution of healthcare, particularly her father was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2002.
As a result, she subsequently pursued a degree in Respiratory Therapy. After having operated in a long-term acute facility for over 10 years and holding several leadership positions in her Respiratory Department, Williams in 2008 elected to pursue her Master’s Degree in Management with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.
While working as a respiratory therapist at Kindred Healthcare, Williams was later invited to apply to the competitive Nursing Home Administrator Program. Then after completing her AIT — an Administrator in Training Program that essentially was a 13-month internship) — Williams was offered a job to oversee the day-to-day operations at 122 Skilled Nursing Home.

After her first year, the building achieved its first Deficiency Free status in five years. Shortly after achieving Deficiency Free, a small nursing home company recruited Williams to implement and launch its first pulmonary program, during which she would oversee eight skilled nursing facilities.
Interestingly enough, Williams in 2017 took on a facility that needed a leader to turn the building around.
As usual, Williams did not disappoint.
Her next venture, by all accounts, landed her at a 178-bed skilled facility, where she served as administrator.
During her tenure, the facility finished the fiscal year at approximately $1.3 million ahead of budget.
“My passion for healthcare has now driven me to open my own homecare agency,” said Williams, adding that it is due largely to her strong religious beliefs, coupled with her immeasurable leadership characteristics, which have enabled her to reap sustained success in her element and garner favorable results.
Also, Williams currently sits on two boards, was nominated for the Home Care Agency of the Year, a presidential award, and has penned a new book on women in leadership.
