A SERVANT’S HEART
During a recent interview with Making Headline News, was asked Shadonna Warren why it is imperative to esteem and inspire others daily.
By all accounts, the accomplished Virginia businesswoman was rather forthright and candid.
“I understand the importance of quality home care and I’m here to serve,” Warren, 35, the CEO/Partner of We Are All One Home Healthcare, said. “I’m very humble and here to encourage other women in business that it can be done. It’s not always easy being a woman in business, but with a lot of hard work and dedication, it’s worth it. It’s even more of a blessing to have another boss woman in business with you to get the job done.”
Alongside side fellow co-owner, Alicia Middleton, Warren oversees the day-to-day operations of a rising non-medical home care agency, one that allows individuals to regain their independence by staying in the comfort of their home which includes assistance with activities of daily living, most notably bathing, dressing, meal preparation, running errands, shopping, medication reminders, fall prevention, and light housekeeping, amongst other essential services.

“Our transportation helps clients to and from physician appointments, dialysis appointments, surgery, outpatient procedures, etc. The benefit for me is being able to allow seniors to stay at home instead of having to relocate to a facility. Assisted living facilities are great but are not the perfect fit for everyone. My business partner and I enjoy going out in the community to see our clients and their smiles and how happy they are at home. The feedback we receive gives us the motivation to keep going and lets us know we are fulfilling our purpose.”
A business venture that customarily services seniors, Warren emphasized, among other things, her strategic mission is centered largely on allowing seniors and individuals in need to remain in the comfort of their home.
“It allows us to give families peace knowing their loved ones are being well taken care of,” Warren explained. “We want to be available to give families a break if needed so that they are not completely burned out. Taking care of a loved one is not an easy task and that’s where we come into place.”
A 2006 graduate of Courtland, Virginia’s Southampton High School, Warren in 2010 graduated from Corinthians College with a credential in for Medical Assisting. Consequently, acquired an Associate of Science Degree from Tidewater Community College in 2015.
A Virginia Notary Public and co-owner of We Are One Transport, Warren credits her grandparents for inspiring her to pursue her entrepreneurial endeavors.
“But healthcare has always been my passion and being a blessing to others,” Warren said.
She’s doing just that, all the while fortifying a servant’s heart in the process.
