She considers a field before she buys or accepts it — expanding her business prudently — with her profits, she plants fruitful vines in her vineyard. (Proverbs 31:16 Amplified Bible)
A SERVANT’S HEART
Susan P Williams has always had a soft spot in her heart for the elderly.
Ever since she was the tender age of seven, to put it more precisely.
“My mother has been the most influential person (in my life),” Williams, during a recent interview with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments surrounding the startup of her featured business endeavor. “My mother worked in healthcare and used to allow us to come to work with her at a local nursing home down the street from our home. I instantly fell in love with seniors at the tender age of seven. My home care agency is dedicated to my mother. I remember how everyone wanted Mrs. Betty to take care of them.”
It is due in large part to the guidance of her beloved mother that Williams subsequently deemed it a foregone conclusion to follow in her footsteps.

This relentless pursuit of success keeps me focused, driven, and always striving to surpass my own expectations.
“I appreciate the autonomy and independence that comes with being in business,” Williams continued. “I enjoy the freedom to make decisions, the opportunity to pursue my passion, and the potential for financial rewards. I find fulfillment in building something from the ground up, creating jobs, and making a positive impact in my community.”
A credible homecare career that spans 15 years, Williams — also a rising author and speaker — delved into entrepreneurship four years ago, an experience that has brought her considerable amount of success.
“This venture has taken me to several other states to network with other like-minded business owners thriving to be successful and make an impact on their community and on a global level,” said Williams, whose agency services individuals and groups ranging in 18-and-up. “My personal mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care that enhances the well-being of my clients. I aim to create a supportive environment where clients feel valued, respected, and empowered to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes.
“Additionally, my goal is to foster strong relationships with both clients and caregivers, ensuring that every individual receives personalized attention and assistance tailored to their specific needs.”
Recently named one of 13 co-authors for the anthology, Home Care Around The Globe Volume I, Williams’ itinerary includes being a guest speaker in April during the Home Care Explosion event in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Also, she will serve as a co-sponsor for The Cultivate HER Summit, an annual women’s empowerment event in Boston.
“I am actively accepting speaking engagements,” said Williams, who holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a Concentration in Healthcare and Master’s in Management.
LIKE MOM, LIKE DAUGHTER
Williams is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business and is expected to accomplish that feat later this year.
“It’s important to continue to uplift and inspire others because it fosters a positive and supportive environment and builds strong relationships,” Williams told MHN. “By uplifting and motivating others, you contribute to their confidence and self-worth, which can lead to greater success and fulfillment for everyone involved.
“Inspiring others creates a ripple effect, as it may inspire and uplift people around you. By esteeming and inspiring others, you contribute to a more inclusive collaborative and productive community or organization.”
