I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. (John 16:33/NIV)
HE’LL BRING YOU OUT
For Jeanette Andrews, such a declining trend had become all too familiar.
“God gave me the vision to write this book when I discovered the root cause of the generational trauma that I saw in my niece and daughter that was similar to my own trauma,” Andrews, during an interview this week with Making Headline News, said, recalling the memorable developments surrounding the production of her featured book. “It was hard for me to face them and help them because I was reminded by my own heartache and pain.”
As a result to the unlikely struggles of her loved ones, Andrews had become greatly inspired to compose Discovering The Root Of Your Trauma, her highly-anticipated journal that is centered in large part on helping people clear the tumultuous hurdle that is their trauma, thus become a better version of themselves in the process.

“I wrote this book because I wanted the world to know that just because you have had past trauma in your life does not mean you can’t heal from it and become your best self,” Andrews told MHN as part its advance national coverage of Sarah Jakes Roberts’ Second Annual Woman Evolve Conference that takes place September 26-28 from Globe Life Field in Arlington.
A spiritually-equipping, informative written work that is comprised of 92 pages, Andrews’ Discovering The Root Of Your Trauma is a driving testimony of the author’s journey through trauma and aims to be a guiding light for anyone seeking to understand and navigate their own traumatic experiences, according to a detailed breakdown of this Louisville, Kentucky-based author’s book via Amazon.com.

“Through her compassionate insights, Jeanette extends support and guidance from trauma to triumph, illuminating the path toward healing,” said an Amazon spokesperson for Andrews’ featured book. “The heartfelt intention behind this book is to serve as a tool and guide for her loved ones and any reader who indulges each page for a new leaf of hope on their life’s journey.”
As Andrews recalls, she commenced to writing Discovering The Root Of Your Trauma “a while ago.”
She added, “I love to journal daily, but back in August 2023, God gave me my book title and, from there, I was able to organized each chapter. I finished in December 2023, and it was published in February 2024.”
Approximately six months removed from witnessing the debut of her first book, Andrews emphasized, among other things, the divine message through the book is centered largely on the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Church at Philippi — most notably by way of the familiar passage that is Philippians 4:13.
Since making her authorship debut, Andrews has become the beneficiary of an array of favorable feedback.
“My feedback has been that it has helped people to overcome their past hurt and pain, and that they know how to deal with their trauma and how to heal from it,” Andrews told MHN. “Most people said that my testimony was similar to theirs and that they could relate to it, some said that it was a life changer for them.”
Looking ahead, Andrews said other books are on the horizon, including Healing Is A Lifelong Journey (Volume 1), a 30-day devotional that is scheduled to debut September 1.
That book’s second volume is expected to be released sometime in 2025, Andrews announced.

As for her featured book that is as good as advertised, Andrews said:
“I had to accept that God created this purpose and gave me an assignment to share with his children. You can concur anything with God, believing in His Word and being obedient, especially when you have a calling on your life.
“Trauma is like a life-or-death situation, but you can pick and choose what lifestyle you want to live. You can do it God’s way or yours, but just be ready for what’s to come with it. You can heal from your trauma. It’s a choice or you can stay stuck in it. It’s still a choice.”
