DALLAS — Rising actress Nicole Crump will be named Making Headline News’ International Women’s Day Woman of The Year For 2025, the Dallas/Fort Worth-based media outlet announced on Friday.
An official announcement will be made in early March.
Crump, who resides in Atlanta, has garnered high praise of late as one of the nation’s up-and-coming actresses, in large part because of recurring co-star role in Starz’s Black Mafia Family (BMF).
A native of Houston, Crump is widely known for having starred in the television series, Lovers Lane (which aired from 2015 to 2019), The Dark Figure in 2018, and Black Cats and White Mice this past year.
A Radio co-host for Atlanta’s Power 108.9, Crump appeared on TV One’s Fatal Attraction, BET’s Tales, ATL Homicide, and Starz’s Rasing Kanan.
Last year, longtime Maryland medical professional Dr. Marcea Burnette Whitaker, MD was named Making Headline News’ International Women’s Day Woman of the Year for the second consecutive year, becoming the first woman to ever accomplish such a feat since the media outlet’s December 2016 inception.
