THE AMOS 3:3 AFFECT

Esteemed DeRidder, Louisiana faith leaders Pastor Ronald and Lady LaDonna Jarden are collaborating for worthy, life-altering cause.
Once again.
After joining forces to compose a couple’s book, workbook, and journal, the Jardens have now created a product that figures to spice up one’s wardrobe for years to come.
In lieu of their 21st wedding anniversary on Friday, the Jardens announced the release of what they have suitably named Couples Unisex Fragrance.
“We are advocates for marriage and discovered early in our marriage divorce was not an option,” LaDonna Jarden said as part of Making Headline News’ national media coverage ahead of Bishop T. D. Jakes’ 2025 International Leadership Summit April 10-12 from Orlando, Florida. “In today’s society, we give up so easily in marriage. We don’t fight for marriage anymore.”
A longtime faith leader who serves as a Senior Pastor, Ronald Jarden said the newly-released fragrance is a golden opportunity for couple to unite the godly way, thus view marriage from God’s perspective.
“(This fragrance is for) all couples,” Pastor Jarden told MHN. “There are not many others willing to share the ups and downs of marriage. Our lives are open books and if we can help somebody along the way, then our mission is accomplished.”
Now that they have launched another collaborative project, the Jardens are hopeful to take share their array of marital testimonies — and unisex fragrance — with couples outside of Louisiana.
“Wherever it lands, we just want to share that marriage is work and it was ordained by God,” LaDonna Jarden said. “If at all possible, fight for your marriage.”
When asked what their personal mission is for creating the Couples Unisex Fragrance, Ronald Jarden said:
“Building a strong bond based on mutual respect, love, trust, and teamwork, fostering deep intimacy. Meaning we look into each other’s heart and keep a check on their mental health, prioritizing open communication, sharing responsibilities, supporting each other’s personal growth, planning for the future together, and navigating challenges as a united front.”
Said LaDonna Jarden when asked who were amongst those who inspired her and Pastor Jarden to move forward with their new product:
“If I must say, people always ask us how do you two do this and we tell them it’s work and that it hadn’t been easy. This is what 21 years of marriage looks like. The first five years…it was hard. We didn’t think we would make it. But God’s mercy kept us together.”
Now, the Jardens said, it’s time to help advance kingdom marriages not only by way of their faith-based books, but by way of the newly-released Couples Unisex Fragrance.
“In life as a person and a partner should always inspire you to be the best version of you and what your future holds,” LaDonna Jarden said. “It’s awesome to experience life with a partner who knows all the right things to do and to also help guide you. A suggestion is to wait if you’re not in a relationship or when you want to find one is to follow that person who wants you to be something better every second of everyday that you wake up.

“You might not want to give up on your marriage if you and your partner are willing to work on it,” the Jardens added. “Marriages can have the potential for renewal, even if they seem beyond repair.
“Things you can try: be open: be honest with your partner and be open to negotiation. Acknowledge your role. Take ownership of your part in arguments and try to change your behavior.
“Forgive. Let go of past offenses and try to move forward. Show affection: Physical affection can release oxytocin, which can reduce stress and create a calming sensation. Communicate. Check in with your partner daily and avoid making assumptions. Work together. Try to parent as a team.”
