BACK & BETTA THAN EVER

DALLAS — She’s about to run it back big time.
Esteemed Texas philanthropist Bettina Rogers-Mallett announced she will be spearheading what is suitably known as the Second Annual Back To School The Stuff Backpack, a poplar community-wide empowerment event that is centered largely on meeting the essential needs of youths as they prepare to head back to school for the 2025-26 academic year.
Powered by the San Antonio Career Center Foundation, the Back To School Stuff The Backpack will take place August 1 from 1-3 pm CST at 715 N Hampton Road in nearby DeSoto, Texas. SACC will host another Back To School Stuff The Backpack August 9 from 1-4 p.m. CST at 215 Coca Cola Place in San Antonio.

Accompanied by the theme, Stuff The Backpack, the Back To School Stuff The Backpack event is expected to attract approximately 200 attendees, Mallet, the founder of SACC, told Making Headline News this week.
“(The general public is) excited and grateful,” Rogers-Mallett said.
Just like last year, Rogers-Mallett’s Back To School Stuff The Backpack is expected to lure a number of prominent personalities. Longtime Dallas/Fort Worth Emmy Award-winning disc jockey J Kruz of K104 FM will be on hand as a special celebrity host for the August 1 assembly.
King Kyle Lee of The Anti-Bully Gang will make a special guest appearance during the August 8 event, as well as renowned area salon owner Texas T.

Generally, Rogers-Mallett said she relishes the notion that she has been afforded the luxury of hosting a popular community-wide event, in large part because of the sustained success she has acquired in overseeing a credible trade school, which covers three locations in two cities.
“(We’re committed to) serving educational and job placement opportunities to at-risk and underserved individuals,” Rogers-Mallett told MHN.
The founder of The Career Center Brand, Rogers-Mallett’s organization has facilities in San Antonio (the San Antonio Career Center, located at 1712 Buena Vista Street) and DeSoto (the DeSoto Career Center, located 712 N Hampton Rd.).
