Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. (Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV)
TY–ING THE KNOT
Ty Lewis couldn’t have summed it up any better when assessing the God-mandated purpose for which she was created.
“I don’t think I would use the word competitive to describe my drive,” Lewis told Making Headline News this week. For me, it’s more than that. It’s about being obedient to God so that I can fulfill my purpose. When you’re competitive, you’re hungry for success. When you’re purpose-driven, your focus is changing lives.”
To her distinctly unique credit, the mere fact that Lewis has steadfastly proven to be “purpose-driven,” by all accounts, has greatly enabled her to impact lives in ways unimaginable, most notably as the face of Educationally Speaking Center For Learning, Incorporated.
An endeavor Lewis started some five years ago, Atlanta-based Educationally Speaking Center For Learning, Inc. has become a fixture, in large part because it customarily offers tutoring, special education advocacy, consultations, business coaching, home school, and downloadable academic content.

Powered by the philosophy, “We are the bridge that connects the child to the curriculum,” Educationally Speaking Center For Learning, Inc. was established as a strategic way to provide academic excellence to students who have deficits in the areas of reading, math, and writing. Located at 2440 Fairburn Road Southwest, Suite 302, this organization’s mission is centered on enhancing student achievement, as well as using specialized instruction to address the needs of each child.
“Our vision is to create confident students who will use their gifts to become effective leaders in the world,” Lewis said in a detailed introduction of her company at http://www.educationallyspeaking.net/ “Our core values come from one principle…that our children have a future and hope.
“My mission for doing this work is to give every child access to the curriculum.”
A thriving, progressive business that caters to scholars ranging in ages five to 18, Educationally Speaking Center For Learning, Inc. also offer business coaching and consultation services for adults.
Inspired to establish her business by her mother — an accomplished educator whom Lewis said “impacted so many lives” — Lewis likewise has enjoyed a successful stint as an educator, a tenure that spans 16 years.
“I’ve always wanted to make an impact on children’s lives like she did,” Lewis said her mother. “After her diagnosis of dementia in 2014, my world was crushed. I wanted to teach, but I knew that I wouldn’t have the flexibility if I didn’t own my time.”
Such a disheartening development surrounding Lewis’ mother essentially has given way to a massive “purpose-driven” step toward her purpose.
“In 2015, I prayed and God gave me the idea of opening up my center,” Lewis recalled. “Doing this gave me the flexibility and time to be available to be a part-time caretaker to her.”
GLOBAL GAME CHANGER
A native if Queens, New York, Lewis was raised in Meridian, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Child and Family Development from Georgia Southern University. Consequently, she earned a Master of Arts Degree from Clark Atlanta University and an Ed.S in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
A business venture that has garnered an international presence, Lewis is appreciative of the fact that her company has begun offering services and products to clients in Dubai, Africa, China, and a variety of establishments around the nation.
When asked why is it imperative she esteem and inspire others daily (as God encourages us, according to (Philippians 2:3), Lewis said:
“Inspiring others gives them hope. So many people have the potential to be great, but they don’t have an example. I want to empower people, using my life as the model, reminding them that faith, hard work, integrity, and commitment take you places that your mind can’t comprehend.”
Because after all, Lewis emphasized, “That is the drive that wakes me up every day and allows me to continue to push even when I feel like giving up.”
