For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NKJV)
SEIZING THE MOMENT
Another year, another step in the right direction for New York businesswoman Jessik Crespo.
Never mind that some time ago, she sensed it would be in her best interest to put resuming her educational ambitions on hold in favor of a full-time gig for the Department of Education in Yonkers, New York.
All that matter, really, as far as Crespo is concerned, is that she’s steadily devising a strategic, effective plan to erase the memory of a rash of hardships that have surfaced in her life to challenge her faith.
Her latest milestone: Crespo has put her entrepreneurship gifts on display for Paparazzi Accessories, an online, internationally acclaimed retail business that is geared largely toward selling classy and trendy accessories to women everywhere, all for the low cost of just $5.

For Crespo — the CEO of jHairlei Collection — joining Paparazzi Accessories years after first hearing about this company has benefited her mightily, in large part because it has only broadened her already solid entrepreneurial repertoire.
For what it’s worth, she has accomplished Paparazzi Accessories representative Monica Velasquez to thank.
“A few years later, I’m sitting at home on Facebook and I came across a Facebook Live playing that was shared by someone on my friends’ list onto my business page of this woman selling $5 Paparazzi Jewelry,” Crespo told Making Headline News this week. “She immediately caught my attention.”
And the rest, as they say, was history for the opportunistic Crespo whom, to her credit, is destined to remain resourceful until she feels it’s in her best interest to resume her educational responsibilities.
“I’ve seen the drive, the passion, the reason for her — what they call in the Paparazzi business her why for selling this jewelry,” Crespo said. “And, I say this because: I instantly seen myself in her.”
As Crespo explained, joining Paparazzi seemed rather foreign to her, meaning in actuality, she had no concept of what she was doing, nor what to expect.
“I didn’t know what it was…it wouldn’t click for me,” said Crespo, when first introduced to the popular online jewelry venture. “I just knew that at that very moment, I wanted Monica Velasquez to teach me everything she knew about this business.”
Fortunately for Crespo, Velasquez proved to be a huge game changer, of sorts, for a young, rising entrepreneur from The Bronx, New York whom, in keeping it 100, was in dire need of another stream of income.
Besides, Crespo — who Paparazzi venture is known as Glamourhouse Jewelz — sensed she had virtually nothing to lose and so much to gain.
“She works the business with style, grace and a little bit of sass…everything I already knew I had” Crespo said of Velasquez with a smile. “I just knew I wanted to offer other women the same opportunity as she offered to me. I always knew that with my ‘I’ve got nothing to lose’ attitude, I would fit perfectly in creating my very own why.”

So far, so good for Crespo, a once downtrodden high school dropout-turned-entrepreneur, who is currently enjoying her third full month as a Paparazzi representative.
“I’m also an introvert and a huge observer,” Crespo said. “So, if I had to choose anyone (who has inspired me to take up this opportunity) thus far, I would first and foremost say God, Monica Velasquez, Cynthia Morales, Erica Cole, Brenda Perales-Rodriguez and Chands Leath. These women work this business like a true boss.”
As she continues to become acclimated with Paparazzi Accessories, Crespo said amongst the key things on which she must focus in the meanwhile is to stay humble, patient, embrace whatever growing pains that could possibly arise and, most importantly, continue to learn and build solid rapports from some of the best in the business.
“I’m still learning and growing, so I’m not too familiar with anyone else’s names just yet, but I’m getting there,” Crespo said of the early success she’s acquired a newcomer Paparazzi Accessories. “I’m so bad with names. But, if I remember your name, then that means you’re a big deal to me. There’s so much to learn from these ladies and about this business. These ladies are phenomenal women. They’re who I aspire to be.”
All the while she continues to take more steps in the right direction.
