“Every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities. And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way.” — Kamala Harris, Vice-President Elect of the United States of America
NATIONAL HONORS
Dr. Angela Seay is overwhelmingly grateful for the things God has done — and is doing in this memorable, life-altering season of her life.
Take, for instance, the gratitude Dr. Seay exemplified via social media sometime last week. Said Dr. Seay before her gallery of followers via Facebook:
“I’m so honored and super excited! Thank you so much Dr. Radiance Rose for your vision and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Much love!”
Dr. Seay was specifically alluding to her latest milestone after which the Madison, Alabama-based educator learned she had been named a recipient for The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Generally, The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award is widely considered one of the highest honors presented to individuals who have overcome significant obstacles to achieve impressive accomplishments, thus dedicated their lives to advocating for the most vulnerable among humanity and acted with bravery to drive change in their communities — and across the world — while blazing trails for generations to come.
Hours later, Dr. Rose took to social media, where she paid homage to Dr. Seay.
“We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Angela Seay has been selected to receive the prestigious award,” Dr. Rose, a retired Air Force veteran said, referring to an honor that is powered by ViVi Cole Coaching & Consulting LLC, an official certifying organization that is affiliated with President Biden. “Dr. Seay is among the esteemed trailblazers who will be recognized for their dedication and outstanding commitment to volunteerism and service, which has made a positive impact on the communities they serve.”
