A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great. (Proverbs 18:16/English Standard Version)
SEASON OF ELEVATION
Three times undoubtedly is a charm.
But in a rare case for Jay Vinson, two times have benefited him mightily.
For his valiant contributions in the spiritual and natural realms, Vinson has been named Making Headline News Man of The Year for 2023, joining Nashville personality/author Aaron Jordan Jr. in coming away with the media outlet’s most covenant award for a second time.
Jordan Jr. was named MHN Man of The Year in back-to-back years in 2020 and 2021.

Vinson, meanwhile, has garnered such a milestone twice over a span of three years.
For what it’s worth, it is an achievement by which Vinson doesn’t merely take lightly.
“I would sum up this year to be an unforgettable one,” Vinson, the creator of JJV Enterprises, JJV Vinson Corp, and Jay Vinson Ministries Inc., told MHN during a recent interview.
To his credit, Vinson garnered high praise amid the release of his third book, Moving Past Your Pain, his riveting, spiritually-empowering written work that created a fervent buzz across various message boards and social media platforms.

So much so that the Lithia Springs, Georgia-based empowerment professional’s featured book was ultimately endorsed by Bishop Dale C. Bronner, the globally-acclaimed founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Atlanta.
“(My latest book) has been changing people’s lives for the better and, secondly I just recently graduated with my second masters in Sport Management,” said Vinson, recalling what could be appropriately dubbed a banner year. “I also had several speaking engagements, faith-based (engagements) and empowering a local high school football program in Atlanta, Georgia.”
Aside from all the hoopla surrounding his latest book, Vinson recalled how he and his covenant brothers had collectively established what is known as The Kingdom Ambassadors.
“And in 2024, we are already in the planning phase of putting together a youth ministry crusade in Lagos, Nigeria with a ministry that we have built a relationship with,” Vinson told MHN. “Also, I plan on continue to do ministry in the United States through book signings, speaking engagements, and making special television guest appearances for my book.”
In addition, Vinson said plans are in the works to launch Moving Past Your Pain, his coaching academy for middle, high school, college male students, and student athletes. According to Vinson, his academy will address a variety of topics, most notably
- Dealing With Anger
- Managing Your Emotional Reactions
- Five Ways To Respectfully Disagree and,
- Deleting Negative Self-Talk (Daily Affirmations), among other topics.
As for his latest honor, Vinson said 2023 wouldn’t have turned out to be a memorable one if not for his solid supporting cast.
“There are several people who should get credit for my accomplishments this year,” Vinson told MHN.” First it would be God, for without Him, I am nothing. Secondly, my parents and brother, my close-knit family and friends, my lady, and covenant brothers for always keeping me, uplifting me, speaking positivity in my life, and always covering me in prayer.
“This year will go down as a memorable one for me because of the foundation I have laid since the third quarter of 2023…going into 2024. It’s only going to get a lot better. This latest accomplishment is a testament of the late nights I put in after long days of work and staying up late at night, completing schoolwork for my master’s program and building a brand of mine while still finding balance in life.”
