“If we help others get what they want, we will always have what we need.” — Myles Munroe
EMPOWERED TO EMPOWER
To her credit, Renea Jones-Hudson would be the first to admit she didn’t delve into the world of entrepreneurship for the sole purpose of acquiring self-gratification.
“One of the most gratifying aspects of my business is the profound realization that I am in the people business,” Jones-Hudson, during an interview this week with Making Headline News as part of its Women’s History Month national coverage, said, explaining what she likes the most about being a thriving entrepreneur.
“I didn’t fully grasp that concept before. This journey has shown me that my story, with all my experiences, tests, and testaments, my resilience, determination, and triumph, is not just about me. Instead, it serves a higher purpose — a ray of hope and evidence of the power of transformation for others. This recognition has profoundly shifted my perspective, reinforcing the value and impact of my work.”
An accomplished Locust Grove, Georgia-based Empowerment Coach for transitioning military and veteran women, Jones-Hudson is steadfastly making immeasurable strides as a veteran-turned-businesswoman, one who oversees the day-to-day operations of Empow-HER-ed Life.

As Jones-Hudson acknowledged, the Next Best Self VIP Day promises a renewed sense of purpose, a clear action plan, and the confidence to step into this new chapter of your life, an entity that has emerged as one of Empow-HER-ed Life’s finest, considering it helps clients embrace what is suitably known as R.I.S.E., an acronym that stands for Resilience, Inspiration, Strength, and Empowerment.
In a nutshell, R.I.S.E. endeavors to help clients encapsulate the transformative essence of this program.
A rising business venture that customarily services military women ages ranging in ages 35-to-50, Jones-Hudson said her strategic mission through Empow-HER-ed Life is to inspire, guide, and support transitioning military and veteran women as they cross this obscure path from military life to civilian success.
SALUTING WOMEN WHO SHAPE OUR WORLD
“I aim to help them rediscover, redefine, and reaffirm themselves, guiding them to become their next best version on this new path,” Jones-Hudson told MHN. “Leveraging my experiences and the wisdom gained through overcoming similar challenges, I give practical advice, strategies, and resources tailored to the unique needs of transitioning women — from navigating career transitions to adapting to civilian life, my focus is on offering support every step of the way.”
Interestingly enough, Jones-Hudson emphasized she’s become greatly inspired to not only share her story, but the life-altering stories of other veterans who have successfully transitioned from military life.
“(I’m destined to) show that while the journey is unique for everyone, success and fulfillment is attainable,” Jones-Hudson said. “My goal is to help them see that despite our experiences, we have the keys to be and do more, to explore the ideas and skills that we have put aside to carry out the military’s mission, (and to realize that) now we get to set our own course, define success on our terms and do so with all the skills and untapped talents inside of us.”
WE ARE ONE
Jones-Hudson’s itinerary includes witnessing the grand opening of the DSPII Waypoint Veteran Service Organization in La Grange, Georgia on April 27 10 at a.m. EST.
The second institution of its kind, this facility will be the second-largest establishment in La Grange, Jones-Hudson said.
“This is also a community event that we are happy about,” Jones-Hudson told MHN.
WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE
Added Jones-Hudson:
“Besides truly feeling like God is leading me, I am extremely grateful to my husband and children for their flexibility and understanding toward me on my journey to becoming my best self. I am also sincerely thankful to my coaches and friends.
“My inspirations come from interacting, learning, collaborating, and networking with others. I am also inspired by life’s highs and lows, setbacks, and comebacks, which remind me of the endless possibilities we have yet to explore.”
