Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV)
YES, LORD!
For Jay Vinson, the past 12 years was a life-altering season, one he will relish for the rest of his life.
Now it’s on to his next heaven-mandated assignment.
During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Vinson, an accomplished and well-respected faith leader, announced he has become the newly-installed Outreach Coordinator for Reveal Church Worship Center.
Based in Villa Rica, Georgia, Reveal Church Worship Center is pastored by Rodney and Chelby Rogers.

Vinson’s new ministerial role comes a little less than two weeks after he stepped down as the Lead Pastor of True Life Church in Tuskegee, Alabama.
“November 3 as that was my official last Sunday ministering the gospel (at True Life Church),” Vinson told MHN. “The past 12 years were awesome. I started as lead pastor my junior year of college after my predecessor passed away, who happened to be my grandmother.
“I had some low moments as well as some high moments as Lead Pastor. By the power of the Holy Spirit that worked within me, I literally saw people who were healed after I covered them in prayer. I also saw lives transformed, delivered, and set free. I also baptized several people who are members of the ministry.”

For Vinson, he’s now destined to diligently enhance the spiritual gifts with which God has strategically blessed him, an awe-inspiring vision he sensed some three years ago would ultimately come to fruition.
Just as God said.
“I sensed God was preparing me for another assignment in 2021, but the timing was not right during that time as we were still in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic,” Vinson recalls. “Also, I did not have a successor in place that could take the church to another level and, most importantly, had a heart for God first and to serve God’s people to the best of their abilities.”
According to Vinson, he sensed his next kingdom assignment was drawing near when God revealed to him a proverbial “green light” moment sometime in Spring 2022.
Vinson will be replaced by Pastor Henry Moss, who will assume the lead pastoral reigns at True Life Church.
“That’s when a man I never met a day in my life came and worshipped with us every time we had worship in person,” Vinson explained. “His name is Dr. Henry Moss. Not only did he come but he got involved by being one of our musicians as a keyboard player. Then that’s when I learned he had pastoral leadership (skills) in the past and I even grew fond of him as I found out that he was related to the Clark Sisters, J Moss, Bow Wow and other influential people who are in the music industry and the kingdom of God.
“But, most importantly, he not only supported the church, but he also had my back and supported me in other endeavors as a leader. He came in not looking for a title, but he came in looking to serve and that is what won me over and I have the upmost respect for him. I consider him to be my uncle as my mother have adopted him as her brother but, more importantly, the next leader who will take True Life Church Tuskegee to higher heights and the next level with Gods help.”
ADVANCING THE KINGDOM
As for his latest assignment, Vinson’s key responsibilities will include — but are limited to — planning and organizing outreach events and programs, developing relationships with the local community, recruiting and training volunteers, implementing effective strategies, and promoting community engagements and services.
Also, Vinson will work closely with the congregation to grasp a broader concept of their unique needs, thus routinely developing outreach programs that align specifically with the church’s longstanding mission.
More than anything, Vinson, he looks for to his latest assignment to the Body of Christ, one that will be centered largely on functioning under the direction of Pastor and Lady Rogers.
“What they are doing for the kingdom of God in Villa Rica, Georgia is like none other,” Vinson said of his spiritual leaders. “They welcomed me with open arms, and I am grateful, humbled, and honored that they both saw something in me to give me an opportunity to serve with them as the new Outreach Coordinator.”
Said Pastor Rogers of Vinson’s addition to his staff:
“I am so excited to have Jay Vinson coming on board our team here at Reveal Church Villa Rica. At Reveal Church, Jay will be overseeing RAH Communities (Reveal At Home Communities). Within this ministry, Jay will be overseeing six RAH Communities throughout the Atlanta-metropolitan area. He will operate in a Pastoral, Apostolic, and Evangelistic gift. Jay will be required to lead staff calls, lead all RAH leaders spiritually and partner with local communities and faith-based organizations to galvanize communities, and gather data that will progressively grow RAH with the leading of the Holy Spirit.”
AMEN, SOMEBODY!
Interestingly enough, Vinson fully welcomes his ministerial role.
“I am really pumped and excited,” said Vinson, “about this new assignment and ready to get to work by serving the vision and people of Reveal Church Villa Rica to my fullest potential.”
With God, his Helper, steering the way.
