She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night. In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers. (Proverbs 16-19/NIV)
WOMAN OF DESTINY

To her distinctly unique credit, Dr. Dawn Paramore undoubtedly is standing on business in her ever-evolving chose profession.
An esteemed licensed psychotherapist and trauma expert in her own right, Dr. Paramore is the face of Tranquil Solutions For A Centered Mind, LLC, her credible Newport, Delaware-based mental health and empowerment organization dedicated to helping individuals and organizations move from pain to purpose.
Accompanied by more than a decade of experience in her selected line of work, the strategic mission of Dr. Paramore’s Solutions For A Centered Mind is centered largely on destigmatizing mental health, empowering individuals to transform pain into purpose, and building systems that make healing both accessible and sustainable, the longtime businesswoman told Making Headline News this week.
“I believe that trauma may shape us, but it does not have to define us,” Dr. Paramore said. “My life’s work is helping people reclaim authorship of their stories.”

Moreover, Dr. Paramore’s rise to emerge as a well-respected licensed psychotherapist and trauma expert comes amid humble beginnings, something she doesn’t merely take lightly.
“My maternal grandmother, Aquilla Chandler, was my first example of resilience, faith, and strength,” said Dr. Paramore when asked who were amongst those who inspired her to establish her credible firm. “I was her wildest dreams realized. My late son, Samuel Xavier-Lee Edgar, remains one of my greatest inspirations. His brief life expanded my purpose in immeasurable ways. Through him, I understood the depth of grief — and the power of transforming that grief into impact.”
By all accounts, Dr. Paramore’s chief responsibilities in her profession are geared towards addressing trauma recovery, maternal mental health, and addressing the long-term effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), she emphasized.
“My private practice serves children, adolescents, and adults,” Dr. Paramore told MHN.

She would later complete my Doctorate in Prevention Science which, according to her, “strengthened my commitment to addressing trauma, health disparities, and maternal mental health on both clinical and systemic levels.”
Interestingly enough, Dr. Paramore is also an esteemed corporate strategist, keynote speaker, and author.
“Beyond clinical work, I am also a corporate strategist and speaker who helps organizations R.I.S.E. — using my proprietary framework:
- Recognize what is no longer serving you
- Identify the root of the challenge
- Strategize with intention and clarity
- Elevate into sustainable growth.”
Added Dr. Paramore:
“Through Empowerment Conferencing powered by R.I.S.E., I work with corporations, high-level achievers, and budding entrepreneurs to strengthen resilience, improve mental wellness, and increase productivity without sacrificing humanity.”
A TRUE INSPIRATION

For what it’s worth, Dr. Paramore said amongst the things about which she’s passionate is customarily helping people who never believed they would see beyond their trauma or limited vision.
“There is nothing more powerful than watching someone rediscover hope, seeing their posture change, their confidence return, and their purpose awaken,” Dr. Paramore said. “I witness transformation daily, and that is sacred work.”
As Dr. Paramore vividly recalls, her drive to function in her divine call stems largely from what she describes as “heartbreak.”
“After giving birth to my stillborn son, Samuel Xavier-Lee Edgar, I sought therapy to process my grief,” Dr. Paramore explained. “Instead of receiving immediate support, I was placed on a waiting list. In that moment, I realized something profound: women in crisis should not have to wait to heal.
“That experience ignited a fire in me. I returned to school with renewed purpose. I was not simply pursuing degrees — I was building capacity to ensure that others would not experience the same barriers I did. My competitive drive was never about outperforming others. It was about outgrowing limitations — both personal and systemic — so that healing could become more accessible.”
