MAKING HEADLINE NEWS WELCOMES CHAKA COLLINS
Chaka Collins can be appropriately described as a resourceful woman of hats.
Consider, for instance, Collins’ assortment of awe-inspiring endeavors that are comprised of — but not limited to — her assuming the role as an RSVP Director, grant writer, an accomplished author, as well as a credible business owner and adjunct professor.
A native of Tutwiler, Mississippi — a rural town in that’s housed in Tallahatchie County and is comprised of about 3,550 residents, according to the latest U. S. census — Collins also is widely known as the owner and chief executive officer of a thriving, progressive trucking venture.
“(It is a) very lucrative and competitive business,” Collins, 39, told Making Headline News this week. “We cater to all adult ages all of United States.”
Much to her delight, Collins’ featured business venture has given way to her enjoying her share of sustained success which, to her credit, practically sums up why she can be appropriately described as a resourceful woman of hats.
“It has taken me from state to state as we haul over the road loads,” said Collins, providing a detailed description of a business venture that has benefited her mightily since its inception.
A 1998 graduate of West Tallahatchie High School, who also holds degrees from nearby Coahoma Community College and Delta State University, amongst the biggest reasons for Collins continuous success while functioning in her element is that she goes to great lengths daily to achieve her customer service goals and objectives.
“My mission is to continue to move higher in this industry and to introduce and help others who want to enter into this field,” Collins said.
Interestingly, Collins acknowledges that her inspiration for delving off into entrepreneurship essentially came from within.
In a nutshell, credit her devout faith, coupled with her quest to defy arguably the toughest of odds, for helping steer her in the right direction, thus keeping her thoroughly committed to fulfilling and savoring her dreams.
“I was mainly self-inspired,” Collins said with a smile. “I taught myself mainly everything that I know.”
And, to her credit, she’s enjoyed such a remarkably compelling encounter ever since she established her featured business back in December 2014.
Nowadays, Collins doesn’t shy away from the notion that she destined to reach back and help other achieve entrepreneurship success.
“I feel that everyone deserves a chance, regardless of his or her past or background,” Collins said. “I feel that everyone deserves an opportunity to engage in their purpose. I was given a second chance. I want to inspire others to just move and do something.”
Well said by a flourishing businesswoman, one who can be appropriately described as a resourceful woman of hats.
