EDITOR’S NOTE: This is the first of two in-depth feature stories in which Making Headline News is chronicling Author/Businesswoman Rebecca Gregory, who will be releasing her fourth book on June 1, 2020.
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)
GRACE TO OVERCOME
During an interview this week with Making Headline News, Rebecca Gregory deemed it essential to issue some pivotal, thought-provoking words of encouragement to those who are, perhaps, enduring a wilderness experience at this stage in their lives.
“I want them to know that God sees them in whatever state they are in and that He has promised an expected end,” Gregory said with such enthusiasm. “I want them to know that no matter what, they can recover from devastation, tragedy, disappointment and more. I want them to know that they really are more than conquerors.”
Talk about some emphatic, life-enhancing words for a such a crucial time as now — this coming from a devout woman of faith whom, to her credit, can greatly attest to the notion of exemplifying bend-but-don’t-break faith with God, her Helper, steering the way.
For Gregory, an accomplished Memphis businesswoman who is the founder and CEO of RG Coach and Consulting, harboring a renewed sense of faith has, by all accounts, become an integral part of her life, as evidenced by her newly-assembled book entitled, FIVE: A Story Of Undeniable Grace And Favor.

An spiritually-empowering written work that will make its much-anticipated debut on June 1, 2020, Gregory’s FIVE: A Story Of Undeniable Grace And Favor was spearheaded amid a memorable “conversation with my love,” Gregory acknowledged, a story that essentially depicts an array of life-changing encounters this writer labels a “transition to triumph.”
“And call it ‘FIVE,’ representing the number of years it took to see God’s promises manifest,” Gregory, a native of Chicago, said, explaining her God-manifested vision for her latest book. “I took it a step further and added grace to it. Five is the Biblical number for grace. I felt it necessary to brag about God’s grace during this time in my life.”
A newly-produced project that figures to have a monumental impact in advancing the kingdom, Gregory’s emphasized, among other things, her latest book is dedicated mostly to women, particularly those who are stuck in their daily faith walk, not to mention those who are striving diligently to garner some much-needed spiritual relief.
“(This book is dedicated to) women who have experienced difficult circumstances and don’t know how or don’t have the courage to move forward,” said Gregory, who commenced to composing FIVE: A Story Of Undeniable Grace And Favor in January and needed approximately five months to complete her latest published project.
Prior to her newest written document, Gregory authored these informative and intriguing books:
-
BLISS: 101 Ways To Say And Do I Love You, which was officially released in 2016 but revised year
-
I’m Divorced Now What, which debuted in 2017 and,
-
BLISS: The Single’s Edition, which was released in 2018.
Much to her delight, the feedback for Gregory’s FIVE: A Story Of Undeniable Grace And Favor has been overwhelmingly favorable — or a constant tear-jerker, to put it more precisely.
“So far, the reviews (readers) have shared said that my story moved them to tears,” said Gregory, who announced that other books are forthcoming. “I have been told it was beautifully written and shared enough of me while inspiring others.
“This book is a story of resilience,” Gregory added. “I want each person who reads it to find themselves in the story and make it personal. God’s principles apply to all if we choose to work them. Victory is yours for the asking.”
Interestingly, amongst the things about which Gregory is especially grateful is that her latest book aligns with the divine purpose for which she was created.
“It is the core of my purpose,” Gregory said. “My purpose is to inspire, lead, encourage and help transform. I understand that for some people, I was their trailblazer, and now, with this book, I can help them find the path to freedom and victory.”
Talk about some emphatic, life-enhancing words for a such a crucial time as now.
