She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard; She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. (Proverbs 31:16-17 NIV)
NATIONAL INFLUENTIAL IMPACT
Because of whom she is and because of where God is taking her, Sylinda Mumphery isn’t about to allow the COVID-19 global crisis to prevent her to advancing the kingdom.
In speaking with Making Headline News during a weekend interview, Mumphery announced that she will be hosting what is known as the Gloww Virtual Tour, a uniquely-assembled virtual event that will be comprised of more than 40 women from several states during which they will share the same empowerment-oriented platform.
Officially called The Gloww After The Bloww,” Mumphery’s event allow women to speak up or, as she specifically emphasized, “speak out and tell their truths,” she said.
An event that will be streamed live via Facebook and YouTube every Saturday and Sunday, Mumphery said her latest empowerment endeavor will take place until each U. S. state has been represented.

“We are going to speak into the lives of women all over the world,” Mumphery told MHN. “The purpose of this event is to allow women who have been hiding and bleeding between the sheets in fear or shame of what has happened to them to understand that they have a voice and that they do not have to attach the name of the pain to themselves and wear it as their garment.”
Powered by the familiar, yet thought-provoking Biblical passage that is Luke 8:48 — which reads: And he said to her; “Daughter your faith has healed you. Go in peace. — Mumphery said she has become greatly inspired to remind devout women of faith that “faith begins to walk when you give legs to it,” and that every woman that’s featured on this tour has given legs to her story which, as a result, has been healed from her hurt and, most importantly, has miraculously given way to her presently walking in her Gloww.
The acronym for G.L.O.W.W is Giving Love Openly to the Woman Within, said Mumphery, an Atlanta-area author, mentor, international speaker and radio talk show host who is the founder of Girls To Pearls Mentoring Program and Removing The Bandages Women’s Movement.
“It is time for women to learn how to love everything about themselves — the good, bad, and ugly,” said Mumphery, explaining the purpose and mission for her forthcoming event. “She no longer has to diminish who she is by fitting into a box that others have created for her. She is finally discovering that there is something great on the inside of her and she is now choosing to walk in it and allowing her light to illuminate every dark place that she enters.”
Mumphery’s B.L.O.W.W movement is an acronym that stands for Blood Leaking Out of the Winner Within.
“Inside of every woman is a winner, but she must find her,” said Mumphery, referring to the second umbrella of her event. “There are things that come to take the very life out of us and causes a hard BLOWW at times. The woman with the issue of blood’s Bloww was the constant years of bleeding, which could have caused her to bleed to death. Anything that came to cause bleeding to take place in our lives and leave us for dead is the bloww that many don’t survive, but because every woman that’s on this tour survived and didn’t give up, they are now standing brave and strong in their Gloww.”
As expected, the feedback since Mumphery has announced her nationally-acclaimed virtual event has overwhelmingly favorable.
“The feedback has been nothing more than amazing and encouraging,” she said. “Everyone that I‘ve spoken with have stated that they can’t wait to tune in. I had planned to travel this year with the Gloww Tour 2020, however due to COVID-19, it did not happen.”
As Mumphery recalls, her quest to hold her virtual event arose amid some God-manifested revelation.
“After sitting in my bed one night talking to God, I heard the word, ‘virtual,’ and this is how the tour came about,” Mumphery explained. “I just hosted my first Virtual Talent Show two weeks ago, which was successful, and I feel that now is a great time to step into the arena of hosting virtual events that will reach the world and not be confined to the one area in which the event may have been hosted. The ladies on the tour are excited about sharing their stories with one another as well as with the world.”
And, because of who they are and because of where God is taking them, they aren’t about to allow the COVID-19 global crisis to prevent them to advancing the kingdom — and collectively walking in their GLOWW.
