Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NKJV)
T–C–UNBELEIVABLE YEAR
FORT WORTH, Texas — When the unprecedented global pandemic earlier this year altered what many deem a normal style of living, Charles Jones diligently sought and consulted the very Person Who have provided for him a fervent way of escape.
Time and time again.
“I credit our accomplishments to God,” Jones said. “His favor has been instrumental in allowing us to thrive in this pandemic.”
Behind the unyielding endorsement of his wife, Elect Lady Jennifer Jones, and his New Creation Fellowship Church congregation, Charles Jones has enjoyed a year filled with an array of what he appropriately describes as “unwavering support, tenacity, and faithfulness.”
For his valiant efforts, immeasurable strides, and tireless contributions to the community, the New Creation Fellowship Church Senior Pastor has unequivocally added yet another milestone to his long list of accolades.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Jones has been named Making Headline News Man of The Year for 2020, as announced by the publication’s editorial staff earlier this month.

The news of Jones’ latest achievement comes amid a banner year in which the former Texas Christian University football player had become the beneficiary of a rash of God-manifested blessings.
For starters, Jones and his wife had commemorated 20 years of marriage. Ironically, the accomplished Texas businessman and owner of Klassy Scents high end fragrances celebrated 20 years in ministry, which was accompanied by nine years of pastoring.
“(I was blessed to have) re-imagined ministry due to the COVID-19 crisis by strengthening our online presence and successfully navigating ministry through the pandemic,” said Jones, recalling what undoubtedly was a memorable, life-altering year in review.
Interestingly, Jones managed to make good on one of his notable 2020 strategic objectives by expanding his ministry beyond the borders of the Lone Star state, most notably to Arkansas.
Also, NCF has become an integral force in the community, particularly during a pandemic-driven recession that allowed Jones’ church to customarily provide food to more than 200 families per month.
“This year has been unprecedented,” Jones said. “We haven’t seen one like it in our lifetime. We lost loved ones, friends, and many great leaders in Christendom. We’ve seen church closures, many facets of life go virtual, and a God-ordained reset.”
For what it’s worth, Jones’ solid leadership — both in the natural and spirit realms — were virtually unmatched during a perilous season in which mankind collectively shifted its focus toward the church unlike never before.
“People looked for solid spiritual leadership and we were forced to be unselfish as it relates to ministry,” Jones, a longtime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, said. “Wisdom was much needed and, as much as we wanted to see and fellowship with the people we love most, strategic decisions had to be made to keep our people safe.”
Now that the world has witnessed what many pandemic experts have labeled the “beginning of the ending of the coronavirus crisis,” Jones doesn’t shy away from the notion that greater things are on the horizon for his ministry and business in 2021 and beyond.
Amongst the strategic ambitions, Jones said, are (but aren’t limited to):
- Continuing to expand ministry with international focus.
- Beginning what he describes as large-scale renovations during which NCF will unveil plans to expand its sanctuary by 300-plus seats, add classrooms and meeting spaces, and increase its fellowship all.
- Launching NCF’s Household Priests Ministry. “(We’re) building fathers, husbands, and sons in a world in which we are becoming extinct or few and far in between,” Jones said.
- Continuing to grow his NCF’s outreach ministry and,
- Growing NCF youth ministry and partnering with a local school, offering resources, spiritual support, and guidance.
“Whatever God’s plan is, we trust Him,” Jones said. “He is sovereign, always in control, and never out of control.”
As always, Pastor and Elect Lady Jones are grateful of the fact that God steadfastly remained true to His word, as evidenced through Paul’s familiar letter to the Roman church.

“Through it all, we’ve been able to hold things together,” said Jones, referring specifically to Romans 8:28. “And we know, all things work together…..” We believe every promise of God and we have great anticipation for this next wave of glory. God is up to something and He has us on His mind. Great things are on the way.”
Not to mention more “unwavering support, tenacity, and faithfulness.”
