The book to which Gourdine is alluding is Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, the highly-anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by St. Mary’s, Georgia-based International Motivational Speaker and Bestselling Author Carleeka Basnight-Menendez.
A spiritually-powering, life-altering written work that has already created a national buzz, Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers is comprised of 90 co-authors from the “north, south, east and west,” Basnight-Menendez told Making Headline News during a recent interview.
For Gourdine, Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers is her sixth written work and her fourth collaborative project to date.

“It was in my spirit to be a part of this amazing project,” Gourdine, a native of Troy, New York told Making Headline News this week. “(I’m blessed) to allow God to use me as a vessel of His words.”

An accomplished South Carolina entrepreneur in her own right, Gourdine’s rise to becoming a crafty author comes amid humble beginnings. As Gourdine explained, joining Basnight-Menendez’s Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, by all accounts, was a God-manifested blessing for such a memorable time as now.
“My underling reason to accept (Basnight-Menendez’s invitation) to be a part of this project is to allow my prayers and words to heal to someone who needs these words of encouragement,” Gourdine said. “Someone out there can use our words of prayers because they need someone to pray for them.”
Gourdine made her authorship debut in February 2019 with the ceremonious release of The Mask Behind the Mask, her featured authorship book that has been as good as advertised.
Comprised of just 48 pages in length, Gourdine’s The Mask Behind the Mask is widely regarded as a book that strategically motivates you to look inside your mask and know that it is okay to cry, be sad, be mad, and love who you are through it all,” according to an Amazon spokesperson for Gourdine’s first book.
“We wear many masks to cover the flaws or imperfections we have, but there is always a mask that we still hide behind. There is always another face that we hide behind so others don’t see it. Besides The Mask Behind the Mask, Gourdine has authored Unveiled Pieces of Broken Mask, which debuted in November 2020.
Her other collaborative works are:
- Word Speak Hurt No More, an anthology book on all things poetry that debuted in February 2021
- Viata De femeie, which made its official release in February 2021 and,
- Winning Ways, which debuted in May 2021
As for her valiant contributions to Women Who Pray: 90 Days Of Powerful Prayers, Gourdine said:
“My divine message is we have to not let fear be barriers of your reason not move forward in purpose of life. Regardless of what you’ve been through, there is life after trauma, disappointment, or any tragedy you may have faced. We must be willing to move into the unknown and get uncomfortable to be successful.”

Other books are forthcoming, said Gourdine, alluding to what she describes as Part 3 of her My Removing You Mask collection. Also, she announced that she has committed to joining a fifth anthology, which is scheduled to be released later this year.
“My book are very empowering, inspiring, and motivating,” Gourdine said. “My books are (designed to) help people learn and love themselves on the inside and outside. I also have several podcasts that use to inspire people to heal and elevate to best versions of themselves.”
