To her credit, Chavon Thomas did the most prudent thing when presented with a golden opportunity to engage in her latest authorship project.
She grabbed a firm hold of the vision and ran with it.
Before she knew it, Thomas’ eighth book to date had become a ceremoniously reality as CLS Coaching Essentials is just days away from making its official release.
A highly anticipated anthology that is spearheaded by Gary, Indiana-based accomplished author Michelle Franklin, CLS Coaching Essentials was released on May 7. Accompanied by 76 pages in length, Franklin’s latest collaborative project is designed in large part to give tips and bring awareness and insight to coaches and clients, as mentioned in a synopsis of this visionary’s book at Amazon.com.
For Thomas, a Virginia Beach, Virginia-based writer and businesswoman, her quest for composing Book No. 8 essentially was a blessing in disguise, a God-mandated assigned she sensed she couldn’t merely pass up.

“I was offered to be a co-author of this book,” Thomas told Making Headline News this week. “When the opportunity was given to me to share how I serve as the Fire Leadership Coach, I was eager to participate.”
Much to her delight, Thomas latest authorship milestone has been nothing short of impressive. Not only that, but she’s also convinced her contributions to such a compelling and empowering anthology figures to help others to become versions of themselves, particularly through her immeasurable gifts as life coach.
“Coaching is a passion of mine because it allows me to partner with God and others…for them to walk in purpose and fulfill their God assignment,” Thomas said. “The single reason that I wanted to collaborate with this book effort is to allow people to get a better understanding of coaching and provide empowerment and support to fellow coaches who are just beginning.”
Once Thomas was presented with the opportunity to utilize her gifts as an accomplished author through Franklin’s CLS Coaching Essentials, she wasted little time making her presence felt.
“I began writing my chapter of the book at the start of the year,” Thomas recalls. “The process of writing my chapter was smooth because it was me pouring onto pages what I love helping others live out. I finished it in April. It was a great moment because I was excited to be a part of a new project that allowed me to share one of my greatest new passions.”
A native Virginia Beach, Thomas is no stranger to the world of authorship.

As for the divine message Thomas aspires to send to her reading audience through CLS Coaching Essentials, she said while referencing Jeremiah 29:11: “The message that I am sending to my audience is we all have a purpose that we need to fulfill that God had in mind for each of us before we were in our mother’s womb. Therefore, it is imperative that we fulfill that purpose and complete the assignment that God has for us. We may have to overcome fear, rejection, shame, and more. Nevertheless, it will be worth it in the end as our lives and others are transformed.
“This book is directly connected to my purpose because being a coach is what God has called me to in this season of my life. This book allows me to share with others my journey and my wisdom as a coach and why I do what I do. I have written other books, but this book is special at this new stage of my life,” Thomas added.

Other books undoubtedly are forthcoming, Thomas emphasized.
“I believe that the ink of an author never runs out,” she said. “I have several books that I plan to write, ebooks that will come out this year, and two additional anthologies that I have been asked to collaborate in. I am excited to share the power of a message through writing.”
As expected, Thomas has become the beneficiary of an array of rave reviews and feedback since word spread about her eighth book.
“There are many people excited about this book,” said Thomas, adding that as a transformational speaker, she “always open” to speaking engagements. “As business owner and the Fire Leadership Coach, there are many who look to me as a leader. There are people who desire to be coaches in the future, and they are looking to gain more information on being an effective coach.”
