Her children arise and call her blessed. Her husband also, and he praises her. (Proverbs 31:28 NIV)
SENT FROM HEAVEN
DALLAS — As Letitia Scott-Jackson customarily says whenever she assembles a social media post: LISTEN…
In fact, listen as Scott-Jackson vividly recalls the memorable, awe-inspiring developments surrounding when she and husband, Fred Jackson, had first met.
“When he won my heart, I was like, ‘Hey, it’s all God,'” Scott-Jackson said. “God knew whom and what I needed in my life right then and there.”
And the rest, as they say, was history.
From the very moment God has strategically shown Scott-Jackson a glimpse of His glory by introducing her to the soulmate tailormade for her, she would be the first to admit that she’s been on Cloud 9 ever since — and vice versa, of course.
During Making Headline News’ Annual Salute To Father’s Day Tributes, Scott-Jackson deemed it essential to pay homage to her husband, a devoted dad whom she appropriately describes as her “king.”
Interestingly, Scott-Jackson, in a rather unique comparison, likens her husband’s love for her to the adoration he routinely exemplifies for the Dallas Cowboys, his favorite sports team.
Go figure.
“(That’s because) he’s a Texas native,” said Scott-Jackson, referring to her Fred Jackson’s longstanding commitment of following America’s Team.
Speaking of a longstanding commitment, that’s exactly what the Jackson’s inherited when God strategically allowed their paths to cross, something by which Scott-Jackson says she will cherish for the rest of her life.
And vice versa, of course.

“He loves the Dallas Cowboys, yet he has an unconditional love for me that no man has ever shown me besides God and my biological dad,” Scott-Jackson said. “It’s supersedes and surpasses all that I could ever ask for.”
An accomplish Dallas/Fort Worth businesswoman and author, Scott-Jackson is the face of Keeping Families Connected, her progressive nonprofit organization she established in 2015. Much to her delight, her husband has become arguably her grandest supporter through a credit organization that has attracted a national presence in recent years.
“I want to thank him for being the man that God sent him to be…a typical…exceptional in every way,” Scott-Jackson said. “Taking on a ready made family, kids that were not (biologically) his, and a task to be reckoned with. You talking about standing the test of times.”
It is large part because of Fred Jackson’s unyielding love for his family, coupled with his larger-than-life countenance that his beloved companion doesn’t merely take for granted what God has done through their marriage.
“Everyday hasn’t and won’t be a sunny day, yet they always turn out to be blessed days,” Scott-Jackson said. I love you (more than) all the stars in the sky, (more than) all the rocks in the ocean, Mr. Jackson. My king has taught me the best…the best me I can be as a wife, mother, grandmother, and example for all to see.”
And vice versa, of course.
