“Every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities. And to the children of our country, regardless of your gender, our country has sent you a clear message: dream with ambition, lead with conviction, and see yourself in a way that others might not see you, simply because they’ve never seen it before. And we will applaud you every step of the way.” — Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris
C-P-REPRESENTIN’ THE BLUFF CITY
MEMPHIS — Six years and counting.
That is the length of time accomplished Mid-South-area businesswoman Caroline Liggins has been the face of Express CPR Memphis, an independently owned and operated venture over which the native Memphian has presided since 2015.
Generally, Express CPR Memphis has become a fixture for customarily providing pertinent instruction, particularly to healthcare providers and lay persons in providing high quality CPR.
Established in large part to serve greater Memphis and the surrounding areas, Express CPR Memphis, according to Liggins, was founded out of the keen passion of saving lives — one life at a time.

In addition, Express CPR Memphis’ sustained success includes, among other things, offering a wide range of notable courses offered, including Basic Life Support (or BLS), CPR and First Aid, as well as Automated External Defibrillator.
Suitably referred to as AED, Automated External Defibrillator is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias of ventricular fibrillation (or VF) and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electricity, which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to re-establish an effective rhythm.
Interestingly, as of 2021, Liggins announced that Express CPR Memphis now offers a new course known as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (or ACLS).
Not only that, all of Express CPR Memphis’ instructors are solid, fully-trained and certified healthcare providers, each of whom garnered certification through the American Heart Association’s curriculum.
Armed with an immeasurable professional resume, Liggins has enjoyed a considerable amount of success as Licensed Practical Nurse (or LPN) and CPR Instructor.
A well-respected LPN whose professional stint spans 17-plus years, Liggins has been CPR certified since 2003.
