Illinois couple William and LaTia Russell on latest book: ‘It will be such a blessing to be able to call our four-year-old son a best-selling author’

Andre Johnson October 10, 2021 6 min read

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV)

AND IT CAME TO PASS

AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED — A remarkably brilliant book that was assembled collectively by accomplished Illinois author LaTia Russell, her husband, William Russell III, and the couple’s son, William K. C. Russell, Bravo The Brave Butterfly is appropriately deemed “a beautifully illustrated children’s book,” according to an in-depth introduction of this book at Amazon.com.

For some, Facebook is solely for what they have labeled “entertainment purpose.”

For LaTia Russell and her family, though, the popular social media giant has become a blessing in disguise.
Consider, for instance, what vividly unfolded back in January.
“After we launched our publishing agency at the end of December 2020, I was blessed to find a group on Facebook that really provides self-published authors with the tools necessary to be successful in the book business,” said Russell, recalling the memorable events surrounding the production of her latest book. “I’d already created and published a few journals. In January 2021, one of the freelancers I worked with on some other projects mentioned something about butterflies. I talked with my husband and son, and we created Bravo The Brave Butterfly.”

And just like that, the Russells’ latest family written work has become a massive thing of beauty since its ceremonious release.

A remarkably brilliant book that was assembled collectively by Russell, her husband, William Russell III, and the couple’s son, William K. C. Russell, Bravo The Brave Butterfly is appropriately deemed “a beautifully illustrated children’s book,” according to an in-depth introduction of this book at Amazon.com.

“It follows the story of Bravo, who wanders away from his parents and ends up getting separated from his family,” an Amazon spokesperson for the Russells’ Bravo The Brave Butterfly said. “Laced with several lessons, the story ultimately sends the message that no matter the odds or obstacles one is faced with, it pays to be brave, resilient, and stick it out!”

The eBook version of Bravo The Brave Butterfly was released on Friday (October 8) and, according to LaTia Russell, “We will be working on our bestseller campaign the entire weekend, depending on how long it takes for us to hit (Amazon) No. 1 (Bestseller.”

SOLID SUPPORTING CAST — When asked in what ways is Bravo The Brave Butterfly apart of the purpose for which God has created her, LaTia Russell said: “I shared this in our first (Making Headline News) article, but it remains true. It took my husband and I a very long time to conceive our son. We’d nearly come to the resolve that it might not happen for us and then God saw fit to say otherwise. As soon as he was born, God gave me the vision to begin creating stories with my husband and son.

After grasping the awe-inspiring vision to compose their latest book, the Russells needed somewhere in the neighborhood of six months to complete a book that figures to be as good as advertised for years to come.

“We’ve received so much love and support on our journey,” LaTia Russell said. “The eBook released Friday, October 8, 2021. We were in pre-orders the week of the release. I was checking the link to share and saw that we were already the No. 1 new release in one of our categories, two days before the release of the eBook, which is phenomenal. Our goal is No. 1 in all of our categories. It will be such a blessing to be able to call our four-year-old son a best-selling author. I know that God will see to it that we do just that.”

Interestingly enough, LaTia Russell also has authored the following books:

  • Let’s Heal: A Writing Journal With 54 inspirational Quotes To Promote Growth And Healing, released in January 2021

THE LORD’S DOING — “After we launched our publishing agency at the end of December 2020, I was blessed to find a group on Facebook that really provides self-published authors with the tools necessary to be successful in the book business,” said Russell, recalling the memorable events surrounding the production of her latest book. “I’d already created and published a few journals. In January 2021, one of the freelancers I worked with on some other projects mentioned something about butterflies. I talked with my husband and son, and we created Bravo The Brave Butterfly.”

When asked in what ways is Bravo The Brave Butterfly apart of the purpose for which God has created her, LaTia Russell said: “I shared this in our first (Making Headline News) article, but it remains true. It took my husband and I a very long time to conceive our son. We’d nearly come to the resolve that it might not happen for us and then God saw fit to say otherwise. As soon as he was born, God gave me the vision to begin creating stories with my husband and son.

“(This book is designed) to create inclusive and impactful content, while showing that families of color can create generational wealth while sowing into the hearts and minds of children and their families,” LaTia Russell continued. “Very early in life, I was called to my purpose of helping others. This is why I became a social worker. I was also gifted with the ability to write and create poetry, stories, etc. It’s such a blessing to be able to write and create with my family. These stories are a part of our purpose.”

With God, their Helper, steering the way.
